Don't know if you read my main post, but I was questioning the moronic rule. Just sayin. -

But if you have two feet in bounds a millisecond before you are out of bounds, that's a completion? Or if a player crosses the goal line and the ball immediately gets knocked out of his hands or he drops it, that's also a TD? These rules are completely idiotic. Just like putting the Ump behind the QB which has ALREADY been changed. The league gets weaker and weaker by the day. -
Yes Sir, Chan Gailey - "Super Offensive Genius"
Rayzer32 replied to BillsPhan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Do you have some proof of this? From what I have seen, he is right there on the same level as Jauron. -
I am so sick of hearing it's a 2 or 3 year process every freaking year. Every 3 years or so we fire a coach and bring a new one in, WHICH MEANS IT'S GONNA BE ANOTHER 2 OR 3 YEARS OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash:

Official Trent Edward Haters Sign Up Page
Rayzer32 replied to BobDVA's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We aren't going to win many games with him maybe having one good drive per game. He needs to get GOT!!! -
Well they did draft a QB who could only have been better than what we saw today, BUT in typical Bills fashion, they cut him to keep TE, Fitz and Brohm. How can you not like that lineup at QB.

So we have Chan Gailey now......great! He just finds more thought out ways to look just as stupid or more stupid than Jauron if you ask me. Nice clock management before the half Chan. And the end of the game??? I'm still hoping that was a bad dream. And as a Trent Edwards supporter, I have seen the light, and it was not very bright. He sucks and so does everything else about this disgrace of an NFL franchise. I AM DISGUSTED!!!

Our Current Uniforms Really Suck *****
Rayzer32 replied to Dr. Zaius's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
New uniforms? Aren't these fairly new now? Who cares how many jersey's they will sell if they change them. Putting a winning team on the field will sell more jersey's over the way they look. I would wear a flaming pink Bills jersey if they won a Superbowl wearing them.....well, maybe. I would like to see what a blue Bills helmet with a red charging buffalo would like like. I thought the switch to red helmets was only to help the "Arkansas Rifle" Joe Ferguson cut down on his INTs by distinguishing his players from the other teams players. I never liked the red helmets. -
Name a surprise cut before it happens...

Fitzpatrick Mitchell Andra Davis -
This guy is definitely making the team, and may possibly be starting once he gets used to the transition to LB. Even his post game interviews are great. When asked if he caused the fumble tonight, he says "yeah, it was me"and something to the effect of "I was able to get a good angle and unload on him". And for his sack that was wiped out by a penalty by Lankster he said "I saw that hole open and just wanted to get a good hit on him". This guy is all football and loves to hit. Just the kind of physical LB the Bills need.

The Special teams coverage was terrible.
Rayzer32 replied to hamtenp's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The most "special" part of our special teams moonwalked down to Philadelphia. -
I assume you are talking about the regular season opener? I won't be at that game, but will be at the Jets game Oct. 3rd in my regular seat in section 134, row 8. I will also be there Saturday night. Going with a friend who has front row end zone seats. Not sure which end or section though.

I've been a die hard Bills fan for nearly 40 years. Once I was old enough to understand the whole rooting for a team concept, I've been watching the Bills. I remember when 90% of the people in this area (Rochester) were Bills fans. People rarely asked you who your favorite team was. They would just assume it was the Bills and would say let's go Bills or let's go Buffalo heading into the weekend. And then on Monday's you would hear allot of "did you see the Bills game yesterday" whether they won or lost. And even if you were on vacation in another state and you were wearing some Bills attire, you would get the occasional, "yeah, Bills fan". But nowadays, and this has been happening for quite awhile now, I seem to get this question heading into football season, "who's your team?". WNY used to be purely Bills country (remember those bumper stickers?) but now it's Steelers, Browns, Giants, Jets, Cowboys, Dolphins, Broncos and Patriots country. And I know there were always a number of Steelers, Browns and Giants fans scattered about, but now it's more and more common. The days of good ol' Bills Country have seemed to disappear and I think this all comes back to Ralph Wilson. He used to have one of the proudest franchises in the NFL, now he has the Red Headed Step Child of the NFL and doesn't seem to give a poop about it or the fans that have supported him throughout all those glory days as well as the sorry days. It will be interesting to hear him after the season, or after 4 or 5 straight woodshed beatings. What can he possibly tell us that will make us believe anything will ever change other than he is selling the team? I for one miss those days and although I still proudly wear my Bills gear, here or anywhere else in the country, it's starting to become a tad bit embarrassing. Last year when I was in Vegas wearing my TO jersey, I was hearing about how pitiful the Bills are, but most of this was coming from Bills fans themselves. I am starting to believe that kids growing up nowadays, who aren't brainwashed by their parents, are rooting for teams that they see win regularly on TV. If I was 5 or 6 right now and wasn't influenced by someone as to who to root for, it sure as hell wouldn't be the Bills just because they are the "local" team. If I were growing up much closer to Buffalo itself, then I'm sure that would have more of an impact on whether I did or didn't choose the Bills for my team. It's really sad to see this once proud football hotbed circling the bowl right now. It's only a game, but it's also a passion for many people.

He also got pelted when he was here coaching the Bears. He was acting all tough like he was going to kick everyone's ass. He despises Buffalo and probably won't even eat a chicken wing. How many people here on this board were always excited when the schedule came out and you saw the St. Louis Cardinals or the Saints on it back in the day? Everyone, fans and analyst's alike would be mocking and laughing at those teams. Well my fellow Bills fans, we are now the St. Orleans Bills. Gonna be awhile before this team is any good again. Gonna need some MAJOR changes first, starting at the top.

BLAH BLAH BLAH........As far as I know it's the exact same situation for 31 other teams too, but most of those 31 other teams don't have their 1st string play 90% of the first half, and 80% of that against a back up defense and they STILL CAN'T SCORE. This team is HORRIBLE!!! Trivia - When is the last time the Bills starting offense scored a TD in the a pre-season game. And why is it year after year this team takes so many dumb penalties that ALWAYS seem to kill a TD drive or give an offense a new set of downs after apparently stopping them on a 3rd down. Maybe it's not the coaching that many of us thought it was. How about Aaron Maybe I won't take a dumb penalty in a game. And if he keeps swinging his arms around like he does, I see some personal foul penalties in his future. Again, I see a defense that forgets to cover someone who ends up WIDE OPEN on a 3rd and long or has never practiced defending a draw play. And is Jauron still here somewhere? Again I see spineless coaching decisions, even in the freakin meaningless pre-season. Twice they had 4th and short and ended up kicking a FG one time and punting on the other one. Um I think it is and has been very clear that Lindell and Moorman really don't need the practice, they get more than their share of work in the regular season. But wait, the Bills have a new coaching staff. Oh yes they do....um, but so does Washington. The Skins also have two QBs learning new offenses as well. Was it just me or did they both do okay? The Bills have, still do and for the foreseeable future will blow. How long til Spiller wants out? Chan Gailey has talked up a good game, but talk is all I've noticed to this point. The Redskins looked as if they were playing a High School team. I can't wait to hear Ralph preach to us fans AGAIN about how upset and ticked off he is at this teams performance. It was very obvious tonight to anyone who knows football that if you go out and actually pay for a real QB and coaching staff, that it can make your team better. I bet Ralph buys Skol Vodka expecting it to taste like Grey Goose. Other than Lindell and Moorman, I liked what I saw from Marshawn and Levi in his first NFL action. Nothing like taking your first ever snap in the NFL from your own 1 yard line. I think the three QBs stay are Trent, Brian and Levi. Hasta la Vista Fitzy. 2010 final record 4-12.

Who's the first Buffalo Bill selected in Fantasy?
Rayzer32 replied to Chinstrap's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Byrd for leagues that have defensive player picks. I also think Lynch will go before Jackson in a lot of leagues. -
I don't agree with it, or how any other NFL player keeps his teammates, fans and organization on pins and needles. The NFL should have a date BEFORE training camp where any player contemplating retirement needs to have their decision by or if they demand a trade, this should be worked out too. Between Favre and some other players this whole issue is a complete joke. Either play or don't play. And the Bills, just like the Sabres, always seem to get nothing in return.

Yeah how dense can we be. I'm sure he had the offers flowing in during those 24 hours or so between his comments and the actual time he was released. This is just another example of how dumb this organization can be. Why release him now, why not wait til after the pre-season, or better yet, how about before the draft? AS knew after last year he wasn't playing another game with this team, when he said he was contemplating retirement. Think about it. It's obvious now, but no one was going to trade anything for him.

The Bills heard NE was interested so they cut him ASAP. Can't wait to watch Schobel be the one to take out our QB. And didn't Nix just tell everyone Schobel wasn't going anywhere? Gotta love our honest GM.
