The 17 million cap hit is the hit they would have taken if Manning had not resigned and rather simply played out the year as the "franchise" player. Everyone made a big deal about it but then right before free agency started he signed that absurd contract.

I believe we did challenge it and lost, but I'm not absolutely positive. I do believe the league apologized to us or something for it though.

Calm down a little, i remember about a year and a half to 2 years ago vincent making some really nice plays for philly, one especially where he laid out in the back of the end zone and picked it off. Is he still that guy? I dunno, but his record speaks for itself.

at the seahawks game last week every time my buddy's girlfriend got up we entered into an exchange about how hot the hawks cheerbabes were. At least from the stands they looked SMOKIN' but you couldnt see their faces even from the 20th row.

I second whoever said theyd have trouble picking a team in a pats/iggles super bowl, I hate them both, but I really really hate eagles fans bc my old roommate was one. They act like their team is so fantastic and have for years, even though the only thing they ever did was make it to ONE lousy super bowl and they lost it. At least the Bills can win conference championship games. An iggles SB win might make me swear off football.

no way we are going to land antonio gates, you know that the redskins would sign him for like 2892092 million, plus, I think Gates is only in his 2nd year, which i believe would mak ehim an exclusive rights free agent or restricted FA at the end of the year, so you know the Chargers wouldn't let him go for anything less than a 1st, not to mention he's their best reciever. On that list I like Andre Carter and Abraham even though our ends have played solid this year. Theres also a high number of above average but not great lineman.

Incorrect, Warren was drafted @ # 13 by the Pats, Haynes was picked at 14 by the Bears who traded out of the 4th spot in order to aqcuire Haynes and later on at #22 or 23, Rex Grossman(jets traded lavernious coles to redskins fo ra #1 and then traded up to pick dewayne robertson).

Having watched over half the Redskins games this year, I would be willing to say that Mark Brunell is just as bad if not worse than Drew, who is !@#$ing horrible. People wondered why Jax just "let him go". I wondered why Wash. would sign him toa 35 million dollar contract. He's garbage, washed up, done. It wasn't Brunell that made Jax go all those years, it was Jimmy Smith and Keenan(not to mention boselli, fred taylor etc.).

Drew's contract is as favorable as Rosie O'Donnell naked.

We saw how well that plan has worked for the last team that tried it.....
