Yes, lindell made 86% of his FGs...but this stat is decieving. Statistics can be decieving. Ever remember a math teacher telling you that? Whats so decieving about that stat? Well, for starters he only attempted THREE field goals all season longer than 40 yards. THREE. and he made one of them. The year before, he tried 9 of them. He made 3. He has lost the confidence of the coaching staff. They wont even let him try a 40-45 yard field goal. If I have to sit there and watch us punt from the 25 yard line again I am going to scream. I dont blame Mularkey. I blame Lindell. Yes, Bring in Brien (or really anyone). At least somone new will have the chance to suceed here. Lindell wont because his confidence is shot.

In fairness to ESPN, and all the folks involved with the production, this is a HUGE LIVE undertaking. Live TV is the hardest thing to do in the industry. Combine that with 10 straight hours of live coverage and you have any broadcasters nightmare. Look how dan rather holds up on election nights! Whomever said to get rid of some people, I disagree. They need to take turns. They need more people. Dig up Tom Jackson or Kenny Mayne or someone and let them take a turn anchoring the desk for an hour. Let Micheal Irvin swap out with Tori Holt. Mix it up some. Let them take a break and be fresh when they come back. Also, there is absolutly no excuse for not showing the picks. They did well the first 2 rounds, but after that they were terrible. Commercials happen. You have to expect that. But when you come back from comercial, if you missed a pick, cover it! Tell me who went. This is the NFL draft! If im watching during round 6, you can rest assured its because i want to see who is drafted and not to watch you rehash whether green bay made the right decision taking rodgers for the 457th time. When I have to sit at my computer listening to the podium audio and refreshing NFL.com to see who is picked, things have gone too far. I agree Jansen did a good job. This is kinda a tryout for a future career after you retire. TKO did it last year, Trent Green and tori holt this year. I like it actually. It adds a differnet flavor, and you see these guys in a different (and usually good) light. Besides, the more guys that try out, the more likely it is we might never need to look at micheal irvin again. Bring the ticker back. This is the NFL DRAFT. I want to see who is drafted. If I go to the bathroom and come back, and miss a pick or two, i want to know about it. If i have to wait for you to scroll through some random order of teams to find out who went number 241 and 242, and dont even know who those teams are, im not going to be happy and im going to look it up on nfl.com I dont give the coverage an F. But its definatly not an A either. I go with a C-. A lot of room for improvement, but given the extremely difficult task they are faced with every year, its impressive they do it this well.

You could pry vanderjact away from IND without much problem. Same goes for Doug Brien from NYJ. Someone will come up better than lindell (who isnt?), but will we want to pay for them and pay dead cap on lindell. thats the issue.

Weaknesses: Lacks ideal athleticism. Is quick in the short area but the more space he's in the stiffer he looks. His hips lack fluidity and he has trouble changing directions quickly enough. He struggles to recover from false steps and he has marginal speed. He is limited in terms of his range in zone coverage and he also would be a liability in man-to-man coverage against quicker and faster NFL RB's. Overall: Ezekiel became the first Northeastern player to ever earn All-Atlantic 10 honors as a freshman in 2001, when he played in all but two games and finished with 82 tackles, nine tackles for loss and three sacks. He led the conference in tackles in 2002 with a school-record 145. He started all 12 games as a junior in 2003 and finished with 140 tackles, 10.5 TFL and 5.5 sacks. As a senior in 2004, Ezekiel finished sixth in DI-AA with 122 total tackles, eight TFL and 2.5 sacks. He finished his career as a three-time first-team All-Atlantic 10 honoree. Ezekiel, who played the last five games of the 2002 season with a broken thumb, is one of the toughest linebackers in this class. He has great size and strength. Also, while he doesn't have good top-end speed, he does move well laterally and shows good short-area quickness. Ezekiel's NFL potential is limited by his below average speed and overall lack of ideal athleticism in coverage. However, he has enough experience, size, strength, toughness and quickness to serve as a backup ILB that contributes on special teams in the NFL. We think he's a great value in the final three rounds of the upcoming draft and is the type of player that NFL organizations should want on their roster.

Keep in mind each team has 15 minutes...with 4 or 5 comercial breaks an hour, and 4 to 5 picks an hour its likely the majority of teams have commercials during their picks. I think it just seems like they do it only to the bills, but in reality, its about every team/

Sadly, this is what we have been saying all along. Truth is, Rodgers dropped to #24 and he was the 2nd QB taken. So unless SF had him (JP) ranked higher than alex smith (who knows)...he would have dropped to us at #20. The question we need to start asking in the final analysis of this trade is this: Would you rather have a 2nd round pick in 2004 and Aaron Rogers, or JP Losman and no 2nd round pick. Its a tough call....But the cards fell with JP, and I am more than happy with that.

MM: We like JP because he worked in a pro style offense last year....With the exact same terminology. TD: JP is a good fit because he worked for an outstanding head coach with a good offense in a good program last season. Reporters: What was it like when you heard your name called. No clue what they wanted to accomplish. Me thinks they were bored yesterday and wanted to do something to relieve some stress.

The reason is that Demarcus Ware was projected, by almost all accounts, to be drafted AFTER the cardinals picked. Picking him early, just moves the running backs down the board, one may fall to arizona. Also, ESPN radio said Pollock might also go #3, and I just heard this reported on ESPN as well. Should be interesting

They were saying there is a good chance Demarcus Ware goes #3 assuming Alex Smith and Braylon Edwards are 1/2. This could be trouble for trading travis. This would allow one of the big 3 backs to fall to Arizona. I dont see how ware is #3...but I guess Cleveland has him pretty high
