  1. 21 TD's.
  2. Fixed your post. This is the correct answer, and it's not even close.
  3. No, you don't need to get rid of Moss - it's the worst time to deal him if others in your league have the same gloom opinion of him - which - evidently they do if these are the sort of garbage trade offers you're getting. As for FA's, Cotchery & Toomer aren't going to get you anywhere. Colston might actually have some potential though.
  4. Seriously? OMG no. Don't be that idiot who panicks and overeacts to two games, unless you're in my league.
  5. Go with your first thought.
  6. Maybe... The Chiefs talent level at the QB/OL positions has taken a huge downward spiral though, and they didn't fare too badly in Denver for a team that was supposed to get killed. Also, you can fill about 3 CD's worth of games in the last 5 years of games where teams "almost" came back against the Patriots, so I don't know how much stock I put into last week's ultimately unsuccessful rally, however admirable it may have been.
  7. You can say a lot of things about Herm Edwards, but his teams lacking heart I don't think is one of them (if that was the implication). I do think it's a little ridiculous that people here are talking blowout. But I do think it's a good matchup for us. Clearly, our defense has a lot of strengths, with a weakness of bulk up front stopping the run. Seems like the Jets don't really have the rushing attack to exploit this. On the other side, they have a tough time vs. McGahee as you pointed out. It'll be interesting to see what the Jets do defensively. For the last 3 years I've been amazed at the Jets apparent refusal to put more than 7 in the box when throwing was clearly our weakness offensively....whether it be JP, Holcomb, or Bledsoe under center, and Henry or McGahee in the backfield.
  8. All, HA & JDG have provided valid points & insightful opinions (agree or disagree) with no personal attacks; to which the replies have been an embarassing disgrace. That is all.
  9. Yeah, very good game. Jax really kicked their ass on the stat sheet.
  10. I was right! too lazy too quote the article, but it's in there. Saban is a fraidy cat.
  11. Of course not. I have however, ran into some jackass Colts fans of all people, which proves bad apples really do apply everywhere.
  12. I know I know. But I go to that Landing Strip message board that was linked the other day (and I've visited there for a few years) and their fans on average seem to be surprisingly informed. Also, they have that gullible optimism about them like they think they're a playoff team, but not in a cocky way. And they say stuff like "this could be a tough game" or "we always have trouble at their place"....as if a franchise with such a sorry history should consistently beat a team on the road....and they do all of this without the NYC arrogance that Giants fans seem to have. I dunno, I kinda like Jets fan.
  13. He had a good game in Charlotte last December if I recall. Even when they were good last year, both of those teams were impossible to figure out.
  14. Can you guys help me hate the Jets? Never been able to do it. Do you have to live in Long Island at some point in your life?
  15. Drink much? Also, I thought you worked for Dell....you're white?
  16. Schein is still a dumbass.
  17. I agree - I've been to that board before Jets-Bills games for the last few years and relatively speaking, in the world of retarded message boards, that board is pretty good. Some of the other things in that thread are a bit dumb though. Like "the Bills blitz like crazy" or "their defense is awesome". "This might actually not be a cakewalk" is pretty funny too since they're SIX POINT DOGS.
  18. Original prediction was 5-11. I'd say 7-9 now.
  19. Agreed. I'm just saying, if you had to pick right now, LJ is the bigger risk based on their OL and coaching staff. Also, the Bengals run D isn't that good IMO.
  20. The Chiefs OL isn't as good this year. He had a bunch of yardage vs. a good run D on the road yesterday with Damon Huard playing QB. The Bengals game I thought he'd do better. I still think he'll be as good or better than Alexander this year in the long run. LDT looks like the best pick so far; which isn't surprising considering how good his numbers were with a horrible supporting cast and marginal QB play in 2003.
  21. I think Steve Smith was the real MVP of the league last year.
  22. Has anybody told Greg Gumbell that the ball went out at the 1? I still don't think he's realized it yet.
  23. Yep both of those decisions were dreadful IMO; and they generally come from the Head Coach, not the coordinator. I'd say there's a 95% chance TMQ will point it out tomorrow in its "proposterous punts" section.
  24. I know a lot of people hate Collinsworth, and I think it has something to do with his dorkish looks circa John Clayton. I've always thought he's pretty good. He's always been fair to the Bills, giving credit where it's due, particularly during the Wade era (we haven't earned much credit since). Al Michaels asked him about the Giants game, and he said: "I turned it off because it looked over and there were other close games going on." I mean, what analyst would admit that rather than pretend to have watched all 14 games from start to finish? I think he's fantastic.
  25. From what I've seen of NFL network in the last hour, I'm pretty sure the Cowboys & Giants were the only teams who have played today.
