Sabres to Bills: Your percentage interest
The_Real replied to The_Real's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Baseball has had a major resurgence in the last couple of years. Statistically almost every major league ball park is up in attendance. I'd have to say Baseball might have pulled right up next to football. When you think great rivalry in pro sports what do you think of? New York Yankees/Boston Red Sox would likely be the number one answer and that alone has generated a TON of interest nationwide. -
Sabres to Bills: Your percentage interest

As I've gotten a little older I have found myself really enjoying hockey games. It's not to say Football doesn't rule my life from September to January, I just really like the game of hockey. Plus, guys can beat the sh-- out of each other when ever their team needs a boost. I love that about hockey. Could you imagine the Bills down by 7 late in the third quarter and we put Takeo on the field to pound someone? That would be really fuggin cool. T_R -
Did I miss something or was that humor?

For the love of all things good, please let her stay. Unless ofcourse you can find another motion avatar with out a top on. Then, I'd say I'm open for change.

55/45 Bills is mine. Everyone says that this is Bills country and rightfully so. My curiousity is how close is the comparison to you. I love the Bills and Sabres just about equally with a slight edge to the Bills. Yet, once football season is over I get really excited to concentrate on hockey. Does one really dominate the other to you? If so, why.

LAMP: I need help finding my father.

That is exactly what I'm afraid of Rueben. Yet, I'm going to be 27 and I think I can handle it. I want to know the truth and that's why I've intensified my search. t-r -

I have had a life full of ups and downs man. Most of the time, you can't control what you go through. I lost my step father when my house burned to the ground in 1990. That was in Clarence Center on Goodrich road. Anyone from the area might remember. For every negative there is a positive. -
Great review. Tell me why you aren't sold on Stamer. I watched him and thought he imposed his will fairly well out there. t-r Oh yeah, you couldn't be more correct about Ritzzman. That kid looks fantastic and I'd like to see him against even second stringers.

So here is the deal. My father's name is Jose Morejon. He came over to the United States from Cuba in the early 60's. He moved to NYC and then went into the army right after highschool. To make a long story short, he was murdered while on active duty in 1980 in North Carolina or so I have been lead to believe. I can not find any information what so ever on him and have not been able to in my 27 years of life. I've contacted Fort Bragg, where he was killed, and they won't give me the time of day even though I have explained the situation to them. I've called the District Attorney's office in Fayetville, NC but with out the name of the person who did the crime they have not been able to help me. -Ancestry.com: Nothing Now I'm getting personal here so please, don't be a d!ck, this is all totally true. The story my mom has told me my whole life is that he was somehow involved with drugs. She also told me he was having an affair and that the women he was having the affair with was the one that killed him. No one can tell me her name. No one will tell me the whole story. I'll be 27 this sunday. I was 2 when he was murdered. I just want to know the whole story and to read the court case. Really just about anything. I couldn't be more sincere so please if you think this is me being b.s, don't be insensitive. I've tried everything. I just have no other alternatives anymore. I'd appreciate anything. anything. t-r

Disagree, with that entirely. Go back and take another look J_B. That ball hit him right in the hands and he was the only one who had a chance at the ball. From my years in football they always said if you get both hands on the ball you should catch it. He should of caught the ball. No excuses. I've seen this guy drop passes like that for too long. It's time to cut him. t-r

They said 54 the first time, and 53 the second. I won't question a purdy lady tho
-
The Bills wouldn't even put him on the field last year. Now he kicks a 53 YARD FIELD GOAL? Alright, who is it?

Went to the game tonight. A couple of things

What safety? (I pretend that penalized plays never happened) What Drew Haddad fumble? -
J.P really impressed me. He's got a rifle and seemed to be a bit more accurate. No balls bounced to any recievers. If he improves like this each game of the preaseason I'll feel comfortable with him this season. Did KGB even play because our "questionable" left tackle shut his arse down. Gandy played pretty well and only Bennie Anderson took one holding call with the first teamers. How does Drew Haddad not make an NFL roster? Not super fast not real big, but the guy just makes plays. Josh Reed dropped a td and every body was ticked. Nice to see J.P come right back to him. Aiken was a no show today. Mr. Wilson made a real nice catch. On D we toned it down a lot. Alot of the blitzing was taken out of the game plan. I have a feeling we are going to have a love/hate relationship with Jabari Greer. He breaks on the ball really well but I think with a qb that has a good pump fake, he's going to get smoked. I hope they cut Josh Reed and Coy Wire. Both of them are deadwood in my opinion. Get them out of here and give some different guys a shot. That's my observations. One more thing, what happened to Moulds does anyone know? Thanks. t-r

WGR...I can't believe how awful it is

Hnmmmmm. My station will be called The Real Sportstalk. What do you think? T_R -
Yes, he is worth top dollar. He shuts down virtually everyone he lines up against and is a phenomonal punt returner. He deservers to get paid. I don't think he will because cb's are expensive these days, but I sure wish he'd stay a Bill for a long long time.

This thread is breasts..... NOT

I should get to the end of a thread before I put my foot in my mouth.

I said I played from 8-12 and it wasn't allowed. I knew it. Na na
-
That was stupid, but it was funny.
-
I played in a Lou Gehrig league in East Amherst when I was 8-12 and there wasn't any stealing bases or leading off. There may very well be another league out there that does allow it, but I am certain there are some that don't. The point is either way as a radio host your job is to encourage people to call in and feel like part of the 'team'. Not be an arrogant ass and treat people like there opinions are worthless. If that were the case they shouldn't have phone lines to call in. t-r

Sign me up. I couldn't agree more. t-r
