I couldn't agree more that this team has the potential to be VERY entertaining! Speed is the common thread here with the WR's and the fact that Willis McGahee is quicker and faster than last year. I also think that Robert Royal is going to be a huge plus in Buffalo. I like him a ton!!

hey Eball, you're going to have to change your name to eyeBalls after next Sundays' Bills victory... Buffalo Bills 28 New England Patriots 23

Sorry, I'm the least likely to provide a LINK.... Don't know how.... Anyway, the ESPNRadio.com gets you there and click on ALL NIGHT that's on the upper banner. Then you'll have a picture of Jason Smith and the Info will be just below!

The "always correct" crack ESPN staff experts are doing a "Season before the season" segment, and its into week 13. If the actual results are similar to their projections, I'm loving it!!! Look under the current standings icon.....

What happened to Ochs & Woodbury?
Bflojohn replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I went over to Ourlads scouting service and checked their roster (as of 8/29). The two QB's were listed on "reserve- injured", along with the identification of NFLEL. That was the extent of it actually. I do NOT know if this is considered the same as I.R. that ends a players season before it even starts. -
FWIW B'gals cuts that might be of
Bflojohn replied to stuckincincy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
First off, it's Eric Henderson chief.... No biggie, but I've said all week that if he was cut loose that the Bills should be calling his agent. I believe that he is better than Eric Powell. I think he can play! -
This trade is probably Mike McMahons' ticket out of the National Football League!!

Holy Crap, Check Out what Neil Rackers can do

Predictions for next roster cuts
Bflojohn replied to billsfan182's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
One thing for SURE.... Next week the local sports pages will have to take up 37 pages (Yes, slight exaggeration!) for 704 football players cut, league wide!! Holy cow, that's going to take hours to study in the transaction section of the paper. As for the Bills, well here goes! 1.) Tory Woodbury, QB 2.)Craig Ochs, QB 3.) Shaud Williams, RB 4.) Jon Goldsberry, FB 5.) Andre Davis, WR 6.) Jonathan Smith, WR 7.) Brad Cieslak, TE 8.) Terrence Pennington, OT 9.) Aaron Merz, OG 10.) Jason Thomas, OG 11.) Ryan Neill, DE 12.) Jason Hall, DE 13.) Lauvale Sape, DT 14.) Jason Jefferson, DT 15.) Joe Odom, ILB/OLB 16.) John DiGiorgio, ILB 17.) Coy Wire, SS 18.) Eric Bassey, CB 19.) Kiwaukee Thomas, CB 20.) Jim Leonard, FS 21.) Alan Ricard, FB 22.) Mario Haggan, OLB The last two on my list were the hardest, that's why they are NOT grouped in their positional list, so to speak. The Practice Squad should include these candidates. Terrence Pennington, Ryan Neill, Martin Nance, and Aaron Merz. I think with this many cuts pending, the Bills might scour the cut list and add players from around the league. Just my opinion! -
If I were the GM in Houston with the scenario you propose, I'd approach the Chargers about Michael Turner before I ever called the Bills about McGahee. He is simply a better player in my mind!!

By the way, the "tail wagging the dog" regime is over and a football coach is in town making decisions on who merits starting or who doesn't! As for the conspiracy theorists, Marv has the complete trust of Ralph and Dick surely has this bond with Marv, so where does this lead..... to poor posts that hold a guy from his appointed rounds! Sad, very sad!

Could JP be the next great Bills QB?
Bflojohn replied to Tolstoy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The way I see it, J.P. is getting more comfortable in the pocket, and even a novice fan can take note of that. His ax to grind right now is the sense that he's completely in-charge and honing his field general skills so he CAN take it to the next level. If the proof is how far he's come since last season, the odds are extremely good in my estimation!! -
Classic case of "tale between our legs syndrome" that these major outlets are often NOT taken to task about! I called Sirius one day and the pontificator himself, Randy Cross compared J.P. Losman to one of the great thespian actors of our time in "Dude, where's my car?". Truthfully, they know VERY little about certain teams and the Bills are definately HIGH on that list!!!

I'm a little suprised no one caught this but the Bills played in Super Bowl XXV folks, unless my understanding of Roman numerals has waned lately. The Bears won in 1985, which would have been XX, I believe! Sorry Pyrite Gal. Oh, by the way, I'm a lot like Ajzepp too. I flew back to NYC in April for the draft, live. Had the time of my life (football offseason wise) and I pour over every tidbit of information know to man about football ( or in this case fan)!!

I Just Heard Schein and Wilcox talk about
Bflojohn replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It is NOT unusual for a young QB to mature throughout an ENTIRE season. Dick Jauron can NOT feed him to the wolves early by benching him. The possibility exists that J.P.'s best games in '06 will likely be the last eight!! It is simply a process and that has to be played out. I say give him a season to REALLY see if he's the guy. This regime has time.... use it wisely to help him succeed in this league, to learn how to win games, and get a sense of poise and confidence! -
Don't ever wonder about the state of QBing in the NFL, this signing addresses the abysmal situation most teams have. There are probably 10 QB's worthy of starting status and the rest are journeymen who have to start. Pitiful really!!
-
My major complaint withMcGahee is the way he just gives up on some runs. Has he EVER reversed against the flow of the defense? He had such a run against the Browns, and when they seemingly hemmed him in....down he goes! It sometimes looks like he was shot!! If his "burst" is indeed back, then outrun the "D" to the corner Willis and CREATE a big play.

I absolutely love the Sabres, but give me the Bills any day of the week! NFL Football is King!!!

Who is your Favorite Bill now and all time
Bflojohn replied to bills_fan_in_raleigh's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Favorite now: QB J.P. Losman All-time favorite Bill: DE Bruce Smith -
My feeling is that this club will have "some" growing pains, but the excitement generated will be palpable for any Bills fan! I don't think its out of the realm of possibility that quite a few of the "questions" will be answered in the affirmative. Usually, it takes a new regime a full year to reap rewards, and the Bills probably won't be any different. The upcoming season holds PLENTY of ups and downs, but that gets my attention. I'd say 7-9, but 9-7 isn't out of the question!

Bills game may be on NFL Network

What is the biggest question mark
Bflojohn replied to BoondckCL's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
PASS RUSH, PASS RUSH, and , oh, pass rush!! The interior "D" must push the pocket in New England. If they don't, Brady will have a field day. Time for Larry Tripplett to justify his salary. I believe he will, along with Kyle Williams and John McCargo!! -
I think StL Bills said it with eloquence and flowing prose! Close to my sentiments. By the way, stay away!!
-
Well, THAT was 36 posts that went absolutely nowhere! Frankly, the jury is still deliberating about the merits of Aaron Gibson making this team. I will chime in that the sway seems to be leaning towards Mr. Gibson making the team. The reason that he was "moved" to ORG was to increase his versitility and hence, his worth. OUT!!!

Thoughts on last nights game
Bflojohn replied to Oneonta Buffalo Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was KIDS night, what do older Bills fans expect. They had their fun, burned off some energy and everyone is happy. No big deal from where I sit!
