Raiders are open to trading Davante Adams
C.Biscuit97 replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Good points but I think we get hung up on draft picks sometimes. I would say for his strengths, Beane and company are weakest at drafting WRs and DEs. So if it took a 1st, which would almost be a 2nd, for one of the best ones in the league, I think you really have to think about it. It’s one thing if you’re the panthers but we have SB dreams. I also like the talent of Watson but he’s made of glass. -
KS has been coach of the year twice and went to the playoffs with Joe Flacco last year. I guess I’m not getting what you think a great leader is as a nfl coach now. Reid literally had Taylor Swift’s boyfriend shove him in the SB and has a team that gets in legal trouble all the time (including his son coach). I would argue that doesn’t make for great leadership. I think the days of Belichick (who was awful at the end) are kinda done. I used to think college was where the coaches get to be dictators but I don’t even know if that’s the case anymore with NIL and transfers. I think the MM is going to be the archetype of coaches going forward. Well Tua won’t be out of the league if he didn’t have that concussion.

Agree 100%. It’s an all in move. Would you give up a 1st? I would. -
I think a lot of offensive coaches are like that though. Does anyone think Zac Taylor or Kevin Stefanski are great leaders? Also, I don’t know if Reid is known as a great leader or disciplinarian. He just has great schemes and doesn’t micromanage his talent. He made Tua into the leading passer in the nfl for one. I think he is one of the best offensive coaches in the nfl.

This early season victory lap threads always turn out great. hopefully we can bump this after he makes a huge play in a playoff game. -

I remember when we tried to trade for crazy AB and he didn’t want to play with 2nd year Allen. if you are a receiver who doesn’t want to play with Allen over Carr (Rodgers is kinda washed but I get that more), you are flat out insane. -
Worst FA signing in Bills history. Dude just runs around the edge 10 times a game. put Mack Hollins at DE. He has the size and probably could make as much of an impact there as he does at receiver.

You’re happy that Tua got a concussion? bad mojo.

100+ pages here we come!!! and for a good guy who doesn’t get in trouble, he’s kinda of annoying. He forced his way out in GB, got a huge contract, and has just moped the entire time. I know the Raiders are a joke but this whole “I’m the only one who wants to win” (see Diggs, Stefon) would oiss me off if I was a teammate. that said, I would take him in a second and even offer a 1st. He’s exactly what we need. -
I mean how else was this poll going to go on a Bills board? 😆 I think they both have big games and Diggs the player (not the attitude) is a big loss for us (we have a bunch of 3s and 4s who would be so much better in different roles). But instead of making it a contest better a qb and a wr, this is a monster game. We beat teams with a combined 2-10 record and got stomped by the Ravens. To win in Houston, with all the hype, would be a monster statement win. Imagine if you could bet on this 😆. Allen does have a receiving td in Houston though!

But they get all the calls!!!! 😉

He’s so talented and it doesn’t seem like he’s ever going to reach what he could be. and yes, I have him in multiple fantasy leagues.
-
Again, teams that win a lot, get praised a lot. This conspiracy would mean more if it was the Panthers or something.
-
Welp another made up post by irrational fans. They just called a penalty to extend a falcons drive
-
There’s literally a mixtape of Allen flopping. All QBs do it.
-
Agreed. They had been so bad with wr picks before him too.
-
What a loser for praising the back to back SB champs!
-
1 - KC had a better offense under him than Nagy 2 - getting paid million of dollars to live in one of the best areas of the country. What a loser!
-
Malik Willis is also in the way to be 2-0
-
Even though he went to a terrible hs, I root for Buffalo dudes. But he seems like he’s trying to be this hard ass and I don’t buy it all. also, whoever decided to pay Jones should have gotten fired the second they gave him that contract.
-
Eh, he couldn’t beat out Clifford at PSU who is pretty garbage. He had major turnover issues in college and is already like 25. I never go the appeal. Plus, he is pretty muscular for a b, which weirdly is a bad thing because it misses up their mechanics. not a fan.

I would be so much richer if I allowed myself to bet unders haha.

Caleb Williams is off to a rough rookie start

Love the wild assumptions after two games of a 21 year old playing the hardest job in sports for one of the worst franchises for a qb. I think he’s going to be a star and even though it wasn’t great in Houston, he hung in there against a brutal pass rush from a really good defense. It’s a fair point. But I think teams think it’s harder to find an elite Wr than a OT. Also, a great wr can help with pass blocking because teams aren’t as quick to blitz or send as many pass rushers. Plus, the chemistry Chase and Burrow had. -
EJ probably was never going to be good enough. But Marrone gave him Nate Hackett in his first nfl job, both the OV and QB coach. EJ never had a chance. Back then, we also probably would have laughed to think that the DC EJ has his best nfl start against would one day be one of the best coaches in Bills history. Welcome to the nfl now.

Josh Allen, committed singles hitter (The Athletic)

I was a Jaurin apologist but if you look at his rosters, him getting 7 wins out of Edwards, Losman, Anthony Thomas, Kelsay was an amazing coaching job. along with Allen being patient in the 2 high S look, I do wonder if we ever have the speed to attack vertically anyways. The deep ball really has not been a part of offense.
