Go 4 wide set Line up Shelton on the left side to pick slow down Abraham after he gets by Jennings Go strictly shotgun No huddle Do something that will throw the Jets off a bit. This offense is too damn vanilla. Every damn D worth a damn can make adjustments to our line-up on every play. Keep the D on the field and let hopefull our WR's can finally make some catches. Note: As I'm writing this the TE's are finally catching the ball and we score. I still think we do what I said above on the next drive.

Okay, who didn't see this coming: Score at half time 10-0

Everything is relative. Pretend you are Travis Henry. The OLine can't block, Bledsoe can't avoid the rush, and the recievers can't catch quick passes that could bail Bledsoe out when the rush is on. The Defense is bringing the house on just about every play to try and put pressure on Bledsoe. When you get the ball, you have to run past 4 rushing lineman, two LB's, and probably a Safety all on their way into the backfield to get Drew. Oh yeah...it not like your FB is going to help you out much either. What do you do? (Answer....fall down!)

For me, today was the day. If they don't all of a sudden score 30 points I'm done looking forward to changes. Even if they have a good second half of the season and get slowly better, they still won't get in the playoffs, so it's another wasted season. I'm friggin bummed. ADD: Hey...nice catch Henry!

Ha! The football gods know exactly what they are doing. This wouldn't be a Bills game if they didn't drop in a play here or there that kept us just excited enough to break our hearts later on.

The refs are horrible today...BUT, I will say they have been horrible on both sides of the ball. They called some penalties on the Jets that shouldn't have been called earlier on. I was hoping that for once the other team was going to get screwed instead of us...but the refs seem to be ready to set things normal now.

How about 3 touchdowns in 34 possesions by the offense..... and counting.

Well folks, they're at it again...

Do you think Dallas would want Henry? I was really hoping they would look better today. I work with a guy who is a dolphins fan, and since the start of the season he has been resigned to the fact that they will have a good draft pick next season. I used to laugh at him, but now I just feel like crying. At least he has SOMETHING to look forward to. -
Let me know how that works out for ya!

I swear it looks like he is playing with a blindfold on. If Abraham doesn't run right in to him he looks like he has no idea what to do! Of course, when Abraham does run right into him he looks like he has no idea what to do.... :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:

Common guys, get your heads out of your A@@'s!! Could Jenning be any more slow off the ball? Abraham is good, but Jennings blocking is just plain horrible!

Same with me. Mine stopped working a few minutes into the game last week and I haven't been able to get on since. Even tried MChat, still won't connect.

Since we can't get any sacks anyway

Believe it or not, I watch him in games too. He does do well in run support! Just because you say he doesn't, doesn't exactly mean it's true....and vice versa of course. When I say run support, I don't neccessarily mean stopping the RB after he has gotten through the line/LB's and Coy has to stop him. I mean when it's a running down, and Coy comes up to help stop the run. When he's playing pass, and then comes up to stop the run, it takes him out of the play a bit. But even then, your claim that he sucks is just plain wrong. Has he whiffed some tackles? Sure, but who on this team hasn't? As far as rushing the passer? When I've seen Coy get pressure on the QB it is from speed rushes. No, he doesn't pick up FB's and throw them out of his way, not a single safety in the league does that. So, PP came in to rush the passer in the Jax game? How'd that work out? -
The date of the Arizona game where many are hoping JP will be ready to play.... 10/31

Zack Thomas is listed at 5-11 230lbs. Coy is listed at 6-0 205lbs (dry). 25 lbs IS a big difference...but Coy is pure freaking muscle. I remember reading he registered at NEGATIVE body fat when tested. He's THAT in shape! Like I said, he IS very light to play LB, but it's what he does best. He does well in run support at Safety, and he does a decent job getting to the QB when Safety blitzes are called. I'm not saying the Bills will go to 3-4 just to accomodate Coy, but I hate seeing him being wasted (not to mention burned) playing safety. He is a LB. He doesn't have the talent to play anywhere else. If he can't handle the LB position, he needs to find another line of work. -

I love how people have to asked not to be ripped every time they give an opinion... We have a 4th LB. His name is Coy Wire. I don't know why he hasn't been given the chance to play his natural position. Screw his size. He hits the hell out of people and as always been great in run support. He could excel at LB. (Hey, anything that gets him the hell off the Safety Depth Chart!) -
This is too obvious: Bledsoe got run over by a lineman, Driving down the field for a TD. You can say the line is getting better, But as for Drew and Henry, they disagree! Henry whiffed on all his blocking, And the line was full of holes. The recievers can't get open, And good old Drew can't hit a soul. Bledsoe got run over by a lineman, Driving down the field for a TD. You can say the line is getting better, But as for Drew and Henry, they disagree! Mularkey goes on 4th and inches, Now Henry's laying on his back. And the question Drew is asking.. Should I throw the ball or take a sack? HE TOOK THE SACK! Bledsoe got run over by a lineman, Driving down the field for a TD. You can say the line is getting better, But as for Drew and Henry, they disagree!

Will Bledsoe be our starter for all 16 games?

Alright, Let's Hear Some Viable Options

I'd change a bit: Basically, it's time to start talking about the future and start playing like the future is now! Get McGahee in the damn game. What the hell is the point of having both of these guys on the team if you are not going to use them! I'm not saying bench Henry...I'm saying play BOTH of them! Give Drew ONE MORE GAME. I know that's the last thing most poeple want to hear, but before the season started I said to myself that I wanted to see MM system in place and the players working it by week 5. Well, week 5 is here. If Drew still isn't able to excel in this system...get him out of the game. Let someone else try. For now, Mathews. Get JP in ASAP. For those that say he will just get hurt..etc, get over it. This is the NFL. We can't baby our QB! If he's going to get hurt every time he goes into the game, he doesn't belong in the NFL. Lets see that cocky swagger JP. I want to see you grabbing your OLinemen's facemasks and pointing them at the Defense! Lets see some fuggin ATTITUDE on the field. Both Milloy and Vincent should be back around week 6. In the mean time, lets see what McGee and Thomas can do in the 2 and 3 CB spots. If they are able to handle their assignments, I say get Vincent into the FS spot right now. Let him and Milloy work some magic back there. If Vincent makes the transition (I think he will excel!), these guys could be the most solid S duo in the league. Offseason? Let Jennings go. Re-sign Williams. Trade Travis. DRAFT 7 OFFENSIVE LINEMAN! One or two of them HAVE to pan out! Go DE in Free Agency and the team is set! -
Oct 31st against the cards. He needs to play. Every QB goes through growing pains. Just because he was hurt once doesn't mean you treat him with kid gloves. If he's ready to play...play him. Someone on this team needs to get some balls!

At this point, I could care less who the Bills start at QB, but I'm curious about the rest of you. Is it just a hatred of Drew? Do you think Mathews is actually a better QB? Do you think it will be one of those wierd "sparks"...like a K. Warner type thing? Drew has proven that he will never be a "great QB". At one point in his career he was very good, but he is nowhere near being that player anymore. If he is not losing a game for us, he is certainly doing nothing to win it. That said, Mathews has also proven to be and incompetent QB. Hell, the fact that he was still on the waiver wire 2 weeks before the season started should say something. This TEAM is not good enough to cover for Bledsoe or Mathews. I do not see anything different happening if Mathews is brought in to play. Now, if it's just a case of being so disgusted with Drew that you would rather have anyone else in the league leading the Bills to losses....okay. Frankly, I'm with ya. The Bills need a change, even if the result is the same. And to those of you who scoff at JP coming back and playing because it would "get him killed for no reason", I think your nuts! He needs to get his ass in the game as soon as he is ready. He needs to learn as much as possible BEFORE next season, and he will have plenty of sideline coaching by the time he comes back. Unless the Bills are 7-3 when he is ready to play...I say they need to get him the game!

Reed, Shaw, and the TE's really need to start getting involved and CATCHING THE DAMN BALL! And where the hell is McGahee? Saving him for the 4th?

I have a feeling Gray and the Defense are going to lose this game for us. He will try get creative and send all sorts of different blitz packages...and Brady will eat us up. They couldn't stop Gannon from completing those quick passes, and Brady and that core of over-achieving WR's they have will dink and dunk all day. I wish I felt differently, but I just don't see a win.
