I agree with majority of your post. I think on a good offense, Foster is a 3 or 4. Still don’t fully trust him. But point taken. I still think Sammy has number 1 potential if his body could hold up.

I don’t get this. Which is it: Andy Reid, one of the greatest offensive of his generation, traded up when he had a playoff team to select a QB who won’t play for a year because he recognized the special talent of Mahomes. Does that speak to how special of a guy PM is? or shoudl we feel better about the Bills picking Allen when they clearly had no plan in place? And Barkley/ Anderson both averaged more passing yards than Allen. I don’t think it’s crazy to think Rodgers or Brees would have improved our team.

Foot injuries have destroyed a lot of great athletes careers.

EJ had a better qb rating as rookie than Allen. Just sayin’ ?? Or Mahomes made all those things better because he is a generational talent. He is the second player in nfl history to ever do this. In his second year!

Because Sammy got $16 million/ year and Robert Woods is making half of that. Then they immediately traded a 1st for Cooks and paid him. Sammy can’t stay healthy and it killed his career (along with bad qbs here). But if you don’t understand why a healthy Sammy gets more money from good teams than Woods (and it’s no knock as Woods), you must be evaluating wrs for the Bills the last 2 years. You need to stretch the field with multiple options. It’s helps all facets of your offense. again, you can’t bet on Sammy’s health. But man if I could, I’d rather pay him $16 million than $12 to Tyrell Williams. A healthy Sammy could have been awesome with Allen. I think he’s still only 25. Yeah, he hated the offense here and wanted to go home. And I love Woods but he isn’t a game changer. He’s a good number 2.

Woods won’t have been Woods here. He isn’t a number 1 and does his best when gets the 2nd or 3rd corner. Woods would have been Josh Reed here this year. That’s why the Rams traded for Sammy and Cooks.

I think you’re going a little board with the Hurts slander. I’m pretty sure he’s not a NFL Qb but he was one of the top recruits in the country, started for Bama as a true freshman, and won SEC player of the year . That’s far from he stinks. I hope you’re right. I just feel like we’re going to be next year wondering why our offense wasn’t good enough again when there was plenty of proof it won’t be. That said, it would be a great story if he was successful even though he went to stupid Frannies.

1) Lynn might be a really good cosch 2) we were top 10 in scoring in Roman’s first year and he got fired after we scored 32 points. Couldn’t have been the quarterback who just got benched in Cle’s fault.

Plus if I’m a first time head coach, I’d like a former head coach around to help out. Andu dont know if Joseph is a great coach. But he got screwed by QBs”guru” Elway.

I’m not sure about the Foster but I agree with the rest. Trading up for any non qb is dumb (see Jones, Zay) but Sammy was one of the greatest college receivers I have ever seen. The fact that Sean McVay and Andy Reid paid big resources to get him speaks volumes. but sadly, he will never live up to his draft status because of the injuries. And I don’t why so many Bills have animosity towards the guy. I met him a few times and he genuinely liked being on the Bills. I wish him well.

My brother and I wanted to buy a couple of houses 5 years ago. The same houses that were around 150 are basically double now. We missed out big time. ?

It’s amazing how many excuses are made for our guys but aren’t made for Other teams coaches. I think Denver had the #3 defense last year. If Brian Daboll has the #3 offense at any point in his career, I’m be 100% fine with him.

Sammy averaged 16 more yards per game and that includes the Rams game where he played one drive.

He was pace for 1,000 yards and he got hurt. Why are Bills fans so bitter towards ex players? Injuries are killing his career but you are kinda dumb if you don’t think he won’t be our most talented receiver. It must suck being 5’7”

He seriously his foot hurt. He rushed back too quick (to prove his toughness to dumb fans) and it never healed right. Believe it or not, feet are very important for athletes. and laugh at it all you want, but Sammy’s presence helps their offense. I mean it won’t have the impact of Jordan Matthews or Kelvin Benjamin but it will help.

I took it as it’s a complete downgrade as a football team from Pittsburgh. I agree, this is a lot about nothing. I could be wrong but it may have been Forbes hyping up Buffalo’s renaissance. Yeah, it’s awesome to see. Kinda of embarrassing it took so long but at least it’s happenkng now. Only downside is Buffalo used to the cheapest place on the planet to visit.

I really like going to Pittsburgh. Really pretty city. But man, some of the least attractive women of any decent sized city I’ve ever seen. Boston is up there. For its size, Buffalo has a good collection of cute women. and generally, people who try to put down cities are losers. I’ll put my experiences in Buffalo growing up against almost place. I loved growing up there and imo, it’s in the best shape it’s ever been. Very proud of the city it’s beckmknf. It’s taken forever but it’s actually looks like a real city.

It’s hilarious because there have been threads on this board this year saying Mahomes was a bust because he had a bad training camp practice and how overrated Andy Reid was. if Josh Allen has half of Mahomes numbers, we would build a statue for him. IMO, we make the playoffs with Mahomes this year.

But this is what’s so silly. People will say he busted in the playoffs if he loses. Mahomes is the the main reason the Chiefs have the number 1 seed. They are the 2nd worst defense in the nfl.

Remind me who are the great Belichick and Saban coaches who go on to have success other places? Fact is, most of these guys struggle badly once they leave the successful bubble of NE and Bama. jalen Hurts was better under Lane Kiffin as a freshman than under Daboll. Sorry for venting but I feel like we will be having the same conversation next year wondering why our offense wasn’t better. Their lousy Qb was the SEC player of the year as a freshman under Kiffin!!!

He lost a game where his offense scored 51 points. They are scoring 35 points per game, more than a touchdown more than last year when Alex Smith had the best season of his 10 year career. Sammy has missed more than half of the season and their rb got suspended. Why is it so hard to admit that Mahomes is really, really good and it’s silly to compare Allen to him at this point? Would the Cards not trade Rosen, Redick, and Peterson for Mahomes at this point? 31 nfl fanbases would laugh at us for even debating if this was a good trade for us.
