  1. Hey Chris Fowler & co. still bring it up. Biggest B.S. 4th down interference call ever.
  2. Because the pathetic SEC refs gave them their first game of the year.
  3. Sad and true.
  4. Rex Grossman just wins football games.
  5. Called it a month ago http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showt...mp;#entry885764
  6. Grossman may be the most exciting player in the league to watch. Literally anything can happen on every single play.
  7. Yep, and this has been the case ever since Houston came into the league. And still, nobody understands it no matter how many times you explain it. ZOMG Indy is @NE again? Obviously there's a bunch of NFL exec's sitting around in a room determining home/away schedules on an arbitrary basis.
  8. Oh whatever - I thought late season home games were a good thing for us, especially vs. Fla/CA teams; now we're bitching about it?
  9. Nice - I've spent more time watching old wrestling matches on that site than I'd care to admit.
  10. I'm not trying to be a prick but is this based on something other than like 2-3 plays in the December Jets/Dolphins games? I remember Lonnie Johnson torching the Jets when Todd Collins was here and he said after the game: "every dog has his day". That's about how I feel about Royal.
  11. Agree completely. I want to stab my eyes out every time TRob touches the ball above the foul line - it's like a turnover waiting to happen. I don't think Watkins & NBA really go together. But I thought the same about Etan Thomas & Jason Hart, so what the heck do I know. Anyway, most unimpressive win ever tonight vs. a bad team at home, but we'll take it I guess.
  12. Word, I dunno why people are so pre-occupied with height; just find a player at WR or TE who is better than Price and/or Royal.
  13. "If AJ still hates you next year, you're fired while only collecting 22% of your salary".
  14. Pretty sure that was the reason for the strike that year. Al Michaels: "Smith is a guy who spent most of his Jr & Sr years in college".
  15. Rofl how is that not a flag?
  16. Thanks. Wasn't Denver favored in this game?
  17. Yeah it was a good play but I mean, he's not the first WR to go for a strip after an int. McCree still had to drop the ball and NE still had to recover (fumble recoveries are basically 95% luck). Like I said though, not many teams win @SD down 8 with 6 minutes left just because they get "2nd life" in their territory. As a random footnote, Deion Branch probably made the sickest "heady" play by a WR I've ever seen in KC this year: he strips the DB has he's falling out of bounds and taps his feet before his upper body touched the chalk. It was like "that guy's still a Patriot".
  18. A little of both but I'd say more of the former. As much as everyone hates every announcer, their commentary has a huge subconscious impact on people's perception of a game. I agree - that's one of the biggest bonehead plays of the season. Yet Andy Reid's decision to punt on 4th&15 gets way more ink - even though the vast majority of time, it really doesn't matter at all what the coach decides to do in that spot. I guess it's just more fun to rip coaches
  19. Those are my thoughts too. The fumble after the int was a stroke of luck that graces NE more often than anybody else. But they still needed a sick parlay of plays to win the game in regulation after that play: a TD, 2pointer, 3&out defensive stop, and FG drive...not many teams get that done.
  20. Your point was clearly that the guy did a complete 180 as a result of 1 game, which is obviously incorrect. You can tell me that your primary concern at halftime of the Bucs game (after a 9-7 season and 1-0 start) was "well who cares about the outcome but at least JP is getting reps". I'm sorry, I don't buy it. You don't have to go back more than a couple months to find this very board littered with playoff talk with a 5-7 team because they almost beat a good team at home.
  21. So if JP had played well vs. Tampa & ATL he still would've been benched after 1 bad game vs. NO? Right
  22. OMG a coach lied about his QB situation to avoid a media circus? Get out
