ok, im the one who made this post, why the hell is it attributed to "buffalodenny"? (i am not complaining because I think the post is brilliant, but just becuase it is a wierd occurance).
Your numbers are wrong for both of them I believe. Willis ran a 4.38 and 4.39 during campus workouts and Poz ran a 4.62 and 4.58,both players ran better than expected.
Sad as I was about him being on the trading block in the first place, it really was painful last year to watch him hop on top of the pile after a play like Coy Wire does. Best of luck to TKO but outside of the one play in the NE game last year he wouldve had trouble running down his own shadow.
As a wise man once said the times they are a changing and with that I say, "bring on michael turner".
Wow, they added him, Michael Haynes & Andre Wadsworth all in the same week, look out AFC!!
On a related note I believe I have personally produced wadsworths lately that would be equally effective at knocking over QBs as Andre.
Sometimes this doesnt work due to gross misjudgement on somebodys part. Luckily marvs track record to this point is pretty good. Sometimes a team will load up on "system" guys only to fire the coach 24 months later. Thankfully this does not appear to be the case in Buffalo right now. Even if we falter next year theres no way DJ gets axed, unless we are like 1-15. Marv doesnt believe in spur-of-the-moment coach firings as seen in his book. Currently I would describe my feelings about the Bills offseason as optimistic but slightly nervous.
I can just see that. "yeah lil willis had just hurdled the neighbords dog and was about to go into the end zone when lil will allen came by and snapped 3 of his knee ligaments!"
