  1. I like retail as well. Used to work cashier at a Drug Store. My favorite was when 40 year old women would show me their ID when buying cigarettes. I'd say "cosmetics are over there if you wanna look younger". The "tan kakhi pants and gulf shirt" outfit also cooperates with immediately going out drinking without having to change clothes.
  2. Even though Wire killed us in the 1st Pats game, that was at home. Fighting the Pats and the crowd and the refs in Primetime....I don't think Ronnie Lott would help us in that game.
  3. You forgot John Kitna, Chad Morton, and the entire Indianapolis Colts defense. Has that Morton deuchebag even returned a kick to midfield in the last 2 years?
  4. A cardboard cutout of Milloy is better than Wire.
  5. "I didn't know Tom Brady had a TV show"...
  6. No kidding - when McGee returned the kickoff vs. NE, I just sat there casually eating my nachos. Finally I let out a "yeah F-you NE" cheer after the extra point. Everyone in the bar looked at me like I had 3 heads. It must be nice to be a Pats fan and not have to EVER worry about that crap. They reinstate replay because of "just give it to em" and then replay gives them a SB. Ever thought about the irony of that?
  7. You know - I really wish I was a baseball fan somtimes. Games on every day. Plus, the players actually decide the games. When your team hits a HR you can immediately jump for joy rather than waiting for a flag to appear. I just can't get into it for some reason.
  8. Who are you kidding? All of those shows are getting pushed back to a later day. No way they try to compete w/ Game 7.
  9. What do you think about Michigan-Purdue? I can't stand Michigan, but I'm liking them in this game. They have good balance, always played well on the road, getting 4 points, and Purdue is coming off one of those devastating losses that teams usually don't recover from the following week. I also kinda like Rutgers and B.C. getting points @ Pitt and ND respectively. Rutgers has a QB who can play, Pitt stinks, and B.C. always wins in South Bend. Lots of attractive road dogs this week.
  10. I like Philly, but I could see them stumbling this week. Remember when Wayne Chrebet punked Keyshawn's Bucs in 2000 on a game winner in the last minute? Can anybody see Garcia going off for a monster game and shoving it right in TO's face? That could happen right - or am I just dreaming?
  11. Pick any two of the following: New England -.5, San Diego +9, Buffalo +12.
  12. That's his wife? I thought his brother just had a girl's name.
  13. That's true - I've always said you can't underestimate the cheeseness of that Oakland game. If the refs didn't blow it, BB would have 1 ring just like a million other coaches; and they would've lost to a California team in the snow to boot.
  14. Gotcha....yeh, the media wavers so much based on recent history it's ridiculous. Tampa could go 1-15 this year, I still think Gruden is a great coach. That 2002 offense was worse on paper than the 2000 Ravens. Lousy OL, no running game, no speed, and Brad Johnson, are you kidding me? And they averaged like 30+ points in the playoffs, unbelievable.
  15. I agree with most of that, but I've never really understood the "Belichek stunk in Cleveland" stuff. I know they had some rough years in the early 90's, but that was a different era before FA & salary cap. He did go 11-5 in 1994, and in 95 they were a lame duck franchise headed to Baltimore.
  16. I never thought Lewis was that great to begin with, but John Fox? Their 2 best players on offense have been hurt all year, and now both of their stud DT's are out. GW couldn't do any better when Henry, Moulds and the rest of his team was healthy.
  17. I'm willing to give MM the benefit of the doubt here. Frankly, who really cares who starts the first series. Lets wait and see who is playing when the game is on the line in the 4th Qtr. If it's Henry and he fails to produce again, then I'll be the first to complain.
  18. Baltimore opens as a 6 point favorite - wow. I don't think the Bills are going to win this game, but even I think that's a bit high.
  19. nice spin, but the Sox were the heavy favorites before the series started. 3-2 is 3-2 anyway you slice it, and no Boston fan would've taken that offer before Game 1.
  20. Have you listened to Tim McCarver talk? "The Yankees get all the breaks, the Red Sox are so unlucky, wah". I know Joe Buck mentioned the ground rule double that cost the Yankees a run in the 9th, but if that happened to the Red Sox, McCarver would have been harping on it every 5 minutes for the rest of the game.
  21. Can FOX go 5 seconds without showing some gay Boston fan in the stands? You can't possibly be serious. You have to be joking, right? After EVERY pitch?
  22. Good point - I've never payed any attention to these power rankings, but that's the question I would always ask myself if I were putting together a list. I mean, if you're going to go strictly by record, then what's the point of these things? Might as well just list the overall league standings. I definitely think we'd beat the 49ers, Cards, Bears, Raiders, Bengals, Dolphins, Redskins, and Bucs on a nuetral field right now. After that there are a handful of teams on the same level as the Bills - like the Lions, Panthers, Chiefs, Cowboys, Packers, Titans, Browns, etc.
  23. Welcome aboard to the "anyone but the Sox" club. Man I hate Boston.
  24. You must be joking. We play virtually the same schedule. They play the Texans instead of the Jags, the Chargers instead of the Raiders, and the Bills instead of the Jets. The other 12 games are the same.
