  1. Waited until after the first adult job??
  2. Um, yeah...too bad.
  3. Oh well, thanks for rubbing it in everyones face.
  4. I agree. He is a perfect candidate to work a Peerless Price type trade with next season.
  5. My last avatar was of a bloody "Search for the Holy Grail" rabbit. I gave up on only doing Bear logos awhile ago. This one is a very subtle reference to the late Mitch Hedberg... "My apartment is infested with koala bears. It's the cutest infestation ever. Way better than cockroaches. When I turn on the light a bunch of koala bears scatter. And I don't want them to, you know, I'm like, "Hey, hold on fellas, lemme hold one of yous... and feed you a leaf."
  6. He will never be the King of England.
  7. F YOU!! Sorry, I'll try better next time. And how did you know that about my mom?
  8. Red Ink A few days old, but I hadn't seen it yet...
  9. True, but I don't think Teague is going anywhere. He did a pretty good job last year, but Centers are not like tackles...he will not be overpaid to go somewhere else next sesaon. CB is an area of concern because of FA, but I don't think center will be. JMO though.
  10. Well damn...to bad he didn't have your crystal ball.
  11. Why though? The article points out the Teague is the type of center TD is talking about. A guy that has the talent and understanding to play tackle, now playing guard. I suppose if Shelton doesn't come in and Teague is moved out of that position, than maybe it would make sense. But, if Shelton does come in, I would expect to see Teague at center next season, and rightfully so.
  12. Can he kick?
  13. I'd rather see JR up there. Moulds will do his thing, but JR needs some help. Sorry...I like talking in code.
  14. He's the real deal at what? We don't need a QB, so anything anyone has seen him do in the past is worthless. He's an athlete, but he's a hell of a risk.
  15. Sue? Is that you? Lee Evans.
  16. Right before I read this I was going to post that you could probably fill another thread with just fight club quotes. "I am Ron Mexico's raging case of herpes." "RON MEXICO, YOU TOURIST!!!!" "The first rule of the Falcons is you DO NOT TALK ABOUT RON MEXICO!" "How can you know what kind of man you if you've never been in Ron Mexico"
  17. "and boom goes the dynamite"
  18. I think FAMILIES should keep first cousins from marrying...not states.
  19. BBC reporting it also
  20. That doesn't say he is projected to go in the first round...it just says he is one of top 32 players. That only means the same thing if every team went with best player available at the time they pick. Since many teams will reach for players based on position, Baas will fall. OG's don't generally go in the first round.
  21. I'm curious to see what they paid. For vet min. or just above it isn't a bad deal. Although many like to use Wiley as an example of TD's genious, he hasn't been a bust based on lack of talent. He did very well in SD before getting injured. Yes, injuries are a part of the game, but it isn't like he was asking for a lot more money that he was worth. He was a hell of a force when healthy. I didn't watch enough of Dallas to know whether or not Dallas used him wrong (what Wiley claims), or his level of play came down that much, but for the right price I think he is certainly worth the gamble. IF he plays well, Jax will have a great Dline.
  22. Well, that depends on what the situation is. No one knows all the different scenarios that have been discussed. If what was said above is correct, all we know is that both teams want more than just a player for player trade. To many here, this will translate into "Why the hell doesn't TD just do a straight up trade??", leaving out the fact that Arizona ALSO has to agree to a that trade. According to the above statement, they want something else too. At this point I just have to have faith in TD. I can call him an idiot all day, but he is not stupid. He knows he has to get rid of Travis, but I agree that he should give up any more for Shelton. When it all comes down I think it will be player for player no trade at all.
  23. I'd really like to see these guys go in for physicals. At least that would mean they were ready to make the deal when the time comes. They both have recent injuries and it would surprise me if any deal is made without the physicals.
  24. Loses it's gusto when you have to angrily push the "end" button as hard as you can.
  25. As stated before, it would be a horrible cap move. There are a couple ways to get around it though. A. Trade Brees instead of Rivers. B. Tell the 49ers who to draft, let them sign him, and then make a trade. That way both teams are responsible for the signing bonus cap hits of their picks. Neither one will happen, and I doubt a trade will either. Seems like kind of a waste on SD part though. They are dumping a lot of money into the QB position. It sucks to give up Brees after how he played last year, but they should really make a move with one of these guys.
