I know it's hard to believe for some of us Bills fans, but going from 2-14 to 8-8 in a couple years is not terribly difficult; particularly in a bad division.

Maybe because we've lost a billion games where the defense gave up <17 points? How many games in the last 10 years have we lost where we put up 30? The idea that 20 offensive points (subtracting Moss fumble and kickoff return) is a great game against a mediocre defense says a lot.

You know Bledsoe played a few good games for Dallas right? I guess it's one thing to have always liked the guy, but to change your opinion after a game and a half - one against the Lions and a half against a lax D with a big lead - is very hard to understand.

I don't take days of and picket either. Excellent straw-man about a tiny % of people you see on tv. I just know "morally superior", "self-righteous" and all these neat catch-phrases were used in the other thread. Yet yesterday and today I don't hear anyone in the Vick camp (either in the media or on message boards) lashing out at Edwards - it's pretty obvious their claim about valuing humans more than the "tree huggers" is just something they pull out of their @ss to make a fictitious point for argument's sake. Mike Francessa (who does not share your opinion of Mr. Vick) appears to be on his own in blasting Edwards today for a solid hour+.

Vick apologists ironically like to call others "self-righteous" all the while pretending they care more about human life than others...always quick to say that driving drunk is worse because it hurts HUMANS - why haven't I seen more venom from them directed at Braylan Edwards? re: football - weird move. Why did they trade McNabb if they want to win now? Makes no sense. All because he played well for a half against a prevent D, and a Lions team that gave up 30pts/game last year. Kolb coming back against a bad defense on the road would've been perfect too. Something tells me when he comes back it'll be against a sick D at home so the lovable Philly fans can boo him after 1 series.

By "everyone" you must mean like 20% of us who have been ridiculed for most of those 10 years by the "educated fans" who never blamed the QB until the last couple years when it has become painfully obvious to the majority that good QB's can and do make plays without the '91 Hogs blocking for them. That was an absolutely horrendous call. Not debatable really. Like a hundred times worse than Bellichicks call in Indy last year. If Rackers is unlikely to make the kick then go for it - they only needed 4 yards and the offense was humming. The punt actually netted 14 yards btw when you factor in the intentional delay of game. To everyone saying "it worked" - GMAFB. I really hope you're not the same guy who accuses people of criticizing coaching decisions "because it didn't work; if it worked you wouldn't say anything, blah blah". I guess if you score a 2pt conversion in a tie game that's the right call too as long as you make it.

I hope Vick dies of Aids. I can't listen to another ESPN donkey like Fred Coleman kiss the guy's butt. Why is it that any time someone prefaces a point with "I don't condone what he did but..." they basically condone what he did (kinda like "I'm not a racist/I have black friends")? Has anyone ever met a 28yr old terrible person that wasn't still a terrible person at 32? Do you seriously have to patronize us by saying years and years of planned torture/murder is a "mistake", or imply that everyone who is disgusted by the guy must be some extremist Peta freak? I don't think losing Grant is a big deal and I don't think their players consider Philly that emotional of a win. But yah every time someone here makes a thread about our opponent being a lock ATS we manage to ugly up the game and lose by a FG. In fact last time we played GB there was the same thread in disbelief at how we could be favored and I told them how stupid they were; can't find it in the archives.

Seriously. I remember when Gillbride left town, people on here raked him thru the coals for a quote about preferring deep balls because it's hard to sustain 10-12 play drives. Not to totally defend him because our offense was pretty damn dreadful in '03, but with the personnel we have now I think that is especially true. Most of our drives end in a 3&out anyway and Lee is one of the best deep threats in the game. How Trent doesn't chuck it deep at least once per quarter is just hard to believe.
