  1. Sorry, thought you caught me with my binoculars looking across the street. My bad.
  2. The one hitting the 3 pointers.
  3. I don't like cats, either.
  4. So much for Sarama.
  5. Yeah, whadda ya gonna do.
  6. Maybe so. I'll take my version of reality over yours any day of the week. And my version of reality is pretty sound. Not a flame-but I often wonder where your synapses got misrouted.
  7. Kind of makes you wonder, doesn't it? Some people think that a pro athlete has permission to machine gun nuns at a convent if they feel they were "dissed." I don't know about the rest of you, but if I were given the opportunity to make 8 million a year to play a game, I can't think of ANY circumstance that would cause me to jeopardize my good fortune.
  8. I'm definitely not writing off the Pittsburgh game. Cincy handled them fairly well. I see the Bills D matching up pretty well with them. My fear is the Bills choking against someone like San Fran.
  9. It's about time that somebody had the nuts to do something like this. You ever hear the guy talk? "I'm a man and a man can should do what he wants..." There is no, repeat, no excuse for a player going into the stands and wailing away on the spectators. The spectators that provoke crap should be arrested and banned from attending any games. Someone making 10 million a year to bounce an orange ball around a hardwood floor assumes a role, and acting like a 10 year old playground bully isn't it.
  10. I hate everybody.
  11. The book is very good. I mention the movie because it gives a good visual impression of what Savannah is like. Might be one of the most eccentric towns in America.
  12. Point taken. I can only imagine how long my 5'9" 160 pound butt could avoid trouble.
  13. Yeah, some of those pocket protectors are really wild.
  14. FWIW, Buffalo is a major point of entry into the US that often gets overlooked because, well, it's Buffalo. WNY receives a lot of "quiet" attention in terms of homeland defense and homeland security. Things should be a little more scrutinizing there than in say, St. Louis.
  15. Uh...Rich...look in the mirror lately? You don't exactly look like a likely target.
  16. One of our not so best kept secrets. I LOVE that town. Looking forward to when I can move back. I recommend renting "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil". It's uncannily accurate as to how crazy that place is. And a beautiful city to boot.
  17. You might want to wear a scarf so the rope doesn't chafe. Try out Savannah sometime. EVERY Wed (hump day) is a party night. Great mix of traditional south and strangeness (partially thanks to SCAD). Whether you wear cowboy boots or dress total goth with a bead in your lip, there's always a party somewhere. And beautiful, friendly women (if you don't mind women smarter than they look).
  18. Does Amherst still have a problem with deer jumping through picture windows? Seems mighty dangerous to me.
  19. I'll move back so you can get back into the top ten.
  20. Buffalo has experimented and finally become successful with creating a line and a scheme that provides a decent pocket for a stagnant quaterback. Since everyone seems to be figuring that JP will start next season, will the line have to be "redesigned" to provide a moving pocket for a mobile QB? Are we going to have to go through another 5 game learning curve or does it not really matter?
  21. My usually worthless .02 cents. Whether it was legal or not, it looked cheap. The dumb part to me is that it was out there for God and everybody to see. Hard to hide when you're a corner on a WR. The Bills D plays plenty tough not to have to resort to that crap. Ask Faulk.
  22. It seems that in general, many of the people who are the most vocal about their "rights" are those who are not, and would not place themselves in a position to risk anything for them. Makes it easy to stand on the soapbox.
  23. I'll forgo what I was going to say about the south, as that is my home, and I do take offense. Can't reason with ignorance. Everyone needs to come more to the center. The harder the "libs" (perceived as the blue) push a splintered, special interest agenda-the harder those that want some sort of a moral and cohesive base to their society are going to push in the opposite direction. The key difference is, in my opinion, that the more conservative factions tend to me more supportive of what is good for the group as a whole, at least in their perception. The liberal faction concentrates on what is good for the individual, irregardless of what it does to the fabric of their society. They then back up and try to justify why their view is good for the whole, and it generally amounts to "what does it hurt?"
  24. We sneak into Thailand to evaluate toilet paper next week. Very hush hush.
  25. You can assume whatever you want to assume.
