  1. The Giants line has moved because of their injuries. I didn't like them before the season, but you have to give them credit for 3 quality road wins; I'm going to put some action on them. Also like the Bucs +9.5 - that's a visiting team series and Carolina is awful as a home favorite.
  2. Bottom line is Manning was worse than the Colts defense in those NE games; it's not like they gave up 30 points. His postseason track record looks ok if you take away those NE games, but it also looks pretty terrible if you take away the 2 Denver games. People tend to forget the Titans & Jets games which were offensive disasters too.
  3. Tennessee's defense sucks, so does Jacksonville's OL.
  4. I happen to think there's plenty of middle ground between "blaming it all on the QB", and the retarded notion that WR on this team is a bigger weakness than QB.
  5. Oh yeah, I forgot we have the worst WR core in the league.
  6. Do you think the running game might be better if teams respected J-lo?
  7. Steve Smith is just the nuts man. I don't think any player (maybe Brady?) has played a bigger role in more playoff wins over the last 3 years.
  8. What's the crisis? Play Branch at the #2 slot and play the best matchup at #3.
  9. I think Jim Harbaugh is available if you're interested.
  10. He does lead the team in TD's
  11. Does picking up A-train in fantasy make me a total homer? Just wonderin. At least he won't be splitting carries, right?
  12. Not sure why I bother sometimes So giving the other team an easy 3 points minimum is vastly different than costing yourself 3 points minimum....glad we got that squared away. Also the Steelers fumbled IN THEIR OWN END on a kickoff, but facts aren't important in law school. In any case I'm not even arguing that Miami would've won w/out turnovers. Maybe they would've, but I don't care enough to look into it. The point is it wouldn't have been a Bears blowout in a turnoverless game; and nobody would've thought Miami could come within 14 points in a turnoverless game.
  13. No mention of the Harrington int on the Bears 5 yard line I see. Obviously the Bears are a much better team, but an 18 point road win against a very good team just doesn't happen unless you play very well. It actually doesn't happen in the NFL period. I mean if you want to play that silly game, Pittsburgh beats Denver by 30 points.
  14. Turnovers not withstanding they did win by 18 points
  15. Just you, he's been all over them since the GW era.
  16. That's cute and all, but I'm ok with agreeing to disagree on how valuable last year's experience was (I think the benefits were more than non-negligable just because the coaching staff is different). I don't think it's an outrage or anything if he's not benched this year; if Levy & Jauron want to play out the string that's fine by me. I just have a funny feeling that if he's still not performing by Week 17, many of the apologists will reneg on their "give him the year" stance and continue the excuses into the summer & training camp next year.
  17. I'm 26 and JP has had his full year. Never sensed that it was an age thing; though I always got the feeling Flutie-RJ was a Democrat/Republican thing.
  18. Yeah, did anyone else watch that game last week? Any time you're -5 in turnovers and still in the game with 2:00 left you're doing a lot of things right. The Steelers had more yards & twice as many 1st downs, not too much unlike the Pitt-Oakland game the week prior; except both offenses scored more. The Broncos didn't "kick the crap" out of anybody. Also, the first game Oak-Den game in Denver was 13-3. It's pretty unreal how many games Pittsburgh has given away with turnovers this year: just think Bills-Jets 4 times over except with a much better rush defense.
  19. Jaworski & Vermeil were pretty terrific in that Chargers-Raiders game on the first week; too bad they don't do every game
  20. Fair enough; Fairchild was groomed by Martz, so maybe that's part of it. They threw quick & short pretty much exclusively vs. Miami, and that was no offensive clinic. Also, Shelton caught a couple balls yesterday, which I assume wee 3steps; but I'd be lying if I said I counted steps when watching a game.
  21. Only opened at 11.5, looks like a pretty good bargain.
  22. To each his own I guess. Until we make those plays vs. NE I'm going to remain unimpressed. I don't know what you were expecting on Sunday, but I expected a win vs. a bad NFC team at home because those are the games the Bills always win. I might add most of the ESPN haters picked us as well. Favre has been throwing games away like that for years - particularly on the road; not withstanding a couple good games in Detroit & Miami this year.
  23. Sorry I'll try harder to mix in some namecalling and question others' fandom next time....as long as I don't criticize the team I'm all growns up
  24. Your blind fanboy cheerleader crap is what's ridiculous. Just so we're consistent - when we killed the Jets statistically, we didn't lose the game right? The Jets just won it with their top notch swiss cheese defense?
