Why now? Why saddle a new HC with a player he might not want? If TO goes, so what? This will mean he was not committed to the BIlls. Building a team with old veteran, who are near the end of the careers is OK for a team that needs 1 or 2 players to make a big splash in the playoff run. This team is no way close to that right now. This team needs to rebuild and TO just takes away valuable time from Evans, Hardy and others.

Dungy, Gruden, and Marty, do not want to coach next year! Shannaham and Holgrem are still being paid by their old teams. Shannaham is getting 9 million a year to just to sit for the next 2 years. So if he signs to coach another team, he loses that money. So even though, he is unemployed right now, he is not broke. This is why he can just sit and wait for what he thinks is the best opportunity. This is why the 10 million is no big deal! Also since, Holgrem wants to be GM and not the coach, Shannaham has much more leverage with the other former coaches out of the picture.

Maybe Perry is taking chances because he has nothing to lose. If the Bills lose the game so what! I doubt he would of tried that 59 yard field goal if the Bills were in contention for the wild ard right now. What if the Dolphins did not throw that stupid pass on 1-10 on the 1 yard line, the Bills would of been down 14 -0 and later 21 - 7. How would the game have turned out then>

I must be missing something here, we scored 15 against the Jags and now people are saying we are going to score in the high twenties or low 30 against a much better team. Sorry but I do see us getting more than 14 points. The fish win this game easily.

That's the problem, your going to have to totally rebuild this team. just because you have the money does not mean you can get all the players you need. Many free agents are never as good as they were on other teams. Good coaches want to win now not rebuild a team for 3 or 4 years from now. As we found out this year the Oline is not easily upgradeable. Also good QBs are not readily available. All the things you stated is what does not make this an appealing position for Shanny, he wants to win now and the team is not there.

The Bills have had no debt for years but have let player after player leave in free agency. The owner is 91 and who knows what happens after he goes. The Bills are in a shambles and need a total rebuild. Does Shanny want to start over with no QB. Just because there is no cap does not mean you can go out and spend what you want, there are still rules in place to stop this We do have a rabid fan base but very weak corporate sponsorship, company suites and etc.. Bills are a small market team, Shanny likes the limelight with his considerable EGO

He blew a 3 game lead with 5 to play. His record is 146 - 98 and 8 - 5 in playoff games. If you take away the two super bowl years he is 2 - 5

Shanahan is getting 7 million a year from the Broncos for the next 2 years. If he signs with another team then he forfiets the contract. I think he will wait for the season to end and see what his choices are. There is no need for him to sign in a hurry. The jobs will be there.

Sorry but TO's great days are over! He knows it and he seems to be just going through the motions. I do not think he will see a big contract next year and he does not seem to be wanting to do the things he needs to be more than adequate.

Why would Peters care anymore about being a Buffalo Bill? He received more money, went to a totally better organization, with a much better coaching staff and a owner that wants to win! It is the Bills FO that screwed up by bring in Dockery and Walker and paying them way more money than Peters! Why should Peters be upset, because he played a much tougher position and made the Pro Bowl, but had two other mediocre players getting rich while the Bills dragged their feet on a new deal! Peters position has become much more evident by the Bills cutting both players this year. The Eagles did not seem to mind trading for him and paying him what he wanted. The Eagles are in contention while the Bills are again floundering. I think that Peters is very happy he is out of Buffalo

I think the problem is the Bill's love affair with small fast players. These players are prone to injuries in a 16 game season.

But only for this year, afterwards he can go anywhere and say anything! Why would he want to come to Buffalo over Washington, where the owner will do or spend anything for a winner vs an owner that always cries small market and cash to cap.
