This is what scounts inc. says: Name: Angelo Crowell Position: Linebacker Grade: 61 | Key Alert: Y Comment: Crowell is a quicker than fast tweener ILB/OLB. He is a little bit undersized as a MLB but that's the position he has the most upside because he has the agility, toughness and speed to become a very good backup and an outside chance of becoming a starter if his recognition skills, diagnose and angles improve greatly. Speed also gets him into some trouble in coverage when he's forced to turn and run. He is quick and has very good COD skills in the short-to-intermediate zones, but he's one of those LB's that will really struggle to open his hips to turn and run with faster RBs in man-coverage. He is very average as a blitzing linebacker. Lacks closing burst to the quarterback and is very average in terms of his pass rush moves once he's reached at the LOS. Also lacks great size. He may never be a starter in the NFL, but he has the quickness, athleticism, instincts and toughness to contribute on special teams and to develop into a great backup if he can regain his confidence and do a better job of adjusting in '04.

I dont know if he was a stud in college or not but i know he ran slow (like a 4.75), but was reputed as being somewhat speedy anyhow. Ill see if i can find a predraft report on him.

This is what I think will happen on draft day

"Braylon Edwards was arrested for smoking crack out of a prostitutes ass this week"-CNN "Edwards could drop as far as the 3rd round"-Kiper "with the 55th overall selection in the 2005 NFL draft, the Buffalo Bills select Braylon Edwards"-Tags Oh how i wish! -
lol, that's like 4 minutes away from my parents house. It just shows you what a moneymaker the plate is. So delicious, and in my estimate, no less than 1500 calories

I agree In fact right now Im trying to hold back an annoying counter-rant, but i think I've got it under control.

Sin This sucks, I have a feeling this will work out for them. The patriots tend to get every little bit of guys' talent. Unfortunately I always liked Terrell and never thought the bears were a good fit for him(since htey havent had a passing game in 5+ years). But now i hope he fails miserably.
-
If you dont mind my asking: Why are we trying to forget about Ben "winter" coates? The guy was a patriot lifer and I would just as soon forget about him, but i dont think the emergence of a TE in buffalo is whats gonna do it for me.

I remember very vividly where I was. I was like 9 or so at the time. I listened to tmost of the first half on teh radio in my living room. I then went over to the neighbor's house during the 3rd quarter and returned for the 4th. Much to my amazement the game was no longer a blowout. I didnt leave the room until the bills had won.

McGee was a 4th round pick buddy.

i dont knjow how that one is but i had the sporting news one last year. It was pretty good but contained little that I couldn't find on espn.com, especially since I have insider.

did we eventually conclude that mitch hedberg actually died?

Edwards is just as good as any reciever in last years draft for sure. I've watched a lot of good college WRs but rarely do you see someone who can just flat out dominate the way that edwards does. Couple that with his workouts and you've got a prospect. I'd say he's the biggest sure thing in this years draft. It'll be exciting to see him play in the pros, if San Diego can swing the trade to SF with RIvers to pick Edwards, they'll be really really nasty.

Its funny this is a thread because just yesterday i was thinking "i wonder if i started a 'serena williams is on steroids' thread and made an accompanying fake news website, how many people would buy into it'". HIlarity. That being said, I had this (mildly retarded) revelation the other day while watching serena get whooped by some euro chic. That babe definately looks like shes on the juice, or something.

They love to sign washed up cutters at end:SEE: Hugh Douglas Jason Gilden(i know we tried it to, but they put him on their roster) the 392nd resigning of Tony Brackens Marco Coleman (overrated)

RB Shaun Alexander to be dealt on draft day?
ROCCEO replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was at the seattle game and let me tell you their fans are a bunch of (insert plural expletive for female genetalia here). The Ralph rocks their socks off. -
Moorman.....just wait

Shane Matthews isn't a very good looking guy either.

RB Shaun Alexander to be dealt on draft day?

I think the titans took on a pretty big hit when they picked up Kevin Carter in 2001, same goes for the Chiefs when they got Trent Green. In general it's rare, but as long as these teams can maneuver under the cap until july or so when they can negotiate long term contracts for these guys they'll be fine. -
Brown is tough to say because he was a little overrated and had that falling out at the end. However I feel very strongly about Moulds as a player and ROCCEO (no, im not THEBLACKBEAR in disguise, or geroge/jimmy from seinfeld for that matter) thinks that Moulds has at this point earned "classic bill" status. Thats enough for me to lobby for his cause in regard to the wall. I always liked Kurt Schultz too but i think he falls a little short. I think i heard somewhere that Kurt is a financial advisor, perhaps even in buffalo, does anyone know if thats true. If so, good for Kurt, gotta love seein' guys do productive things when they're done, especially if htey live in buffalo!

Unfortunately it's tough to gather enough information to evaluate reserve lineman to the point wher eI can definitavely say "i think he shoudl be cut". This is the type of thing that I try not to think too hard about because its hard to evaluate offensive linemen especially since we never know blocking assignments or calls or anything. Conversely, it is easy to see when Teague or Smith get basted past for a sack. However, I think that given the current state of the line the best idea is just to sit back and pray that the coaches can figure things out. Also hope that everyhting works out in FA/trades/draft like TD wants it to.
-
I'd say Moulds is the only definate one. If cowart had played more seasons I'd say him. McGahee, Evans and Spikes alll have a lot of potential here. I think if Schobel maintains pace we can count him in. Other than that it's tough to say, unrestricted free agency will really take its toll on the frequency of wall inductees.

I love it, in general picking high in the second round yields good results, whereas any pick after pick 45 or so becomes questionable. This is at least my observation. Every draft pick is a crapshoot as evidenced by guys like Zach Thomas, Tom Brady(im not trying to start a debate here) and John Lynch, or Terrance McGee for us only Bills-literate football fans. Also first rounders don't always pan out : John Avery, Jamal Reynolds, Tim Couch, Erik Flowers, Dimitrious Underwood. You never know, but usually guys in teh top of the 2nd play like they feel they got snubbed by not being in the first(Kelsay, although it didnt seem to motivate Josh Reed) I'd definately rathe rhavce the move up in the 2nd. 4th rounders are good but rarely make significant impacts, but rather fill holes until moving on to free agency for the most part. Only time will tell with this one. Either way, the quicker this deal gets done the better.

OK, Ive read about the first 5 posts in this thread, but I feel the need to say that this is actually one of the worst assertion of opinion posts ever. I've seen more poignant bowling balls. Point being, whether or not you like TD, some of the assertions made here involve going out on a redwood-sized limb. I was with you pretty much until the point where you brought into question JP's maturity. I think that the way JP has handled the media has shown a lot about his maturity. However, this doesnt mean he'll be a great QB, but it's never a bad sign to see a guy with poise in front of a camera.

WAS THAT EVER............Fun!!!!!

I love watching those things, in general I try to watch old bills yearbooks every summer. An added benefit is the ungodly amount of mullets that used to populate both our stands and our locker room. Ray Bently you were a legend.
