I like Turner and want him to be a Bill but not for the 12th pick in the draft. Swaping firsts and also getting the Chargers 3rd or 4th as well sounds like a good deal.
Both aging, both played on only one team before coming to the Bills, both virtually the same weight and height, and both jersey numbers are in 90's...any of those right?
I think we will be in the first round two times on draft day. We have two 3rd rounders and maybe a 3rd when we trade Spikes(which seems like there is a 90% chance of happening). All these picks and not an extreme amount of cap space, trading up is what seems most likely.

Eagles eyeing Spikes
<Mar. 26> The Eagles have jumped to the front of the Spikes sweepstakes and something could happen quickly, reports ESPN.com's John Clayton. The Bills have quietly shopped Spikes him for the past few weeks with the Eagles and Giants showing the most interest.
Spikes is hoping to hear sometime Monday that a deal could be done. The plan would be for Spikes to play outside linebacker for the Eagles. The former Bengal was also willing to go back to Cincinnati but the Bengals weren't interested in his $4.5 million salary.
Coming off an Achilles tendon injury, Spikes played in 12 games last season. He finished with 70
You're 100% right but its still something to look at. Last year many expected us to take him and have him in the starting line up last year. It turns out he didn't do that in Philly in his first year and as of right now you can only look at that. This article has given me a little more confidence in Marv.
Your right, hes not proven as a full time running back and he is just not worth a 1st and 3rd. If they drop it to say a late 2nd/early 3rd then I would give Turner more consideration.
Joe Theismann: He compares extremely well to Thurman Thomas, but Thomas gets the edge because he went to four Super Bowls and without him that Bills team isn't nearly as good. Not to say that the Rams were a great team without Faulk, but Thomas was more of the engine than Faulk was.
