Heh, nice avatar. I do think he's a good player though. Still, Surtain is about the only "cinch" out of that group. Bell hasn't been healthy in about 3 years, and Knight is slower than me.

I agree - I don't care if it's DE, DT, OL....get the best available player in the trenches.

Apples to apples? Funny you mention that. I remember watching a Patriots-Jets MNF game in 1999 at the Meadowlands. The Pats had a big lead and folded like a cheap tent in the 4th Qtr. Less than a minute left on 4TH DOWN trailing by a few points, Drew dropped back....pat pat pat....can't find anybody....sack. And he never touched the ground. He just curled up in "the fetal position" as Darrin called it until the ref blew the whistle. Game over. WTF? I didn't care who won that game and even I was screaming at the TV. What the hell is he doing? JUST THROW THE BALL. You may think I'm exaggerating, but I swear I am not. These things are on tape. Check it out - seriously. It might've been 2000.

I have to agree. At another "neutral" board (ie not a Bills forum) I post on, somebody started a Losman thread and everyone said he was a cocky punk with an attitude problem. I actually felt good about that. I can tell other fans' are scared he's going to be a player.

I think the white ones are pretty cool. As for the red...I think we started a bad trend with the monotone thing. Compared to the Bills though, I would say the Cards did more with less given their color scheme and what they had to work with. Our whites are hideous, though I am also learning to like the blue.

I agree with you. If you have faith in TD finding a good DT, then why do you want to draft one in the 2nd round a year after you got one in the 3rd round? Are they going to find anybody who grades that much better than Anderson in this "weak" draft? I do agree with MrLocke that DT is an important position; but we need DE and OL just as badly if not worse. Also, Edwards has definitely improved since that admittedly bad '02 season. I say take the best available player left in the trenches.

It wasn't just last year, it was the last 2 full seasons. Actually it was more than that. How many good games did he have in his supposedly great rookie year other than the Minnesota game in Week 2? I think that game (along with the Redskins game in '03) was the fluke, not the other 40+ games. I'm tired of this analogy. Moulds didn't get a chance to play in his first 2 years.

Anymore? Even when they had competition they could afford to be lazy because kids buy any game that says "EA" on the cover. Can't imagine what they're going to be like now; don't think I'm going to bother next year.

Fair enough - for the record, I have always defended Gibbs against people claiming he's "lost it" after 1 freaking year; and I also never said our deal with Dallas was "brilliant", although I do like Losman. I personally think Campbell has bust written all over him, but if they like him they like him.
