  1. I think you mean "well executed" 3 step drop play? It was a nice read and throw to beat the blitz and pick up a first, but we only remember it because the Jets safety took an awful angle on Parrish.
  2. Because they beat a crappy team at home in a meaningless game? Interesting theory.
  3. OK I have to ask: Who is Baker, and does anyone other than Ron Pitts call him that?
  4. Why do I have to do that? My point is you should have to tell me how you can determine WM would've done better.
  5. And I don't disagree. It seems like onus should be on Willis to outplay Thomas and not vice versa though, no?
  6. He does have 2 TD's of 10+ yards in the only games where he's received substantial playing time. When's the last time Willis ran for a TD of 2+ yards? Even a diehard poker math geek like myself has a tough time blaming that strictly on short-term luck. I honestly don't think McGahee's 9 yard "shoelace tackle" run pre-injury was any less of a scoring opportunity than A-train's TD; and I think anyone who does is just saying such because of the different results. For the record I wouldn't expect the team to be much better with Thomas starting. I have liked the way Willis has run since the Miami game - lots of tough yards inside; he didn't try to bounce everything out - I thought he showed a lot of toughness in that game without big stats. The thing is Thomas has proven throughout his career he can do the same thing; so if WM isn't going to be a superior homerun threat, I'm not sure what we're paying him for.
  7. Totally agree. I'd like to see what a Nall/A-train backfield can do in Houston. If that sounds sarcastic, it wasn't supposed to. Man, we suck
  8. I might've been pissed a couple years ago. Now I think it's just comical.
  9. KC - not impressive at home vs. Seattle w/ all their injuries. SD = much better team than the Rams who always suck on the road. Miami & Houston today = obviously flukes. I mean those teams got rocked at home vs. Washington & GB respectively. Those road wins by NE, Balt & Jax last week were certainly impressive though, as was KC today.
  10. Too bad nobody actually did here it here first
  11. Something tells me the Bills wouldn't be in any game much less vs. Denver with a -4 turnover ratio and 2:00 left.
  12. I win if any of the following happen: Reed doesn't miss a FG Ward doesn't fumble on the goaline Mike Bell has 1 more catch Evans has 1 more catch Driver has 4 more yards I think I'm going to kill myself.
  13. lol, I think one thing most of us agree on is that we're going nowhere and therefore just as or more concerned with the play than the results. We were pretty lucky to win the game; Favre was just overdue for a classic Favre road game; which was why I loved the Bills to win the game in the first place.
  14. My point is this thread. and the apparant idiocy of questioning coaches.
  15. But the coaches are paid professionals and you're not! Oh right, that only applies when it's convenient for JP....carry on.
  16. Couple questions: 1) should I start charging a fee for advice? 2) why do all my teams suck except for the recreational yahoo team?
  17. The Bears had/have no chance to sweep road games vs. Giants/Pats though.
  18. I really expected a better game from the offense and was really surprised we were outplayed so badly for 3+ Qtrs. I've defended Willis this year as well but I don't see us losing much w/ A-train. Am I bitter just because I have WM on my fantasy team - or should he have scored on that 9 yard run before he was hurt? Also, I don't know if he would've scored on A-train's TD. Also, great job by the FOX research department: "first TD since 2004" - that's interesting I was pretty sure he he scored in Foxboro this year.
  19. He stunk in the SB, no question. Did you watch the 3 road games in the AFC playoffs though?
  20. How'd the Falcons do today?
  21. For once you're correct. ZOMG Vincent just blocked a FG. Edit - I posted this before I knew there were 18 threads about it.
  22. I read a couple weeks ago that Moulds had been thrown the ball 25 times and he caught 22 of those balls and of those 22 catches, he got 15 first downs and scored once. That's pretty sick.
