  1. I've met Derek Fine's mother and let me tell you THE WOMAN IS A SAINT!!!
  2. Pioli must disagree with Herm that , "YOU PLAY..TO WIN...THE GAME".
  3. Very selective diet, the man is an efficient machine who produces no wasteful byproducts. Scott Pioli is such an innovator that he is going green on even the most basic cellular level. That is what he learned from Parcells. Before that he hand-chiseled his own custom standing-man toilets out of Italian marble.
  4. Scott Pioli never sits, he always stands, even when he drives a car. It only serves to add to his mystique.
  5. Good, let them rule the West. Who cares, hopefully this further weakens New England. Eventually Belichik will either be unable to replace all these key guys or he'll just tire of it. Unfortunately it seems that many if not all of the Belichik coaching protegees are in no way comparable to the man himself. A dynasty can only survive for so long. I continue to await the crumbling of the Patriots evil empire.
  6. I agree that Gandy is and has been average. Average guys look a lot better in the NFC West though. As far as who would play LT if peters goes my guess is we would just move Langston there and add a lineman to play either RT or play RG with Butler moving to RT(Butler played tackle at Virginia so it makes some sense). As far as trading peters. I have mixed feeling about it. Part of me says that if you can get a 1st and a 3rd then you're in fine shape. The other part reminds me of how long we've been without a quality left tackle. Also its not like peters had all of his talent drained out of him. He's still clearly pretty good as evidenced by 2007. I'd probably listen to offers but try to sit on the situation as long as I could before it became detrimental.
  7. To paraphrase LenDale White.... Kurt Warner SUCKS!!! Seriously, if I had more time I would mock warner with revised lyrics to the song about how much Pearl Harbor (the movie) sucked from Team America. What is it about the dry desert air that makes him appear so damn good? 1. Two EXCELLENT recievers, forget Bruce and Holt, these guys make them look like amateurs. 2. Two more decent ---->good complementary recievers. 3. Ladies and Gentleman, THE NFC WEST aka the worst division in football. 4. Fantastic Head coach who realizes points 1-3. But i wish him all the luck in the world because at the end of the day he still has to go home to his Ellen-esque wife. I mean if she doesn't look like she's been playin "clamdigger" i don't know who does. Not to mention the little stunt she pulled in St. Louis getting on the radio and all that nonsense. Let me be the first(or maybe not) to say that if the Bills went out and signed Warner I would personally denounce my fandom. Hes a joke. Also to that guy with the stick in his ass. Nobody cares about who is offensive towards you or if you are offensive towards them here. Ok? The only reason the poster likely brought up your old posts is because you are a hypocritical douche bag. Get a life.
  8. Here is the scenario: My team came into the week (week one of our playoffs in a league where 4 out of 10 make it) as a heavy underdog. My opponent has very good matchups. His team includes potential high scorers such as : Aaron Rodgers, Portis, DeAngelo Williams, Boldin and Eli Manning. My matchups are also pretty good however I have a hole or two. Thankfully I started Colston and Pierre Thomas thursday netting me almost 50 points. The biggest problem I have is picking my second reciever. The options are as follows: 1. Santonio Holmes @ Baltimore 2. Kevin Walter v. Tennessee 3. Steve Breaston v. Minnesota The format is this: partial points count, 10 yards per point receiving or rushing, 6 points for a TD and .5 Pt. per Rec. Who would you choose?
  9. My guess is that the only time Crowell will step foot in Buffalo again is if his new team has an away game at the Ralph. The guy is probably on a beach somewhere right now sippin' Mai Tai's and Mojitos
  10. I dont know if watching JP for 3 more weeks is worth a few extra spots in the draft.
  11. I bought a lawyer milloy jersey on sale for about 30 bucks about a year before we cut him. Not a horrible purchase, but a forgettable player for us. However, my worst non-bills jersey is my New York Knicks John Wallace Jersey.
  12. Obviously once somebody reaches into the bag for a FAMILY GUY reference the thread must be closed since nothing else could possibly be comedically superior. All hail the FAMILY GUY!!!
  13. This is my way of taking back any nice thing I ever said about JP Losman and his abilities related to playing the game of Football. It has become so depressing to watch this guy I'm having a hard time even thinking about the game this weekend. Yet I know deep down that I will watch it anyhow.
  14. I remember seeing accross the bottom line on espn at one point that a guy on the Colorado Rockies had a guy on the DL (anal fissure). I found it funny that it was listed like that.
  15. I think that Ashton Youboty looks like the guys who played Marlo Stanfield on THE WIRE. Youboty = http://assets.buffalobills.com/uploads/new...8771C5DF324.jpg Jamie Hector AKA Marlo Stanfield = http://rws-blog.rhapsody.com/photos/uncate...ie_hector_3.jpg Also, I understand the comparison of Jay Z to Lee and the way they talk. Their voices sound similar and they way they pace their words is also similar.
  16. I think the top candidates for "surprise" cut are : Royal, Keith Ellison, Kirk Chambers (only because he has practiced with the first team, to me he doesn't look like an NFL player worthy of being out there) and maybe Reed (even though I do think he brings something to the table).
  17. I cant wait for the home preseason game, Im gonna get bunged up!
  18. Whitner is already paid extremely well. I agree with you completely about Edwards though. How would you react if Edwards did that, and then we wouldn't re-up his deal and instead traded him and re-signed JP on the cheap? (note: Im not a numbskull, I know this actually would never happen)
  19. I wouldn't be too worried about what Miami wanted, they are rebuilding and hes not a guy you want starting on a rebuilding team. Plus he's not a parcells guy, parcells loves to absolutely clean house when he takes over. On account of the fact that this seems like a response to the alvin bowen injury, I say that in all likelihood this makes our team better this year. Bowen surely could turn out to be a special teams ace in the future, but I understand our ST unit has a more complicated playbook than most and Spragan should be able to fill in there while providing better depth at the LB position. When a 5th round pick is the most significant injury through 10 days of camp, we're not doing too bad. Lets just keep our fingers crossed nothing crappy happens.
  20. Peters won't miss significant if any regular season time, just my prediction, mark it down. Guys hold out every year, dozens, and rarely does anyone miss gametime. Id say it creates more worries with a big guy but it never seemed to hurt Walter Jones any.
  21. Hate to beat a dead horse, but I agree with the other posters. Corner may be outplaying McKelvin but hes also been there a few more days and its McKelvins first work as a pro. Give the poor guy some time to get his feet wet. As far as worrying about when McKelvin is going to start, I am not. He will start when he's ready, Terrence and Jabari are formidable and we have plenty of depth. A corner is supposed to be arrogant and believe they can cover anyone, I feel it is important to ease him into the lineup as he gets more experience, no need to break him mentally. He might not recover for a while from that. Im also not worried about McKelvin having talent, because if the Bills thought enough to draft him as the top corner and most draft experts had him ranked #1 or 2 at his position he clearly has ability. A co-worker of mine whom I talked to today did say that he did not look as fast at camp as advertised, which I found interesting but am not too worried about. I only attended camp for about an hour last saturday and I don't even think he was there yet at that point. Thats about all I have to say about that.
  22. If they got more than a third it would be shocking. A third round pick is a fair price to pay for a one shot at a title.
  23. right around y2k there was this scrub lineman, i think he played in the nfc south somewhere but im not sure, named Wes Shivers. My college buddies and I all thought it was a hilarious name/picture and always would sign him to our one friends' madden teams(usually to max year deals unbeknownst to him) when we were doing franchise mode together. not the best football name, but one that brought me great laughter.
  24. I concur, seems to be a likely scenario to me
  25. It would be like me challenging michael jordan to 1 on 1 but mike lets me make up a few dumb rules so i cant complain when I get schillacked(dunno how to spell that one).
