  1. Two possible reason: 1. She craves the attention 2. She has no idea how to delete the thread
  2. I'm not. Suck it up and get the job done.
  3. Just because you have said it over and over again does not mean it has been agreed upon by everyone involved....including the Cards and Bills.
  4. I was going to say it sounds a lot like the Buffalo situation.
  5. Low balling is all the frame of mind. It does not matter what a player is worth in the open market. It matters what the player is worth to THE BILLS. This includes the fact that we have two young DT's behind Williams. Obviously not of the same talent level, but it all factors in. It takes into account his age. It factors in what kind of defense we are going to be running. It is also a matter of deciding if they want to keep Williams and possibly have to cut another player, this year or maybe next year, because his cap hit is too high. They could offer him a huge contract that he would never see the end of, but all that is going to do is leave us with more dead cap space later. Sure, we could offer a 7mil SB instead of 4, but in two years we can't sign a pretty decent player because we are 3mil short. You seem to have a very narrow and simple view of what it takes to keep a team running. It is not about the contract one player is going to get.
  6. I like the fact that we keep getting mentioned by other teams, even if it is in a negative way. Most of the time I feel like the Bills could fall off the face of the earth and no one in the league (other teams and media/fans) would notice. At least we're getting noticed.
  7. I think you're going to get what you pay for. While I agree about Fiedler and would put him in the same talent level as Johnson, I also think he be asking about the same price. All of the others I think are far worse. They'll come cheaper, and they will also be worth what they get.
  8. Any names? I can think of Batch, who has been out of football for a year. He'll come cheaper, and rightfully so. I wouldn't call him comparable at this point. Anyone else?
  9. I swear, for most people here there is not a FA out there talented enough to be a Buffalo Bill's BACKUP!!! Yes, he would be a good fit to BACKUP Losman. I think he has a the combination of skill and experience that we need to help JP along and step in for a few games if needed. His starting days are over, but he will make a good BACKUP!
  10. Well, I guess we're looking at Oline and RB.
  11. Like the last two years, it will be someone we haven't even thought about.
  12. Yeah, but he has two choices: 1. Go where the Bills tell him to go and play for new contract 2. Stay with the Bills another year, and try to get a contract next season as the guy who sat on the bench for two years. If it were me, I'd go to Arizona.
  13. 6 years, 30 million dollars do it? 12 mil guaranteed....WoW! Talk about overpaying! They better still pick up Braylon Edwards in the draft. Those two guys can help each other out.
  14. You know what would be great? If he was this years Mr. Irrelevant! How perfect would that be? Think he would do all the mock celebration stuff after the draft?
  15. My opinion is that we need one of two things: 1. Resign Pat Williams 2. Get a better #2 Corner than McGee, and let McGee back into the nickel slot. If it's possible, I vote for number 2. I think Ron Edwards will do fine in place of Pat, but as you said he is more of a pass rusher. If Pat walks, they need to be able to have a safety cheat up and LB's stay in their lanes to help with the run. A good number 2 CB will be able to man up, allowing the rest of the team to focus on other things.
  16. While you're back there, tell Norwood to aim a bit to the left.
  17. JAKE GROVE...and a pick!
  18. I know, I've seen mocks that have him going in the 6th. I think 4th is more likely, and like I said, someone might reach.
  19. I'd rather gouge my eyes out than watch a steelers game so I dont know anything about the guy. Scott Could he be a Nickel and maybe push McGee for the 2 spot? I also really don't know anything about the injury, but if it was something that he was able to play on at the end of last year, he may be back to 100% by the start of this season, but agian, I'm clueless on his talent level.
  20. He did, but he was replaced. If only Marv knew...
  21. I will say that I'm least convinced of that one, and I don't have any reason to think it, I just do. I think someone will reach for him in the 3rd...For some reason I have GB in mind. I think they'll skip QB in the first two rounds and reach for White in the third.
  22. I like the roster, but disagree with 3 of your 4 draft ideas. Nugent will be gone by the second. White will go in day 1. Clarett will go to Oakland or Miami in round 3.
  23. Actually, my hope was for both. Trade Henry for Shelton and sign Wahle to play LG. A LG who can pass block and pull on runs would be great. With those two pickups the Oline would be set, and the focus can be placed elsewhere in the draft.
  24. BTW, Jennings started out as a right guard also.
  25. Actually, now that you bring it up, Snyder sounds a lot more like JP-era. "Hey, XXXXX is a FA....LETS SIGN HIM!"
