  1. Fortunately there is a new station in town....so much better than the garbage on 610. Yep, Philly fans are dense. Granted McNabb & Reid butcher clock management a lot, but at the end of the day he's easily the best QB in the NFC.
  2. Sal the writer? Sounds like a Howard Stern character. If my memory is correct they did the same thing for a Jets game a few years ago in Buffalo - tv likes the 4:00 spot for the NY audience.
  3. Is Rex Grossman playing all-time QB?
  4. The inconsistency w/ roughing the passer is maddening also. Tripplett didn't get flagged for leading w/ his helmet but Kelsay gets flagged for a love-tap to the chest.
  5. @Oak 27-0 Tennessee 40-7 @SF 48-19 St. Louis 38-24 Only two losses vs. 7-5 and 9-2 teams on the road by 3 points. But they barely beat Oakland yesterday! Clearly this proves they're no good
  6. Of course they could. Getting more than 3 at home w/ a team that needs the win more involving 2 evenly matched teams isn't something you find every week though.
  7. Woot, Pats pulled it out despite some uncharacteristic bad calls going against them. You were right on Oak-SD, Atlanta had some chances but squandered a lot. Giants are getting 3.5 at home vs. Dallas? That looks sexy.
  8. Another thing I haven't seen mentioned: Willis killed a free blitzer on the interception. But "zomg he's a horrible blocker because I saw a replay of him getting beat vs. the Jets"
  9. He ran thru a couple DB's right at the marker, which happens....no excuse for the LB to miss 2 yards shy though.
  10. Didn't Fletcher completely whiff on the Girrard scramble?
  11. Nah, LT2 has a better chance of getting hurt.
  12. My thoughts
  13. The Raiders do need somebody who can run routes.
  14. It's amazing how one totally independant event (offense) can affect the perception of another unit .
  15. So my starting QB completes a hail marry TD and the recepient is a #4 WR whom my opponent happens to have on his roster and starting this week. Pretty typical of my season.
  16. You can't stop Cheslak
  17. WTF? Time for a new job.
  18. And one nasty blitz pickup which apparantly went unnoticed.
  19. I kinda hope the Ravens win just so I can fade them next thurs. night in Cincy at a small number (I thought I never wagered on Bengal games? ). SD-Oak is traditionally a visitors series, but the Chargers stand a much better chance at a backdoor cover given the possibility of the Raiders offense getting scored on late vs. Moss' inevitable quitting if they're losing late. Still fully expect the -10 pt fantasy performance from Grossman that we've all come to know and love. G/L.
  20. I wish that wasn't a good question
  21. I'm pretty sure if the chronology of the GW-MM eras were reversed, more people would agree w/ me that GW was worse.
  22. Their D getting lit up didn't surprise me, but I thought they would have an easier time scoring. USC's defense may actually be better than I had thought, in which case should give OSU a pretty good game. Indeed. That's somewhere between ND-Navy and SU-Rutgers on the list of rematches I want to see.
  23. Yeah, that part is like, really important. As much as it would suck to draft the next Bills Mike Williams it would really suck to draft the next Lions Mike Williams.
  24. Anyone who considers benching LJ deserves to lose. Westbrook over Gore because Westbrook scores more and the 49ers suck bad on the road.
  25. One good reason is that most places had ND +8.5
