  5. Seems like there has been a trend over the last several years for a lot of teams to tank after playing the Bills, whether Buffalo won or not. anyone remember that? What have been the W-L ratios prior to Buff and post Buff of this years opponents? (NE excluded, we grade on a curve)

  8. I can't go to NY. I don't think the staute of limitations has run out.
  9. Didn't we have a similar conversation when the price of stamps went up? What's a few percent?
  10. Tyson Isn't it time for him to switch meds again?
  11. I often hear promotional commercials for Buffalo-Niagara Falls here in DC, trying to get people to move business to the area. They actually sponsor time on NPR. Uh huh.
  12. Passing through. I was very impressed with the lifestyle, scenery, weather and especially, the cost of living. It is slightly more dangerous in terms of crime than it was a few years ago, but where isn't? Plenty of jungle to lose a body in.
  13. No, they get lost too often.
  14. Damn. We can't even type c.r.a.s.h?
  15. The problem is primarily availability. There is only so much industrial capacity that specializes in producing the type of armor required. Steel plates hung over doors is not going to defeat an RPG, which is designed to penetrate that very thing. It is being produced and sent as fast as it can be made-there just aren't that many people making it. As I posted above, cargo trucks weren't designed with the current Iraq scenario in mind. Retrofitting armor when the production capacity is geared to providing armor to Combat vehicles will take time. There is also a Rosen program going on with IED detection and defeat. I don't care what you hang on the side of a fuel truck, 200 pounds of RDX going off 3 feet away is going to make it turn into tiny pieces. Still, there are hazards and always will be. No one wants to go over there and get hurt, but it's going to happen to some.
  16. Where's old Ted Marchibroda when you need him?
  17. More likely she's trying to figure out a way to slap me upside the head for wasting this much time on a message board.
  18. It's a thing you fill with helium, make toy blimps out of and float them out the window.
  19. Just something to be aware of as you do your Christmas shopping. ALL BEWARE Keep a watch out for people standing near you in the checkout line at retail stores, restaurants, grocery stores, etc who have a camera cell phone in hand. With the camera cell phones, they can take a picture of your credit card, which gives them your name, number, and expiration date. CBS reported this type of identification theft is one of the fastest growing scams today. Be aware of your surroundings, forward to all your friends and family.
  20. SOS International This is something my company uses when we travel overseas. You, or anyone else puddle jumping might want to check it out.
  21. Someone that puts them all to shame. Hope she doesn't mind me joking with the boys.
  22. I've been up to the Kreuzberg Monastary, near Gersfeld and Fulda, where they make world renowned monks beer, playing my guitar, singing old Beatles tunes, with a young Christy Brinkley looking German Gal sitting on my lap in her biker red leather skin tight suit, and the guy she came with prodding me for another song. You'll have a good time. Times couldn't have changed that much.
  23. You'll have a good time. I just HATE Europe weather in February. But I had to camp in it too. I also remember having a German Gasthouse owner fixing me the best ham and eggs, with potato pancakes I ever had. With Kumbacher Beer at 6 in the morning. Enjoy.
