  1. Disappointing clunker from Cuse today. The offense really sucks. Are they going to have a QB next year who can play? Penn St. was given a game by the refs in Minnesota; though PSU has been on their share of shafts recently. Arkansas schooled Auburn in an upset. LSU-Fla should be a great game. I love these SEC games. Elsewhere there's Texas-Oklahoma and Oregon-Cal. I'd prefer to watch the latter, but of course Pac-10 games are never on TV.
  2. Every time Brees throws for 300 yards it puts a hop in my step.
  3. Sweet - good idea for a thread. We clinched vs. the Jets like 6 years in a row We usually blew them out in Jersey but for some reason they always gave us problems at our place even when they were terrible. I was a bit young for this game but I remember the '93 game where their kicker missed like 3 FG's to give us homefield. It was freezing and we got a rare break from the refs when Thurman appeared to fumble before reaching the endzone for our only TD.
  4. No way can you start McCallister. Gore/Jordan/Portis is tough but play 2 of those.
  5. I should hope so; I'm starting Evans over Driver this week.
  6. Furrey is the one easy decision to not start in that group.
  7. yeah I still don't get it. Looking at likely playoff teams from the AFC: San Diego, Denver, NE, Baltimore, Cincy, Pittsburgh, Jacksonville...obv. 2 of these teams won't make it but where would you rank the Colts defense in this group? Along with Cincy they're clearly the worst IMO; and that's not even counting the NFC so there's no way their defense will be one of the 5 best in the playoffs.
  8. Daqix - you have a couple fair points but much of that is ridiculous. You're ripping the Bears for losing a home playoff game after a week off while pimping the Colts? Seriously? 11th ranked in a 16 team conference is good? Jacksonville's offense is good? I know it's tempting to like the Colts, since they're generally competing with foes who are easier to hate as a Bills fan. But objectively, it's hard to not see the parallels with Marino's constantly overrated media-darling Dolphins.
  9. Totally agree. Manning is hands down the MVP right now in part because the Colts just aren't as good as everyone thinks (they'd be 1-3 with an average QB). Not many teams have gone far in the playoffs without being able to run or stop the run.
  10. I think the Panthers defense will improve (can't say I've seen much of them either) but dude, no way can you make that deal.
  11. It's pretty rare that I agree with everyone but I agree. I mean yeah, TD did a couple good things and I don't think many people dispute that. Honestly though, has Mort or Pasquarelli ever given credit to any other administration after their departure who did nothing but lose? Ever? It's a pretty ridiculous agenda they have.
  12. ZOMG admit it - you'll be wearing a Jim McMahon jersey on Sunday.
  13. Rofl, this board is so weird. All the optimists think every team we play every week every year isn't that good and we can win; and when we lose they say "did you really expect us to be in the game against X"? It seems incredibly contradictory but whatever. I on the other hand go in with realistic expectations and still manage to get pissed off after a loss.
  14. I actually do have the incredible ability to at least vaguely remember every single game since 1990, but I realize that's not normal.
  15. You should actually check again. A little surprised you have to use google since you're such a better fan, but whatever.
  16. Yeah clearly I'm rooting for the Bears since I think they're good. Might want to double check those Pats-Bills 03-04 games in Buffalo.
  17. Well their opponents are 6-10 because they're 4-0. If they were 2-2 their opponents would be 8-8 just like ours. Any discredit for "almost" losing in Minnesota is absurd since it was a division road game and a more important game for the Vikings. They're the best team in the NFC.
  18. I think your own analysis is pretty solid (it's due not do ) Driver being questionable sucks for me since I'll have to start Evans in Chitown but you have plenty of depth; I'd probly go w/ R. Williams & Burress
  19. This has been my observation as well from the ~10 Packer games I've seen the last couple years. I don't think he was ever considered a "rising star".
  20. This is correct. Mauraders & SC.....wow, you're not good at watching games.
  21. "Feels like this game is over" I'm sorry I like Kornheiser. He obviously isn't well trained by the Disney Execs, which I like.
  22. Frist, I hope it hurts when you die.
