    I suppose that is an idealistic position but I would also not want to go through the balance of my life knowing that I killed a guy who was simply drunk and in the wrong place. It would be harder for me to go through life knowing I had allowed harm to come to my family.

    The Russians were notorious for altering map locations during the cold war. The airbases may have requested the removal for security reasons.
