Hmmm... The Offensive Line can't block Drew is still taking sacks Our coach makes bad calls at bad times and doesn't seem to understand how to gameplan.....at least so far (No real judgement on that until mid-season) Our WR seem to suck...either they can't catch the damn ball, or when they do...they drop it! Our Defense it aggressive as hell, but get beat up with quick passes. Enough reasons? These were close games against average teams. We will probably win against the sub-par teams, and get our butts kicked against the good ones. If we can't win these close games against average teams...we are done.

Seeing the world through Bledsoe-colored glasses

So basically what your saying is....J.P is going to be a flop? -
Just some advice here... Next time you are looking to buy a Bills product on Ebay...don't come to a board full of Bills fans and DRAW ATTENTION TO IT! You probably just added another 20 bidders by posting here. Good luck! Ooops...just noticed the Buy It Now. If your going to do it I would do it quick. When the buy it now is only 10 dollars over the starting price, it won't take long to sell.

Hell, I'm thinking of starting Brady v. Cardinals over Culpepper v. Philly. I'd go with Brady over Vick.

The one thing that scares me about the Raiders, especially matching up against the Bills, is the OLine. Those guys are young, but tough as hell and hard to get around. So, do you rush 4 guys and hope for the best so that you can leave the other 7 in coverage... Or do you send blitz packages like crazy and hope to get around that line, leaving the field a bit more open for passes. Keep in mind: Blitz packages got pressure on Leftwich last week (a team whose OLine is also considered a strenght), but only got to him a couple of times. Gannon is much more poised and probably won't be as shaken. Milloy is still out and Coy will be responsible for picking up WR's and TE (Oakland has very good pass catching TE's). Jerry Rice....nuff said Porter can be dangerous in single coverage. I know you never want to give a QB time to throw the ball, but I think I would hold off on blitz packages as much as possible. Fletcher and Spikes are both decent in pass protection, and Coy will be much better off with help from the LB's. I also think you have to go with the nickel package as much as possible. Get Posey out of the game and let McGee and/or Thomas pick up those slot recievers and releasing TE's. Anyone else?

Can you please refrain from using the work "sack" when describing our new QB?

Would someone mind posting Kiper's big board....

Here is the way I think next off-season goes. P. Williams gets new contract Jenning leaves for warmer weather Henry is traded for a first rounder With McGahee, Evans, and Losman filling their roles, this only leaves a few glaring holes on the team. FS: Need one bad. If Vincent makes the move it would be nice to have another corner. OL: Tackle being the priority for an early round pick. Jenning will be gone and MW isn't showing he's ready for the LT job. If the talent is there, I see those being the first two picks. Those are the two positions I'd be interested in hearing about. (3 if you they pick CB over FS) -
I'm having the same problem. Thought maybe it was just FireFox, but IE doesn't work either.

Same crap happened to me last year. I was living in NJ and decided to buy season tix. I was only planning on going to 5 games anyway, but ended up selling tickets to two more games. I LOVE being at the Ralph...even with a loss and a season like last year. But there was no way I was going to drive 6-7 hours both ways just to listen to about 6 guys in the row behind me B word and scream about every single thing we did. I got into it with them a few times, but it never really went anywhere. Like you, I know they paid for their tickets too, but it really degraded the experience for me. Not all of us can live locally and can get to every game. It really sucks that people like that will ruin the game for others.

Anyone else think that Parcels is

As of right now we are tied for the 1st pick with 14 other teams in the league. Including Dallas. I'm sure after his loss yesterday he was laughing all the way home. Must have been great to look at the end of the season after one game. -
God forbid these guys get pumped up and have fun. Yes, they need to win, but why do people get so worked up over this? Maybe if more fans at the game got more pumped up on a play by play basis the Ralph would regain some of it's notoriety as a tough stadium for opposing teams to play in.

I would be happy if Nate had knocked the ball down on the 4th and long. In that case, the only question I would have had after the game was why they didn't throw it long at least one time, but if we had one the game I would have trusted that we didn't need it. If only the last play of the game had changed, I would have been happy we won, but still would have questions about play calling and level of maturity of our players (Nate, Fletcher). Although even with the loss, I still feel pretty good about this team. I truly believe MM has the ability to correct things, unlike our last coach. Maybe this will be a wake-up call for a few of our players. Maybe next time Nate knocks the ball down. Maybe next time Fletcher doesn't kick a ball for no reason. Maybe next time we take a couple shots downfield to open up the defense. The next game is a huge test for our players and coaches. Will the players LEARN from their mistakes? Will the coaches? Can the coaches look at game film from week 1 and come up with a good gameplan for the Raiders? Many questions to be answered, but the Bills played hard thoughout the game. Other than a few fixable mistakes they should not be ashamed of how they played/coached. But, since it only takes a few mistakes to lose a game, they MUST show that they can fix them. Losing one game is not the end of the world. But, if they don't make improvements they will continue to lose. I have faith that those improvements will come. Maybe I'm just a blind fan.

You are right, but it falls on both the players and the coaches! A good example of each on the last drive alone. On that big 4th down pass....WHY THE HELL WASN'T JIMMY SMITH DOUBLED TEAMED? That is all I could think of when I saw that play. Jax has ONE reciever on the team who has the talent and poise to make a big time catch in that game situation. There should have been two guys on him for every play of that series. The final play in the end zone....three guys in the area, no one knocks it down. Defense was good...the ball was lofted in the air. YOU HAVE TO MAKE THAT PLAY. I still can't believe we lost that game...

I would say Brady is definatley one of the best in the league, but his OL is without a doubt one of the main reasons this is so. He has more time to throw in the pocket than anyone else in the league. I don't know if it is the Lineman, the coaching, or the system....but it is not ONLY Brady. I take absolutely nothng away from how good Brady is proving himself to be. On the few plays where the OL doesn't stuff the D, he moves around well in the pocket to avoid the rush. Also, he very rarely makes bad decisions. I think if you gave Manning as much time as Brady, Brady would still be the better overall QB. Manning tries to throw too many impossbile passes, and doesn't have the reaction time that Brady has. One other thing I have to say about the Pats....Their recievers just catch the damn ball! Every damn one of em! In my opinion they don't have one "star" on the team. No Moulds, no Owens, no Moss...etc But every damn one of em can catch the ball when it's thrown to them. Give Brady 6-8 sec to throw the ball, he will find the open guy, and they will catch the ball. With Corey Dillon in the backfield keeping Defenses honest, this team is going to be really tough to stop. That said, thier defense looks to have taken a step back. A good ball control offense (something the Colts never seem to be able to employ for a full game) will be able to move the ball on the Pats. As good as the O looks, I think the Bills will match up well. We have better DB's than Indy. The only thing that will kill us is turnovers. We need Henry and WM to hold onto the ball, and Bledsoe NEEDS to make quick, simple decisions! 5-10 yard strikes and a solid running game, we will be in it till the end.

Does Joe Burns Have Nude Pictures of TD?
Bear replied to BillsGuyInMalta's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It would also explain his bad play. Could you imagine doing anything well with THAT picture rolling around in your head! -
Just in case you haven't already done this: Once you update your avatar (and your old one pops up) try going back to your main menu screen and checking which one is actually there. When I updated mine, my old one popped up again on the change avatar screen. Instead of removing that time I went back out to the main menu and my new one was there.
