Yeah I know, that movie totally sucked just like most of Bill Cosby's movies. After the workout willis turned out today he's a lock for the top 15, maybe even the top 10. Guy ran a 4.38! A 240 lb LB. Thats the fastest 40 I can remember seeing for a LB ever. I think Manny Lawson and Derrick Johnson both ran in the low 4.4's, but thats unbelievable. Dwight Freeney, a DE, ran a 4.38 in 02, shocking everybody I believe.

Yeah he must have ignored all those defensive coaches telling him to shed weight after he got on TBD and saw what everyone had to say about him.

My Turn: Moving Back East; Heading Back Home
ROCCEO replied to buffalobillsfootball's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Oh, its extremely odd. I have thought deep and hard about this very subject. Last year when I was getting set to graduate from UB i was thinking, "Im ready to go somewhere, ANYWHERE, warmer than this." As time drew on the same problem as always came up. I have a love/hate relationship with this city. I love the bills and I like it very much int eh summer but I only have lived here sept-late may. So I only see the best things for a little while. While some of us may love the city its debateable whether the city loves any of us back. Lo and behold, within a month of graduation day I was already preparing my application for canisius grad school. So here I sit for at least another 18 months, no clue if or when Im ever gonna leave. -
A holcomb jersey for 70 bucks, nobody outside of the holcomb family will be paying that I assure you.

I was hoping that since hes going to be a hall of famer that people would stop mentioning that.

I have a strange feeling that Dallas

I agree with you about barber, the guy has everything but breakaway speed, not that hes a slug. Hard nosed runner who can pick up blitzes and has one of the best noses for the end zone in the league. When Jones was nursing minor injuries last year Barber was thriving while recieving pretty much a full load. While he is no thurman thomas he also is a capable reciever out of the backfield(see the thanksgiving day game). Jones can also be good, sometimes very good(see his game vs seattle his rookie year). The problem is that barber seems to be tough while jones is mr glass. IMO the cowobys would be best served by keeping their current tandem but if they can trade him for a decent pick and pick up a rookie or cheap FA it would work just as well. I recall reading somewhere that Barber was misused at University of Minnesota and thus did not capitalize but honestly I cannot recall his college production. -
Theres few things I enjoy seeing more at the stadium than someone in a bryce paup jersey.
-
Fine, they can take him, his hype and his injuries. Who knows, they could reach for Levi Brown too, they need all the OL help they can get. They could choose a reciever but it seems doubtful and LaRon Landry would be a good fit for them

Scratch Patrick Willis off your draft wish list.
ROCCEO replied to Brandon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think he still falls to us. Linebackers dont often go top 10, even though last year two did. I can only think of a few in the past 5 or 6 years: AJ Hawk, Ernie Sims, Dan Morgan -
I hope the only thing he busts through this year is waivers. Thats a good deal, g'ter done! Does he seriously have a pizza shop in buffalo? if so, which one? Final note about Tim Anderson: he was a major reach in the 3rd round. Mark it 8
-
astute legal advice, fezmid you have once again proven yourself on the field of battle. Now gear up for Willis' paternity suits.
-
Does he want a HUGE deal? doubtful, hes probobly looking for something of market value, which is what Ahman Green got. 5 years, 20-25 mil. Turner is better than Ahman, likely better than Willis. If I have to choose turner or antonio pittman or kenny irons or even Tony hunt, ill take turner in the 2nd round. Are you actually going to call that contract cap friendly? Why? becuase he signed it last year. I believe it made him the highest paid safety in history. Something in the range of 34 million dollars. Archuleta is about the 18th best SS in the league. The contract might be cap friendly if the player whose signature it bore was named Ed Reed.

Michael Bush has another surgery on the broken leg
ROCCEO replied to syhuang's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
God no, please dont say that. Of course this is when the reports were saying he would be able to work out at his pro day next week. -

Thats a shame. You can now officially remove me from the Michael Bush bandwagon. Kenny Irons is looking better and better by the minute. Did I just write that? Jesus. Actually, put me on the official "get michael turner" bandwagon. -
i dont think we need to go RB 1st round, becuase of this guy

Its a smokescreen so that San Diego thinks we're intending on spending our first round pick unless they drop the price on turner !!! -

ROCCEO replied to BILLS #1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My sarcasm is merely the result of reading so many things like "someone may think tim anderson is worth a third round pick" or "we can trade our two third rounders and a bucket of wings for another first". I actually did miss that part. -
I agree that he is good, maybe even special. The next larry johnson I am not so sure of. I bet hes a lot more pleasant to have in the locker room than LJ.
-
He may even go in the third, hes one of hte biggest wildcards of the draft. Its funny that a guy like antonio cromartie who proved absolutely nothing in college other than he is an athletic freak and loves to get injured got drafted at pick 19 while a guy like Hughes could slip so far because of a workout. Its ridiculous.

Lets find Ken Simonton and sign him up too! Then we could have something better than a RB tandem, we'll have the quad squad!(A Train, Simonton, Jackson and Shaud). C'mon, dont take NFL europe seriously. -
anquan bolden ran a 4.7, Larry Fitzgerald ran a 4.45, of the two many consider Boldin to be faster. Also, TO ran a 4.65, nobody considers him slow. I believe our own terrance mcgee ran a 4.6, we know he's not slow. Jerry Rice: 4.6. Brett Perriman ran a 4.2-. Football speed and track speed are two totally different things. Rarely do football players ever run 40 yards in a straight line from a dead stop.

Has anyone else heard the reports that many teams medical staffs came away from lynch's checkup less than pleased. I guess he may have back issues. Well thats what they said about marcus mcneill!you say. Hey Im not saying hes bad, I just heard it on NFL network. They listen Lynch as one of their "slipping prospects"
