That’s fair but Dorsey was never an OC at any level when he got the job. Tomlin wasn’t even considered a serious candidate when he interviewed and he has never had a losing season no matter how garbage his qbs are. I think giving a people who might not have a chance at the job in the first place ain’t a bad thing. We need less Hacketts and more coaches who earned their way there.

He literally might have the worst receiving core in the nfl right now. And Kelce is clearly on the downside.

Explain Nate Hackett? Or Pat Shurmur having two chances to be a head coach? Or Rob Ryan? Or Andy Reid’s ex heroin son being a d line coach? Or garbage Brian Schottmeir? Or a million other examples. im not saying it’s all racism but it isn’t just the best guys getting the job. There is a guy in high school or college who is a million times better than Hackett but will never get a chance because is dad wasn’t a nfl coach or he’s not friends with the right people.

A black retread head coach! The nfl is so progressive now! I would be a little nervous if I was a falcons fan because defensive coaches make me nervous. But if he can pluck a McVay OC and get a QB, there is some legit talent on that team and it’s a garbage division.

Tomlin won’t have gotten the Steelers job if he wasn’t given a chance. the rule certainly has its flaws but the nepotism/ buddy system in the bro hiring is out of control. You recycle the same garbage coaches/ front office people because they are related to them or friends with them. but who needs another Brad Holmes when you can hire the ex Chargers GM who just got fired?

So if Allen helped us get the number 1 seed; almost set a nfl record for amount of time leading in games (the Ravens have been stomping teams so they need to have garbage time stats); murdered some of the best teams in the nfl (SF, MiAmi, Texans, Detroit), and had Lamar’s stats, you won’t think he was the mVp? Allen is absolutely amazing. But it was a very inconsistent offense and turnovers didn’t help. I think Allen can be an even better qb next year with less gaudy stats.

Even though he won’t win it, the fact that we have a QB who is even in the discussion blows my mind. I’m tough on Allen because I think some fans give him a pass (😉) for everything (turnovers were a big issue in the regular season. but he truly is a special player. All the credit in the world for him becoming a better player than he was in the Mountain West, which seemed impossible. It is truly unbelievable. So if Lamar wins the SB, do those losses even matter any more? Peyton was awful in the playoffs until they won a SB. So if you point a concern that is valid (Josh would even say it himself), you must be a Ravens fan? What a silly post. This isn’t a cult.

This would be Josh Reed becoming the number 2 after Price left. Shakir could put up really good numbers next year but he doesn’t have the attributes to threaten a defense enough as a number 2. He would get clamped on the outside by most corners. Hes absolutely perfect in his role. Let’s get a legit threat in the draft.

Dareus also could have been great (and probably still in nfl) he wanted it. He had a better 4 year start to his career than Warren Sapp. imagine that 2014 d line (4 guys with 10+ sacks) on this team. beane definitely is not great sr drafting d linemen. We need a game wrecker so badly.

Because it just comes across as sour grapes. Mahomes had a 130 rating after all we heard is he can’t win on the road. After winning 2 MVPs, 2SBs (one each without Hill), helped terrible Nagy get a head coaching job (while Daboll won a COY), under Andy Reid (who was known as a choker and got fired in Philly). So why can’t bills fans stop trying to dismiss that he is truly all time great. Imagine if scenario was switched, and KC fans tried to do this. We would think they were morons. I mean I get this is offseason talk but man, let’s be better. We are lucky to have Allen but Mahomes is different man. of course this is the board with a 100 page thread of mahomes throwing an int in training camp practice 😂

Hill hasn’t been on the chiefs in 2 years and they won a SB (PM a mvp) and are in the afc championship game (after eliminating Hill). Mahomes is that dude and it sucks. Their receiving core’s best player is a 2nd round rookie Gabe Davis now. And he still wins, watch Gabe Davis go to the chiefs, have like 1,300 yards and 12 tds, and bills fans will say it’s because Mahomes has superior weapons.

Everyone picks the chargers to be that “sneaky” team every year and they always disappoint. One of those franchises with no luck. But it does seem like a great hire.

Allen did a great job protecting the ball in the playoffs. It makes it even more frustrating.

Jefferson is the superior player but Diggs was more established and helped Allen take that leap. It was a win win trade though I’m getting pretty sick of Diggs.

Hopefully but I can’t imagine a worst chiefs offense than this year. They were so beatable. 😞

That defense was injured all year. Plus everyone who plays in Miami is soft. I don’t know who better they are going to get for DC but that defense is loaded with talent. He literally would last 3 seconds on the job market. He’s a weenie but is a top 5 playcaller.

Weirdo but great hire for them. He gets to retire in SoCal and people make care about that irrelevant team. Herbert’s stats are going to drop big time but that could be a dangerous team pretty soon.

With Hill (he was hurt), it does think that maybe the smaller number 1s can be neutralized in the playoffs. Personally, I always prefer the Mike Evans type but with the new rules, smaller route runners can dominate. But when the games become more physical, it would be nice to that number 1 guy who is open even when he isn’t open.

There was not one instance this year where Allen’s oline was as bad as Mahomes was in that SB.

The problem with is with how sensitive some are, if you say Mahomes would have won SBs here, you will get labeled as an Allen hater, when this has zero to do with Allen. The nfl league is mahomes and everybody else. IMO (and most non bills fans), Mahomes is one of the great qbs ever. He might be only qb who could have carried that KC offense with a Gabe Davis type rookie wr (Rice), literal garbage WRs, and declining Kelce to the title game. Allen is great as well. But it’s Mahomes and everyone else. and I think the Ravens will win. But the fact this pretty garbage KC team is even close shows his greatest. No other qb beats us on Sunday.

Mahomes was amazing in that TB Super Bowl considering how bad their o line play was.

Yeah, the two time MVP qb isn’t a huge part of the reason they are there. I get this is coping but putting Mahomes down to cope is a wild move. There are zero other fanbases that would try to discredit how great he is.

Kelly was an awful postseason qb. His ego shirk have had Thurman getting 30 Carries that game and had the giants adjust their defense.
