You can play the cause-and-effect game and redistribute blame until you're blue in the face... But if the D is going to wilt that easily when the offense isn't playing well - it's going to be a LONG year. It's not as if they were shutting 'em down for 3 qtr's and wore down in the 4th.

I expect a young QB to make young QB mistakes ie the safety... But the lack of accuracy is just frightening and inexcusable. Can the dude make ANY throws? There were instances where he had time to throw and wasn't close to hitting a 5 yard out, a corner route, a 5 yd crossing route, a screen pass.... I dunno, it's really pathetic. When was the last time this team overcame ANY adversity or overcame any kind of defecit on the road?

Well I'd have to say that was the most predictable choke job ever. Different coach same letdown Irish. Probably the same Spartans too. I got money that says they lose to Northwestern or somebody next week.

Brooks - I'm playing him this week too. I'm worried the Saints will be in for a huge letdown this week, but if not....the Giants defense just isn't that good IMO.

Yeah, I think I'd roll the dice with Warner - the Rams defense on the road is just brutal. You never know Hasselbeck might have a good game, but Seattle had a tough time beating Atlanta's backups at the end of last year if I recall.

I just got NFL Network and most people on it seem really dumb. Eisen is an OK host, but Terrell Davis, Sterling Sharp, Solomon Wilcox, and the white guy's name which I can't remember are all horrible. The postgame press coferences are cool though, and I'm looking forward to the Bills' show tonight.
