  1. We can do this all day. But i will address your points. Lets go back in time If you said the internet is great because i can bring my complaints here, then how are you not saying that the internet is great for keeping controversial discussions alive? If i complain about something and you respond.... how is that not keeping something alive? And you said you think its great. So it seems to me like you are contradicting yourself. This is bullcrap and you know it. First of all. You keep exposiing yourself more and more by reading and responding. No one is holding a gun to your head. You can ignore me if you don't like what i'm saying. Otherwise you can argue my point and defend TKO. So far all you have done is criticize me for bringing up the topic in the 1st place. Brilliant!
  2. I don't think there is anything wrong with admitting that spikes' comments were unproductive. Then we can all move on and hope he doesn't do it again. That's my attitude anyways. he should be held accountable for saying something dumb no matter what the excuse. But we all survive and move on. But criticizing the criticizers is not going to make this go away. I'm not turning on him. But im not going to blindly support him either if he says something i think he shouldn't have said .. thats all
  3. You didn't hurt my feelings. But you seemed to criticize me and the internet in general for keeping controversies alive. But then a couple messages later you say that the internet is wonderful for that reason. Which one is it? TKO put himself in this position by making these comments public. It's not the internet's fault he said what he did. So you must be a TO fan then right? Look, I agree, TKO is a great player. And I beleive i said that in my initial post. And I think he is a great guy which is why im surprised by these comments. But he does deserve to be crticized in this instance.
  4. I don't completely disagree with this. I knew some people on this message board would go overboard and think i'm expressing my hate for spikes. Nothing is further from the truth. Spikes is currently my favorite player on the Bills roster. But in THIS instance he is 100% wrong to say what he did to the media. And I will stick by that. But I do beleive this will blow over and things will be fine.
  5. Well you can say that for just about any controversy can't you? Have you never commented about controversial comments on this message board? Isn't that what this place is for? I feel like takeo's comments to the newspaper were wrong and unproductive. Why shouldn't I be able to express that on a message board???
  6. Can you elaborate on your point? Can you tell me why his comments are good for the team and productive?
  7. What does this mean exactly?
  8. I'm sorry. I like Takeo spikes as much as the next Bills fan. But he really needs to keep his mouth shut and be a team leader. He may or may not be right. But it's not like the Bills cut the guy. And bringing this into the media was a very dumb, immature thing to do on his part. He is not wrong to feel that way he is wrong for running to the newspaper and putting the young players in a tough spot. He needs to suck it up and do what is best for the team and understand that he is not the GM or the coach. And I know people are going to come back at me with 'He's a pro bowl veteran, he has the right to say what he wants'. Well I have the right to go burn a flag in my front yard, that doesn't make it right. I'm just saying what i think we would all be saying if it wasn't almost any other player besides spikes who uttered those iditotic remarks.
  9. allow the media to let us fly under the radar so teams dont see us coming.
  10. Who wants to go to the bills-jets game with me? I'd love to go with a bunch of rowdy bills fans ;=)
  11. I was so impressed with JP on Sunday and his improvement. But after reading the news' article on how evans was doubled all game, it really hit me as to why I was so impressed. JP is not feeling the need to force the ball to anyone and spread the ball evenly to 7 different receivers. Before he seemed to have the tendency to want to force the ball into evans on every play. Now he is clearly seeing the entire field and understands the importance of keeping the defense honest. This is a huge step of maturity that I was very happy to see in week 1. And it bodes well for future games.
  12. Probably somewhere in the middle
  13. OK .. the way i see it is that the officials were 100% right or 100% wrong according to the NFL's letter of the law. As i saw it .. .willis went down and tried to stretch the ball across the 1st down marker. Is the ball supposed to be spotted where the ball lands? or where his knee lands? what is the rule? if its where the ball lands, the be bills should have played the rest of that game under protest and should be kocking down the doors of goodell's office. If its where his knee lands, then we have nothing to complain about. There is no middle ground here. I just would like to know what the rulebook says.
  14. Does anyone buy into the excuses being made on behalf of the patriots today? All i hear is how the patriots would have lost if the Bills weren't such a bad team. The patriots have no receivers. No one said these things after ne's 41-0 win over washington in the preseason. I think Bellichek was not ready for the defensive scheme jauron threw at them. Even when the pats were up, brady was never comfortable. and the bills moved the ball very well. I think Buffalo will beat Miami next week handly.
  15. Correct me if im wrong .. but didnt whitner have a big run stuffing tackle?
  16. yeah macs are cool. I just dont like that guy
  17. I really want to beat up the condescending mac guy who is supposed to be so cool.
  18. why did my post get wacked?
  19. You are 100% right. Willis had to make that play!
  20. Buffalo executes the first undefeated season since the '72 dolphins
  21. Excellent post. Talent evluation is not where TD failed as gm of the bills
  22. Almost being the operative word. I remember a season opener where the bills stomped NE 31-0 in '03. They were not ready that day
  23. Fair assesment. Lots of things would definitely have to break right for us to walk out of foxboro with a win.
  24. I honestly don't think the patriots have more talent than bills do right now. The patriots are definitely a better team than the bills because they are more experienced and have a super bowl qb and coach. But I look at this bills roster and see a sh-- load of unrefined talent. The pats are starting to look a little long in the tooth to me. I guess im hoping that the lack of pressure on buffalo, combined with a pats team that may take us lightly (this has happened before). We will have a lot of ups and downs this season with a young, talented teams. I just think the conditions are ripe for an upset next sunday.
