    Would you do anything else when facing a QB afraid to throw downfield?

    Give them enough chances and they will score points..our D is solid, above average imo. Running game is average, the passing game is what holds us back...which shouldn't be the case with our weopons..we've been needing a solid QB for a long time now.

    That is likely the reason for the dual HB offensive look...gives more ways to attack with the run and gives TE more checkdown looks with an increased chance of a back being left uncovered..I don't like it personally but I understand the thought process..plus it gets both ML and Jackson on the feild at the same time.

    Playing it safe is what gets us in trouble. One risk all game, 7 points to show for it. What else do we have right now?

    Besides the 4th down conversions its working..good pressure. Obviously a lot of weak spots on their line up the gap, it is why they keep running a close formation as well.
