There is a Martins in Northern VA where I used to live. I just went there about two months ago when I was on vacation and I must say, it was REALLY nice. It reminded me a lot of Wegmans. I went there a few times and my thoughts were it was my second favorite grocery store.

BTW, if you were a sports writer and were grading this draft, wouldn't you just give everyone pretty good grades?? Maybe not all A's, but like C+ and up? I mean, if no one can possible know how this draft can be graded yet, and no one will care how you ranked the draft 3 years from now, why not make your readers happy?

Of course, we would have taken them MUCH later than Jax, so it's kind of hard to compare. If something wierd happened and the Bills picked Matt Jones with their pick, I would have been changing my underwear.

I never really chimed in on the Henry situation, but I was pretty far off on one of my bold predictions... I said White was a 4th rounder and that it wouldn't surprise me if someone went too early and took him in the 3rd...then he goes undrafted. Oh well, I DID call Clarett going in the 3rd, so it all evens out!

What's up with Novak? He got some good press before the draft, but didn't get drafted. I thought he would go in the late 6th or 7th. I never saw him play, just read the articles. Sounds like he could be a good kicker, but maybe not so hot at kicking off...although Lindell is lacking there as well. Anyone know about him?

Although really there was no way to top Miami. Having such low picks they would have really had to screw up to get worse grade than the rest of the teams in the East. I was disappointed after day one, but it had more to do with the fact that we went a different way than I had expected, not really that I thought we drafted bad players. Now I feel better. I have to hope the line does okay, but JP does have plenty of weapons now. I would have been really excited if Elton Brown had fallen to us in the 4th, but oh well.

I love watching the Vikes slide every single year, but if they every had a chance to make a run, this is it. They look pretty scary.

I'm perfectly happy with Evans, but I agree with everyone else that Roy Williams would have been great, and also think Clayton would have been good also. Evans did great last year as the number 2, but Clayton has already proved that he can be a number 1. Evans looks like he could make the transition, but Clayton had the opportunity to show it, and did. At this point, no one knows if Evans would turn into another Price if given the #1 spot. I don't think he would, but who knows?

I think he should have to EARN his nickname, thank you very much.

Actually, it's not mine. I have one just like him though, but I can't get him to pose for pictures... The little SOB runs from camera like they're going to kill him.

Jolley hasn't blocked much, but Oaklands offense doens't use a blocking TE very often. All the times I've watched him, I can't say I ever saw him make or miss a big block, so I'd say it could go either way. He IS physical. I've seen him run over people and drag tacklers around after the catch. Oakland has made bad decision after bad decision...drafting Johnson was just another one. It means nothing. I guess it's pointless to argue about though. We'll all find out in September.

Do more with less. No one wants to pay the money to have a larger military, so they downsize. Then, when there is actually a war, there aren't enough people to go around. Not really much can be done about it.

I disagree. For some reason I seem to have a lot of Raiders fans as friends, so I see them play a lot. Doug Jolley is a damn good TE. The one knock I have on him is he is fairly slow, but he is tough as hell and makes the catches. He is has been part of the same sh-- offense that has taken down every other bit of talent Oakland has to offer. He is a good addition for the Jets, and swapping a first for a second is not a bad deal. Pennington just became tougher with a really good short range target. He isn't a game breaker, but he will help their team.

She's got the voice and the looks, but she doesn't know how to use them together on stage. She also has NO rythem! BTW, anyone get the feeling the people doing her wardrobe/hair etc are all just practicing all the stuff they always wanted to do before but nobody would let them?
