  3. Its telling me "Sorry, we could not find a member using those log in details." Even though I just reset my password.
  4. Take him. Put him on the Practice Squad. Let him play in NFLE next year. Let him dominate, trade him for a 2nd or 3rd round pick.
  5. For every "Expert" there is another one. Take a look at this mock by THe Sporting News. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=AhgL...v=tsn&type=lgns 1.16 Donte Whitner, S. He has visited the team twice, which is unheard of. It's time for Miami to get some good young defenders. 1.26 John McCargo, DT. They could go for a linebacker, such as Carpenter, but this team never has too many defensive linemen. The most likely scenario is the Bears will trade down. 1.31 Greg Jennings, WR. A cornerback like Ashton Youboty can't be dismissed. A trade down is possible. So...according to this "expert" we got 3 guys worthy of 1st round selection. Think of it this way. We traded our 2nd rounder and both of our thirds for 2 additional picks in the first round. That make you feel better? You cant knock the players we got. at the end of the day, we turned 4 picks in the first 3 rounds into 3 players with first round talent. I agree our draft management was poor. But the outcome is satisfactory. Without seeing them play a down I give Marv and Co. an 'A' for player selections and a 'D-" for draft management.
  6. possible BPAs. Demarius Williams, WR Max Jean Gilles, OG Gabe Watson, DT Orien Harris, DT Ko Simpson, S
  7. We have to go offense here. We have done enough with our D for now. If we do go D, I like Orien Harris, Gabe Watson or Ko Simpson. But offense is where it is at right now, and I like Max Jean Gilles.
  8. a) Rucker is gone. b) Who says Giles wont be there at #8? 2nd round talent, he slipped this far, slipping 7 more picks is NOT out of the question. c) KR? We have 8000 guys who can return kicks on this team. No need to draft a designated KR. My hopes 4.8) Max Jean Gilles 5.1) Brandon Marshall 5.8?) Guy Whimper 6.8?) Matt Bernstein 7th rounders - A couple of guys who can play special teams
  9. Well, in fairness if you are not high on Furgeson, which he apparently is not, then selecting him #4 is a bad bick in your mind.
  10. DT McCargo/Anderson DT Tripplett DE Schoble DE Kelsay/Denny LB Spikes LB Fletcher LB Posey/Crowell CB Clements CB McGee CB Youboty S Vincent S Whitner Cant argue much with that. I think we came close to fixing our Defense in one day.
  11. Gotta be something under the surface here. Undisclosed injury, character, etc.
  12. First round talent in the 3rd round. Cant go wrong...Dont really need a CB though.
  13. even though he turned out to be good, it was a reach pick. They could have moved down and still gotten him. Same here. Whittner can be a HOF safety and it doesnt change my opinion that this was a bad pick.
  14. Thats possible...but i think this is more likely 2 NYJ - Bush 3. TEN- VY 4. NO - Brick 5. GB - Hawk 6. SF - Davis 7. Oak - Huff
  15. Does Berm still have the same "Cab driver" now that TD is gone? Hmm..i wonder.
  16. for 50 million dollars you can call me whatever you want to.
  17. Thats what I have been saying all day. There is better than 50/50 chance brick falls IF the picks stay as they are However, i think its likely in the next 15 minutes or so, the saints move down...and will take brick at 4 or wherever.
  18. Not usually...but in this case, Bunkley is probably on our short list of players we like.
  19. Doesnt seem like a tough situation to rectify. Draft Bunkley, if Justice is on the board at 14, do the trade...if not, simply keep Bunkley.
  20. Bills, Eagles Trade? A rumor out of the Philly area says that the Bills and Eagles may be working on a draft day deal. The Eagles are known to want to move up, while the Bills wouldn't mind moving back. If a deal is made the Bills would move back six spots to #14 and get the Eagles 2nd rounder according to one report. The Eagles aren't sure they want to part with the 2nd rounder. Here's the catch, Philadelphia covets getting Brodrick Bunkley the guy supposedly the Bills want. One report says the Bills secretly want another player that will be there at 14, so they don't mind doing the deal, getting another pick, and losing out on Bunkley. Time will tell. ...I like it. (depending on who is there at #8)
  21. While yesterday I thought us getting brick was pretty likely, today I am not so sure with Williams going to Houston. If Bush goes to New Orleans, I still agree. I think we have a good chance at Brick. But, if (as I suspect) Bush goes #2 to some team other than NO, all bets are off. Worst case scenario, Jets get Bush and Leinert falls to us at #8. That means that Ngata or Huff is likely off the board AND we are tempted to take another QB. Also, disaster scenario, New England brough in Javon Walker this week.
  22. Not that funny actually. I only watched the first minute or so and..LAME.
  23. Do you read my posts?! It seems logical to name the CVN-21 the Enterprise and simply retire the current one and replace it with the CVN-21.
  24. More than anything I am putting this here to be able to come back and see how I did... 1. Houston - Bush 2. New Orleans - Mario Williams 3. Tennessee - Vince Young 4. New York Jets - Matt Leinert 5. Green Bay - AJ Hawk 6. San Fransico - Vernon Davis 7. Oakland - Michael Huff 8. Buffalo - D'Brick (yes, i do think this is likely.) 9. Detroit - Winston Justice 10. Arizona - Cutler 11. St. Louis - Ngata 12. Cleveland - Bunkley 13. Baltimore - Ernie Sims 14. Philadelphia - Chad Jackson 15. Denver - Santanio Holmes 16. Miami - Jimmy Williams 17. Minnesota - Chad Greenway 18. Dallas - Wimbley 19. San Diego - Cromartie 20. Kansas City - Johnathan Joseph 21. New England - Tye Hill 22. San Fran - Demarco Ryans 23. Tampa - Winston 24. Cincinatti - Youboty 25. NY Giants - Manny Lawson 26. Chicago - Davin Joseph 27. Carolina - Deangelo Williams 28, Jacksonville - Jason Allen 29. NY Jets - Lawrence Maroney 30. Indianapolis - Bobby Carpenter 31. Seattle - Donte Whitner 32. Pittsburgh - Mangold
