I just need to get this off my chest. You guys aren't arrogant at all. Seriously. You guys are as devoted Bills fans as I am and you like to take the positive first. I really appreciate being able to come here and talk football with a group of witty and humorous people. Since coming to this board I've changed alot of my approach as a fan of this team. Actually the Sabres at about 23.7 million. Darcy said something about it this weekend and that he believes the team will spend the money they saved on Satan to land a top notch defensemen. This is the new NHL and I truly believe small market teams will have a shot at top level talent. No one is going to get the max aside from maybe Forsberg or Niedermayer. My instincts tell me that money is going to Alex Zhitnik. If he's not interested move on to another solid minute eater d man. One other prediction. Marty Biron or Mika will be gone by opening night.

I couldn't disagree more. If anything I believe he is surrounded with so much talent it would be hard not to be good. Think about it: How many times are people going to be able to match up with us in our offensive sets? You can't put double coverage on him or Lee Evans every play due to the fact you have a back that's going to punish you in McGahee. You also can't cheat your safeties with two talented wr's. Throw in the ability to put a dynamic player like Roscoe Parrish in the slot to put more stress on your db's and safeties. So, then what are you going to try to eliminate first? The league knows about Willis and knows that to beat the Bills, you start with #21. Most people are going to try to make Losman make mistakes. I just think he has too many weapons to not be able to complete the obligatory 5 yard check down route. How many times have you seen Eric Moulds catch a ball on a quick out and turn it into 15? Physical one on one situations are his forte. Moulds is good for 70 and a 1000 for another year if he stays healthy. Book it. T_R

That's yet to be seen. J.P may like to run but his durability hasn't truly been tested yet. Is the broken leg a sign of things to come or a freak accident? Who knows, but for me, I'm praying it's a one time thing. Management has told this kid a thousand times to get out of bounds or slide. I think that coupled with last year's injury will be more than enough to motivate our qb to stay away from dangerous situations. I think for KH to outplay J.P he'd have to seriously throw 30 touchdowns while Losman threw 20 interceptions and fumble 11 times. In my opinion, Holcomb will play well and we will all really appreciate him. However, we all know this J.P's team for better or worse this year. Only way Holcomb starts is if Losman suffers an injury.

J_B you are right. I hadn't thought of it from that angel but you are totally right that Holcombe needs reps too. 65-30-5 is what the percentage should be. KH will need time but I would still rather we really focus on making JP all he can be this year. Holcombe isn't a young guy coming in either. I suspect it won't take long for the veteran to become fluent in this offense.

I hope he takes 80% of the snaps. No lie, I seriously hope he gets that much pt. I know we run a greater risk of getting him injured but I want this guy to take 100 plays before the season. A green qb needs as many reps as possible. 3 quarters every game.
