  1. Ahhhh, Young love. Tell him to read this. 86% of marriage between people under 20 ends miserably. Do you know why? #1 reason is money. Good college = more money = better job = better way of life = happy wife. Defeating those odds is possible but very very hard. Don't be an idiot and finish the next four years of your life with a quality university. Don't be stupid man, you only do this once. T_R
  2. Sam Adams Cherry Wheat, RedStripe or the trainwreck ale at Pearl Street. All are pretty good. T_R
  3. Ken Griffey jr is the only conceivable player that I think didn't use steriods. He gets a pass....
  4. Short and sweet. The top 300 major league baseball players used steriods in the late 90s and early 00's. Those of you who don't thinks so just like to believe that guys like McGwire or Sosa are too good of people to actually use steriods. Jason Giambi, Sammy Sosa, Ken Camminiti, Rafael Palmero, Pudge Rodriguez, Gary Sheffield, Jose Canseco and the list goes on... If you are going to beat Bonds up everyday share the spotlight with the rest of the players in MLB. I'm not making excuses for Bonds and it's already been out there that he used them. Yet it's also a known fact that McGwire and Palmiero did with out admitting to it either. Why don't people ride them the same way? Bonds used Steriods and so did the rest of baseball. Leave him alone and blame the game for making the home run the most important thing to a dying sport. Blame MLB for not testing earlier and catching ALL of the cheaters. Hell, blame barry bonds...Just not only Barry Bonds. Guy has a family and deserves to be left alone. For 4 years he's been abused. Let this crap die already. T_R
  5. I think the NFL banned teams from doing that anymore. Let me look for the article.... T_R
  6. I agree. Thanks for stopping by and blaming the people who have done everything possible with in their means to keep the team running. The_Real
  7. Ralph annoys me lately and all of the negativity that he created this past week in Western New York made me feel like I've had enough. If they leave I'm ready for it and not going to lose sleep over it. If Ralph is going to make threats so that he can raise prices, save me the dramatics. Raise the prices and lets get on with it already. Whether it's ralph or the people he listens to, I've heard enough. All of the hoopla about his decision to stay or go is unnecessary. He's 87 and has lined his pockets with local money. The least he can do is not create a frenzy when all he really wants is more money. THAT IS WHAT THIS IS ALL ABOUT.... MORE MONEY! Somehow he could better the situation in 100 ways and instead he just whines. Make better decisions with personnel. Name the stadium hanes underwear stadium and create more revenue....SOMETHING. Just stop the drama please. People, I watch American Idol for drama (anyone else think Ace is gay?) I don't want it from my Football players, let alone the owner. T_R
  8. Split the uprights finkel, and stay a man. As for getting or staying rich, the guy is 87 years old, how much longer do you think he'll have to stay/get rich? When he dies and the team is sold, you don't think the 300 million+ the family gets for the team won't keep the family rich? Turn back to cnn, Terrorists are attacking! If you buy that, I also have some ocean front property in arizona. Also, friend made an invention, Vapooorizor stock is half price to anyone sending cash RIGHT NOW! T-R
  9. There is no way in a million years that Ralph Wilson or any of his cronies can convince me that the Bills are going to lose money this year. With the television contract, profit sharing, stadium revenue, merchandise revenue and all of the other things NFL teams have working in their favor, it's hard for me to believe that any team won't atleast break even. If any of this rhetoric were true more small market teams would be stepping up in support of Ralph. Have you heard any teams ownership agree with us? ANY? Last year the Bills made 10 million dollars, more than any of us will see in our lifetimes. In the past 40 or so years Ralph has lined his pockets with money of western new yorkers. His family, which doesn't even live in Buffalo, have lived a luxurious lifestyle off of our blue collar hard working community. So this year they may break even and they are going to act like idiots and declare the team in danger? He's posturing to move and if you don't think so you are fooling yourself. I truly believe he has lost it and is taking the guidance of his family which has publically said they have no interest in owning the Bills. Ralph was happy when he was tucking millions away and now that we are on some financial hardship, he isn't making promises? Here is an idea, name the stadium something that garnishes endorsements rather than after yourself. Don't take a 5 million cut for doing nothing but owning the team. Pay yourself well not like a king. Concentrate your energy on improving the roster and making key signings rather than getting the community in an uproar over your deluded unfinished thoughts. To me it's not a question of 'if' it's a question of 'when'. If that's how Ralph wants to play this community then f@$# him. I love the Bills as much as the next guy but that article today really made me angry. If the Bills can show me a 5 year history of losing money, I'll bite. If they tell me that they made 10 million last year but all of a sudden are now doomed, I'm pissed. I'm so angry with the Bills right now. Absolutely disgusted. T_R
  10. I heard we already have a fat guard starting. Also, didn't we already add 400 lbs of O line about a week ago? T_R
  11. With the #8 pick in the 2006 NFL draft, the buffalo bills sign quarterback vince young university of texas. Book it. T_R
  12. #8 Buffalo Bills take Vince Young. Book it. T_R
  13. Truer words were never spoken.
  14. Honestly, I don't think there is one premier defensive linemen in the draft. Haloti Ngata is a good player who will contribute but he's not going to demolish OL in the NFL. Someone needs to light a fire under his ass if they are to expect major production out of him and that scares me. Last thing we need on the Bills is someone who can't find motivation from whistle to whistle. The rest of the guys listed all have shortcomings one way or another so depending on them to make major contributions may be foolish. It would of made much more sense for the Bills to just be more active in FA when there were strong players available on the line. Marv blinked and everyone signed elsewhere. Larry over Sam is going to be a severe downgrade and to not resign Edwards makes it even worse. After they draft Vince Young in the first , they should look to address the lines the rest of the draft. I'm scared we may allow the most rushing yards and sacks in NFL history this year. T_R
  15. Out of curiousity, Beerme, are you a hater? T_R
  16. Bad way to build a team? Yeah.... It's always bad to take elite talent and build around...Predicting the way a qb is going to act or grow as a player is as much a crap shoot as drafting an offensive lineman with the #4 pick and watching him flounder....Cap isn't of the concern of the Bills this year, they already cut their 'star tackle and offensive linemen' losing about 10 million in dead cap space. Not to mention there starting dt and ss. If they were concerned with winning this year they wouldn't have made all of those cuts. By taking the best player offensively in the draft you allow yourself to cut the dead wood you have already been 'rumored' to want to do anyways. Losman is a good qb in my opinion, but will never get a fair shake in Buffalo. Nall has done nothing at any level to convince me he can be a great player in this league and he's already had a few seasons to try.
  17. Silly response. If this is the deep draft everyone says it is, we are going to get good talent through round 4 or 5. Seriously, look at the draft grades for the top 10 offensive and defensive lineman and you'll see that the #1 DL isn't graded that much higher than the number 8. On the OL, Brick is going to the Saints and Justice isn't #8 worthy. Not to mention the #2-11 OL aren 't that far apart in ranks either. Like I said I'm contradicting myself here because I know how big the holes are on both lines. I've said all along the trenches is where we need to go. However, I just think Vince Young is the 1b talent in the whole draft. He's going to be the improved version of Michael Vick and that's scary. He is a player that can do everything accept take a test. I'd like him on my roster and that's my opinion. T_R
  18. I have told myself and others that Bills have to address both of the lines before they go for specialty players. However, that line of thinking was based upon the idea that Young wouldn't be there. I know not many people are going to agree with me here but this kid has too much talent to let slide. Let J.P/Holcomb/Nall fight for the back up position and cut the odd man out. We are going to suck this year guys. No matter who we draft in the first round. Yet, I think we can all agree that quarterback is the most important position on any team. What if we could draft the most exciting player in the league? What if on Sunday, we get to watch 'vick' like plays coming from our quarterback? Biggest difference between Vick and Young is that Young can make all the throws with accuracy. Do you guys remember the Rose bowl? That was the best single game I've ever seen a player play. Seriously, he was heroic and fought his way to the national title in a game that no one thought he could win. He made great reads, great passes and great runs. The kid is a freak and probabily the best athlete at the qb position the NFL has ever seen. Bottomline is that he's a winner. Wonderlic sucked, what ever. He tore apart every defense he faced this year either on his feet or with his arm. I realize this is a pipe dream and it probabily won't happen, I just love the idea of his athletic talent on our team. J.P obviously isn't going to get a fair shake from the Bills. K.H is too old. Nall, while impressive in preseason, isn't going to win games the way that Vince Young will. With Young I think you have a player you can strap your offense to and let him lead. I like Vernon Davis. I REALLY like Ngata. However, if the best offensive talent short of Reggie Bush is there at 8, that's my choice. Flame away. T_R
  19. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnM6X-LqPKQ...20Steve%20Irwin It's pretty funny if you ask me. Good stuff! T_R
  20. I knew I was hopelessly in love with her the moment she looked at me. Thanks everyone. T_R
  21. That was friggin nasty. Don't ever do that to me again. T_R
  22. I make a habit of reading your posts lori. JoeSixPack was right this summer when he complemented your informative style of posting. Keep up the good work. By the way, who's your team? T_R
  23. Holy cow, I had a smile the size of the world on my face when we made eye contact. Seriously never knew what the hell people were talking about with the whole 'tears of joy'. Totally the most incredible experience. The respect I have for women changed a little bit too. How my 5 3 95 lb woman got that beautiful healthy 21 inch 7 lb 12 ounce girl out of her vagina I will never know. At one point I had to sit in a chair facing the wall so I didn't faint (I'm such a wimp, lol). Everything is healthy and good. Thanks for your prayers and keeping my little princess in your thoughts. Sounds silly that it would be important to me that you guys took the time to write a nice message here and there, but it does. So thank you sincerely from all three of us. Kelly (my girl) came online and read all of the nice messages you guys wrote and was touched. Seriously touched, and again I thank you. GOD (capitalize the whole thing) really blessed me with something special today. I'm so thankful for her life that I can't really imagine feeling any better than I do right now. All the thanks in the world. Desi aka The Real
  24. "You know how I know you are gay? Cause you like coldplay." Best line of the movie
  25. Man I've rolled around in bed for like 3 hours now. F@!#!$#@$. It's like Christmas morning when I was 8 years old preying to get my first Atari. Now I'm praying to god that everything works. Please god make everything work. T-R
