  1. Interception Interception get his WR killed sack sack Just want to clarify my 4th Qtr chronology is correct here:
  2. rofl way to come up big in the clutch Dante.
  3. You're just realizing this now? Not sure what game you're watching; Batch has taken 10 points off the board and this Taylor CB has given Miami another 7.
  4. Ronnie Brown is good. Not terribly impressed w/ Culpepper; though he is an upgrade from what they had. Chambers = overrated; I like Michaels & Madden but why were they afraid to say he dropped that TD in the 2nd qtr? Agree w/ the secondary comments.
  5. Huh? You obviously missed all 15 of my debates with MM bashers this summer. OMG another dumb trick play on the goaline!
  6. OMG what a dumb trick play on the goaline!
  7. Jags & Ward; not close.
  8. Looks like a pretty good starting lineup for a 12 team league. If it's not required to carry backups at all positions definitely drop Kaeding, Klopfeinwhatever and the Lions and pick up some RB/WR depth. As it stands right now there's really nothing you can afford to give up in terms of trading for anybody worth a damn.
  9. Not sure if you're 7 or 9. I've never been a homer but I ended up w/ Evans in both my drafts this year; maybe a coincidence; not sure. I'm not motivated enough to closely examine and split hairs picking a best team but team #1 is the worst.
  10. H O W M A N Y T E A M S ?
  11. I wouldn't start Simms vs. the Ravens.
  12. I agree with whoever said he's a glorified gossip columnist. However, it is pathetic that people are getting worked up over this. I mean did everyone think that he sucked in 2003 when he picked us to go to the SB, or any other year in the last 5 when he thought we were a playoff team?
  13. I've been known to weigh matchups & homefield too heavily myself and even I disagree....McNabb has to be the play unless Favre's matchup is more favorable by a wide margin; this week doesn't qualify.
  14. I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic as I know nothing but IDP's but your offense looks pretty stacked.
  15. Don't want to start another thread but this league is pretty much the complete opposite of the aforementioned. 8 teams, only start 1 RB which is actually kinda cool since it makes the early picks a lot less predictable which means some of these picks aren't really the steals they may appear to be. There's a ton of good players who went undrafted. I had the #6 pick. QB: Palmer Delhomme RB: R. Johnson Jordan Bush Addai WR: Harrison R. Moss R. Williams Evans R. Brown TE: Davis Watson K: Vinaterri Stover D: Jaguars At first I hated it but I think I have the best QB's, best WR's and best kicker.
  16. I think your WR's have enough ?'s to say not a 10/10 but it's a solid draft. Jackson/McGahee is a pretty sweet wrap around with the last pick.
  17. It's good to look at matchups re: QB's unless you have Manning/Brady/Palmer but as a default definitely go with McNabb; especially if your league punishes int's.
  18. Haha sorry I was drunk. QB's/WR's are ok; RB's don't look so hot. Tough to evaluate w/out knowing the # of teams though.
  19. Whoops, 8 still pretty good for a bad year. The difference between Porter & Stallworth is pretty negligable IMO.
  20. I'd go w/ Driver dude; I'm not sure it's that close.
  21. Yeah I don't love my QB's but I waited because there's Manning then Palmer/Brady and basically a bunch of guys after that who I don't think are that much better, so not bad value for the 8th/9th rounds IMO. Only guy I would've loved to have was Bulger who was taken a few spots ahead of me; maybe I should've taken him in the 7th instead of T. Jones. As far as my starter it'll just be week-to-week pending matchups. Not really sure who to play @ RB/WR this week. I know Ward doesn't look like he's going to have a big game but I still think I have to play him over Evans until JP proves something. T. Jones has a much better matchup vs. GB than Jordan does vs. SD but can I really sit my #1 pick to start the season? Agonizing decisions already
  22. Just finished - how'd I do? Adding to the weirdness is that the order of picks in odd # rounds were random so I got screwed plus you must pick 2 K's, 2 D's, 2 QB's...standard lineups except WR's can sub for TE's. Think I did well given the circumstances. Manning was taken at #4 fwiw; couldn't pull the trigger on Portis. QB: Brees (8) Vick (9) RB: Jordan (1) McGahee (2) T. Jones (7) WR: Ward (3) Horn (4) Driver (5) Evans (6) K: J. Reed (10) Carney (13) D: Ravens (11) Vikings (12)
  23. So I guess Stanley Pritchett went to the Randy Cross school of broadcasting.
  24. I don't really see a #14 overall pick dude. I'm guessing it was Palmer and I'm a huge fan of his too (in 'real' football) but I don't like that pick at all. If everyone in front nabbed RB's I would've rather grabbed a stud WR and you still could've gotten a solid QB much later. Either that or reach for a solid 2nd RB who gets all the carries. I don't have a problem with Bush, Dillion, Rhodes, or Benson but it's weird how you have none of their handcuffs but I dunno how the draft played out.
  25. Looks good if it's a 20 team league
