  1. I've always liked Marshall.
  2. So I had a 1 point lead going into tonight with Driver vs. Westbrook. Bwahaha - about time I get a damn break.
  3. You suck at posting.
  4. Lets be honest - they get calls against every team not named Denver. Predictable pissed of dominating performance though, at least for me. Pretty ridiculous that people still want to count them out every time they lose a game. It doesn't matter who their WR's are as long as they have the QB/coach. Marvin Lewis has the guts of whatever the opposite of a burglar is.
  5. What's the point of message boards? So you can say "Yay we won", "damn we lost"? STFU
  6. I know you mentioned this in another thread, and I agree. I'd like a definition of 'killer instinct' because I've seen complaints about settling for a FG and I've seen complaints about throwing too much at the end. Basically the perceived killer instinct has a lot to do with the fact that they're not a real good team and therefore not especially likely to dominate any game for 60 minutes. Offensively, I would've liked to see a shot at the endzone when it was 14-6 early 4th. Defensively though, it's not as if we went into a prevent. I didn't notice a significant droppoff w/ the pass-rush towards the end; Minny just made some plays and if I'm not mistaken they got back into the game because McGee got beat on a double move in single coverage with no safety help; and the same thing damn near cost us the game on the last drive (thanks Robinson).
  7. I love the way Willis has run 3 games in a row.
  8. I agree. They lost a ton of home games that year, including blowing a 17pt 4th Qtr lead to the Rams. Last year their schedule was a joke and the Redskins & Panthers were each exhausted playing their 4th straight road games in the playoffs. To be fair they did get jobbed by the refs in the SB though.
  9. Alexander is the posterboy for "overrated because of fantasy value" and this game would be no different whatsoever with him in there.
  10. WTF are you talking about. They went for the kill in NE. They threw on 1st&goal from the 5 in Miami. Last week they ran a bootleg and everyone threw a spaz about it. The 3rd&6 run today I agree was dumb, but hardly 'predictable'. Do you want to see 5wide spread inside the 10?
  11. Not a bad week for my team but once again my 'defense' sucks. Not my team defense, but Terry freaking Glenn and all these chumps have big games against me. And of course, I play against LJ the week that the Chiefs play the worst defense they'll play all year. Fantasy Gods owe me big.
  12. Why are you so obsessed with imaginary figures? Use quotes, the archives, and call out specific people, otherwise stop wasting space.
  13. Way to punt on 4th&2 from the 38. Lewis is a vagina.
  14. Yeah what was with that fair catch deal? I thought it was a chickensh!t call myself. The announcers were bad, but I'll take them over any combination that includes Randy Cross. I hope that you're right about the sound being bad - otherwise our fans came up small.
  15. Ha - nice catch. But yeah, I've never understood why people pretend like they're watching specific OLmen during the game.
  16. But I saw the replay!! Because Fox showed the replay!! Fox doesn't show the replay of the RG on any other play but you know, I saw that replay so he sucked. fixed post
  17. Weak performance by the Hawks. Am I missing something about Kirk Ferentz?
  18. OK I'll say it: Good post.
  19. OK sorry to be a nit but, trenches are always important. Whether or not it's more or less important than usual, I don't think has anything to do with how good a team's lines are. I hope that makes some sense. As for keys, I've gone into pretty much every Bills game for 10 years thinking that our offense was the key. I think I've been right for the most part. 7-9 and 6-10 in 1997/2003 with a good defense and 8-8 with a terrible D in 2002 is pretty good evidence of this. For some reason, I get the feeling that our defense is going to decide our fate this season. Maybe it's because for some inexplicable reason, I like our offense a little bit this year providing a lack of JP brainfarts. I think fans of about 20 teams think their OL stinks and I don't think ours is much worse than average and I think our skill guys can play some. I dunno, I just don't see us losing many 13-10 games this year. I know Brad Johnson has won a lot peoples respect lately (me included) but their wideouts scare nobody. Our run defense makes me cringe; if we keep Chester Taylor under 80 yards we'll be in 1st place Monday. So yeah, I guess I agree that trenches are big.
  20. Yeah, I think the last two games were a little misleading in both directions. The NE game so far is probably the best representation so far, and they were ok in that game. As for the Jets game, the 3step drop is not some revolutionary tactic and we should've countered it better. Brad Riter who is sometimes a dope asked a good question to Lee Evans or somebody: "If it's so effective why doesn't everyone do it"? Nobody really had an answer, that was weird.
  21. Good stuff, I agree - love the way he plays. I thought I remember Nate being able to tackle people at one point but I could be wrong.
  22. Funny, that's the first pundit I've heard all week to pick us to win. Seems like all the casual squares are wondering why the Vikings aren't favored and yet the line has stayed at Bills -1 all week....I take that as a good sign that a lot of the sharp bettors like us to win. Are people really scared of our pass-rush though? I mean, do the offensive coaches get together in meetings and say: "how do we slow down Ryan Denney"?
  23. If it were 1999 I might be bitching about Smerlas and what an idiot he is. Since it was so clear so long ago, I've just accpeted it, ignored him completely, and shook my head at how he can possibly still be on the air. He's a retard.
