Murray. Although I have no idea what this has to do with football...

I haven't seen this guy, but Blaine started off the same way. First time I saw him was on a special called "street magician". Pretty cool stuff.
-
Even worse, the fantasy football sites (Yahoo, NFL.com, Sandbox, etc...) couldn't have him in their system because they couldn't use his name. Pissed a lot of people off who used defensive players instead of teams.

I've had the game a couple days now and I've noticed the Spy doesn't work very well this year. When you let the computer handle it, the LB still comes up to the line of scrimmage, taking him out of the play. When you do it yourself, the blocking seems to be incredible. I'll pull my LB back 10 yards and strafe until I see which direction the play is going, and then try to get to it. I have QB's running off 25 yard plays. When I'm playing a scrambling QB I have been running a Two DE Spy. Seems to work pretty well. As far as the game overall...I think it's better than last year, but there are bad things also. The running game seems to be the most obvious. I was on All-American running 250 yard games against top ranked teams. It's better on Heisman, but the then the passing game becomes ridiculously hard. I've been messing with the AI to try and find a sweet spot, but haven't gotten it yet. Oh well...NCAA is always just a filler until Madden comes out for me.

I think you mean "Secret Window". Oddly enough, I put it in the "lousy movies that you like" thread yesterday. There was plenty to not like about that movie, but the acting was great.

I bet he wouldn't have signed for anything last year. I highly doubt Clements was even willing to sign an extention last year. Why would he? GM's don't have the choice to re-sign anyone they want anytime they want. There actually has to be some desire from the other side. Last year Clements was heading into his first year as a number one CB. Other than injury, there was no way he wasn't going to up his value. This goes for all the other guys on the team everyone wants to sign before their contract expires. This is not Madden.

Apology Post to TD for TH Deal Here!!!
Bear replied to Fake-Fat Sunny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So you wanted the Bills to get nothing when they could get a 4th or 5th? Okay. Hey, I have no problem with someone making a prediction and being wrong...I don't know if I ever said it but I thought they could get a second for Henry. I was wrong too. It was more the fact that you and Bill NYC berated and laughed at people who thought TD would get anything more for Henry than what was being offered in the draft. Then, when he does get it, both of you try to berate and laugh at people for calling you on it. I expected it from him. A little surprised by you. Cut or a sixth: http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=24354&hl= -
Apology Post to TD for TH Deal Here!!!

At one point in time you pretty much said everything from 4th to cutting him straight up. Throw enough darts...and you were still off. -
Do I bring Willis to my Fantasy Keeper league?
Bear replied to The Riddler's topic in Fantasy Football
I would say it't not a real bad deal, but he is getting a bit too much. I would counter with Portis and two 4th's. You never know how much that 2nd round pick is going to be needed. If he won't come down, I say go for it anyway. Every player in the league is an injury risk...it's just how it works. You are taking a risk that McGahee is going to continue to get better, but I think it's worth the gamble. -
Were you really that confused?

Bills talking extension with McGee
Bear replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's hardly a comparable situation. Clements is one of the best in the league. Locking him up will cost big bucks. McGee will be much cheaper and easier to sign. Of course everyone would rather sign Clements, but it's not as if extending McGee will have anything to do with that. Honestly, I don't think TD has any intention of extending Clements. I think he Franchises him and trades him after this season. -

Why is everyone so happy about the trade?
Bear replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's what I thought about last year, but for the first few games Henry looked worse than at any other time in his career. -

Once again, even if Willis went down Henry would not be a factor. He didn't want to play in Buffalo. He may have gone on the field, but he would have had no will to play. You're right, but it isn't any other year. It's a year where there was very little interest in Henry. A year where there was no outside interest in RB's like James and Alexander. A year where people were saying we should: Trade TH plus picks for Shelton...A guy who was overated by everyone Trade straight up for Shelton Trade for a 5th rounder Trade for ANY pick Cut him straight up since we won't get anything for him After the draft many were saying that was it. Henry would either be cut or sit the bench and B word all year. People from the paid "experts" to people on this board were screaming to take ANY offer. TD held his ground and got a 3rd for Henry. He didn't throw in the towel and take a tackle that the coaches didn't want. He didn't take a low ball trade offer. He stuck it out and got what he wanted and what was best for this team. For that yes, I say good damn job. -
Who WOULD have gotten the ball if WM went down? The guy who said he would never put on a Bills uniform again? Yeah...he would have been motivated. Christ, even when a good solid move is made people have to B word.

Teague may disagree.

Bills | Moulds Says Evans Can Reach 1,300 Yards Fri, 15 Jul 2005 14:07:38 -0700 Mark Ludwiczak, of BuffaloBills.com, reports Buffalo Bills WR Eric Moulds said he thinks that barring injury, WR Lee Evans could be a 1,300-yard receiver this season. Bills | Evans Feeling More Comfortable Fri, 15 Jul 2005 14:07:14 -0700 Mark Ludwiczak, of BuffaloBills.com, reports Buffalo Bills WR Lee Evans is feeling more at ease heading into his second NFL season. "I'm so much further ahead than where I was last year," Evans said. "I feel that gives me a little bit extra incentive to keep it going. Just knowing the success I had last year and the way I felt, this year I should be a lot more comfortable and just kind of know the ropes a little more. ... I have great expectations of myself. And as long as I go out there and play the way I know how to play, I think I'll be fine. As long as it fits within the team concept, making the plays that need to be made to help us win games - that's the bottom line." Bills | Losman, Evans Working Overtime Fri, 15 Jul 2005 14:06:40 -0700 Mark Ludwiczak, of BuffaloBills.com, reports Buffalo Bills WR Lee Evans and QB J.P. Losman have worked 10-15 minutes on various routes and patterns. "We certainly are still learning (about) each other, what he wants to do, what I want to do, what we want to do," said Evans. "It's still a work in progress right now, but we're taking great strides toward it."

Verba getting some interest from Buffalo?
Bear replied to The_Real's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He can help the line even if it is only as a backup. I can put my trust in the coaches that they know what they are doing with the starters, but I don't think for a minute we have a chance if anyone goes down. Whether Verba can win the LT position or not, we would at least have some depth. That is of course if he has come down off his high hoarse enough to take much less than he was asking for. -
Detroit may have a good year, but fantasy wise they'll be crap for awhile. With all those weapons it's impossible to get the ball around enough to anyone. Once the year goes on it should become a little more clear who the "go to guy" will be, who the "touchdown" guy will be, and whose the guy to leave on the bench. Until then, I'd stay away from all of them until late rounds.

Derek Vanuatu I like it!

With an opinion. This isn't a test.

I chose yes, although I prefer to make mine from scratch. You know, the way they did it in the old days. It just isn't any good if it's done too easily. I also changed the oven timer to a buzzer. No more "DING" for me.
