  1. I dunno, based on the last 2 weeks Price evidently needs possession up until the following play's whistle plus 18 feet down between the hashmarks.
  2. OMFG CHALLENGE THIS
  3. Thinking about picking up Sammy Morris for my fantasy team next week.
  4. Hold 'em to 3 here or the game's over.
  5. my bad. WTF happened to Willis?
  6. Because we have the best kick returner in the league?
  7. Well it's probably the least sucky part of his game so relatively speaking...
  8. Hopefully the Pats draft a "U" MLB next year
  9. I can't fathom why any OC would throw more than 15 times in a game against us.
  10. Indy's run defense, LOL
  11. I'd like to make the provision of a non-QB since otherwise it seems destined to turn into a tired JP discussion and/or the tired Manning-Brady debate. I'm having a tough time deciding between Gates and Pace. A top-notch DT would help enormously but I'm not sure who the best current one is right now (Jammal Williams?).
  12. So is McGahee going to play or not? Need to know for FF purposes. I've been critical of his gamebreaking ability, so to be fair I think it's retarded to say "he only averaged x.z ypc minus that run" - most good backs break a long run sometimes and that TD vs. Jax is what this offense needs.
  13. Seems like an easy start for Green. It's not like the Ravens don't give up plays thru the air.
  14. Bells/Smith/Lelie were their skill players last year? That's not good at all.
  15. Well 1 for 4 - JP is more durable. Guts/stats/won games late comparisons aren't valid.
  16. That may be true, but I still think it was a good move. I hate to bring up Dallas because Romo is of course a big anomaly, but there are similarities in that you can't win a SB with Bledsoe/Plummer. I doubt that a grizzled top-notch coach like Shannahan succumbed to outside pressure or whatever.
  17. That would be Merril Reese - every August he thinks the Eagles are the best team in the league - may as well be a Dolphins fan. Passing on Ngata looks pretty awful in retrospect though.
  18. They beat SD by 3 at home in a Sept. game which they were outplayed for 55 minutes. Cincy they beat at home by 6 thanks to a defensive TD, and they lost @Cincy by 6 in a game that wasn't that close. Atlanta stinks, Pitt is 'meh', @NO is their only really impressive win in that bunch.
  19. I don't want to sound condescending, but the idea is to play whoever you think will score the most points. Worrying about 'sharing' points is a huge mistake. If Palmer hooks up with TJ Housh you'll feel like an idiot. Rudi could have a nice game yardage-wise, but he rarely finds the endzone more than once.
  20. As usual I hate your picks. Don't really strongly disagree, it's just a tough week overall IMO. The Colts never have been a team that really feeds off emotion or anger - they're very mechanical. If Manning doesn't play great they're going to struggle, if he does they win. If I were to go w/ a road favorite I'd prefer Philly or Seattle over Indy or Atlanta. Leaning Miami +3.5 and NO +7 as the games I like most, but I'll probly just take the week off.
  21. Were they also a great story in 2000 when they came out of nowhere to win the division in Haslett's first year?
  22. You mean you're not pumped for Bears-Rams Mon night?
