  1. Does anyone at this point not think Ralph is a huge problem? Why is that incompatible with wanting the coach gone? One is feasible without death, the other isn't.
  2. That's one of about 1,000 epic failure "apology threads" she has started. There's probably a couple for Whitner & Kelsay too.
  3. He stopped posting for the most part when it was proven that JP sucks after he called everyone "a retard" who argued otherwise; so I would say there's a good possibility, yes.
  4. I'm sure Williams singlehandily killed a lot of wire-to-wire 1st place teams, me included. I'm still stunned since he's been around for a few years and what you see in a rookie RB is typically what you get for their career. I guess their OL is a lot better now. It'll be interesting to see where he gets taken next year, and how drafts in general shake out. I think right now I'd take Peterson 1st and maybe Brees/Romo before any other RB.
  5. Yah, tough to say; that NFC South is weird. Up until this year Carolina was notorious for being a tough road team and a dog in their stadium; suddenly it's a 180. I'd like to think Atl is a flash in the pan, but a franchise QB is the easiest way to establish consistency and Ryan appears to be that. Jacksonville I'm not sure about - most say they underachieved this year but I tend to think they overachieved last year with their slop WR core and lack of pass-rush.
  6. Wait till 2012 for Zona.
  7. Epic failure of a weekend. Much like Megatron's 50 yard TD that was negated via penalty at 1:30 Sunday, the Thursday night Jags game was just a bad omen. Lets break down the film and correct some mistakes (or something like that). Week 17 Philly -1 vs. Dallas - The Skins seem to give the Eagles issues for whatever reason; I still like the <FG line in the cold. NYJ -3 vs. Miami - Jets playing their worst football of the season has them valued equally vs. the Fish right now. Most probably think Miami is better but I still think they're the worst 10-5 team ever. Denver +9 @ San Diego - "OMG the Chargers are gonna be pissed cause they were screwed @Denver earlier" - I don't buy it - it's not an intimidating building to play in. They were supposed to be pissed when Eli went back there for a Sunday night game and their defense got roasted - and that was when their defense was good and Eli stunk. In any case this line being higher than a touchdown against a Bronco team with road wins @NJ & Atlanta is too much. Last Week: 0-5 YTD: 28-23
  8. I guess. Invesco is no Mile High; the Raiders & Jags both manhandled them in that building. The Jets 2 years ago was a better road win, which amounted to zero wins the following year.
  9. And the week starts with another brutal loss w/ the Jags...Colts had no business covering that. Not sure how I feel about the Cards with Boldin out, but we'll just let it ride.
  10. I don't know, probably Foster. The Browns don't look like they can do much of anything offensively w/ Dorsey.
  11. The way I see it the Over/Under is the same in both games. Schaub will probably get his ~240 and a TD but for the most part it it should be Slaton having a field day against an awful run defense. Denver should do most of their damage thru the air in a 27-20 sort of game. Houston has also been brutal on the road except for the Packers game a couple weeks ago. I'd go with Cutler.
  12. I'd probably play Rhodes over Dunn. I believe Cadillac got as much work as Dunn last week plus he gets the goaline carries. Even if Addai plays I don't think he'll get more than half of the work. Not sure what Gore's health status is - obv. you have to play him if he's ok.
  13. Rough week thanks to Walt Coleman and the Falcons goaline fumbler. Lets get this rollin again with some dogs. Week 16 KC +4 vs. Miami - OK I'll say it: the Fish aren't any good. Their 5 of 6 streak includes the following: 2 pt game home vs. Seattle, 2 pt win home vs. Oakland, 20 pt loss home vs. NE, 4 pt win @STL, 5 pt win home vs. SF. Most impressive game was the 16-3 game @Toronto. All this and an incredible unsustainable turnover rate. If they weren't 1-15 last year they're not getting the props they get. Arizona +9 @ New England - I would've scoffed at ever taking the road side in this matchup a few weeks ago, but 9 points - wtf. I'm pretty sure this line is 6 or less before the Cards lay down like a dog last week. I don't think Whisenhunt is going to let them sleepwalk into the postseason. Detroit +7 vs. New Orleans - I'll admit the "last home game, gotta win sometime" logic is kinda lame. Against a bad Saints defense that doesn't have much to play for getting a TD though, ehh why not. Jacksonville +6 vs. Indy - Nice that the Jags didn't quit last week; they shouldn't here either playing their SB in primetime. The Colts putting some things together is a concern as they're clearly a much better team than they were a month ago. The revenge factor is not a concern because they're the Colts and they play on precision, not emotion. I want to throw the Titans in here, but Haynesworth is too huge of a loss for them imo. Wednesday edit: Tampa Bay -3.5 vs. San Diego - The Chargers suck bad. Either they're getting too much respect with this line or the Bucs are undervalued after a couple tough road losses. Last Week: 0-2-1 YTD: 28-18
  14. Thanks but ya know, it's not really my style to wager on sports. Outscored everyone this yr, playing the 2nd place team that beat me twice, trying to complete a "07 Giants postseason revenge tour". Romo vs. B'more Turner @Minny SJax vs. SF Andre @Oak Megatron vs. NO Clark @Jax Longwell vs. ATL NYJ @Sea vs. Rodgers @Chi ADP vs. ATL D. Williams @NYG TO vs. B'more Marshall vs. Buff Carlson vs. NYJ Gostowski vs. AZ NYG vs. Carolina Meh, I hope my Johnsons didn't shoot their load last week.
  15. I'm thinking you're crazy for asking if you're crazy. Slaton and it's not close.
  16. Just heard Pat Williams is out 2-4 weeks. Awesome news for Turner owners - I was stuck with either him or Chris Johnson vs. Pittsburgh for championship week.
  17. I'm with OP on this one. I can accept that we don't have Manning or Brady and as a result can't expect our QB to play the way Trent did vs. the Chargers every week. You have to remember though that our running game also sucked for the 1st month+ of the season (which I think is a big part of what made us appreciate TE's good play that much more). We didn't need our QB to play a "Chargers game" against the Browns, 49ers, Dolphins, or Jets today. We needed them to not play like John Beck squared. We get that and for all of our flaws we're sole possession of 1st place.
  18. This isn't a lot of time for an NFL team that needs a FG?
  19. Couldn't agree more.
  20. [ ] It was 3rd&short. [ ] ML was running well that game. [ ] The pass was picked off. [ ] A punt is a good play when you're up less than 3 with 2 minutes left and your defense has given up 400 yards. Fail.
  21. +1 All he did for two years was throw out every excuse in the book for JP. Now he's complaining about fans who blame everyone but the QB.
  22. Yep, Collinsworth summed it up pretty well.
  23. Particularly given that a Steelers 3rd&1 "1st down" run on their first FG drive was a clear half yard short but there somehow wasn't enough evidence to overturn that spot. How Walt Coleman still has a job is sickening.
