  1. I will continue to believe that the loss of Dick LaBeau is what caused the fall of the defense.
  2. Whatever doctor that told TD he should be concerned about Weis' health needs to be shot and probably graduated from ND. And i think the genius move by TD and Co. of letting Dick LaBeau leave had more negative implications on this defense's "performance" this season than Phat Pat (who was great when he played but only played 1/3 of the defensive snaps). Clements couldn't lock me down in one on one coverage, but then again I am a high motor guy with a knack for running precise routes. Chris Chambers 15 catches for 238 yards...no he's definitely a lock down corner. Now one thing i will say is that we barely have a semblance of a pass rush and sometimes that kills him, but i can recall some big plays where he just got torched on some moves. I would agree thats its not the most attractive job in the NFL but its still a job in the NFL and thats attractive enough I was just gonna ask that...damn!
  3. A more telling stat is JPs average time in the pocket .326 seconds before he has to scramble, throw the ball away, or take a sack
  4. ah yes these same fans know about as much about personnel decisions as our current regime...why don't you regale us with what you see our offseason shaping up like? maybe its because you know sh-- about football personnel decisions? People are just trying to remember the good days when we weren't cheering for the worst team in the league when our whole squad was hyped up by the organization... we were led to believe that 1. willis was elite...he is average at best, even average backs will break a long TD run once in a season 2. JP was ready to manage games...he was not, but i think is progressing well 3. this defense was one of the all-time greats...nuff said. don't bash on people for venting frustration and coming up with some illogical solutions. As Bills fans we just want to see a playoff contender again and the last time we had a run of playoff teams was with wade and before that with marv. leave people alone or at least put some ideas of your own forth in an open forum, just giving people sh-- is juvenile.
  5. Even though in his hay day jesus had a big arm and was a high motor guy.
  6. we'll see how he does when the game is on the line...it really doesnt much matter. Jesus could be our QB and he would suck with the "protection" this line provides
  7. Watch Drew...he'll blow the game tonight for dallas.
  8. I previously said i would stop liking the bills if JJ was brought in...my opinion has changed i just want to cheer for a decent team again and if JJ can help that then bring him on. If you were JJ would you give up beautiful south FL weather for the sh-- im seeing on tv (I'm talking weather and the product on the field)???
  9. Shoulda saved that draft pick and picked up a different useless player...please god let the Bills somehow get a big receiver in the draft (stovall).
  10. HAHAHA would the banner curse work in reverse for TD?
  11. "Bills fans should take solice in the fact that this game could be a lot closer if this offense wakes up." Phil must have run into TD during halftime cuz only TD or one of his puppets could spin their performance. I meant Randy.
  12. Well its 65 and sunny here in San Antone...later everybody! f*** this team.
  13. Ferguson would have to put on 50+ lbs to be the next mike williams
  14. WM has made skillz in terms of public speaking...i want him to present ralph
  15. I too would like to see willis in the backfield on third down, but MM uses him as a sideline decoy
  16. People are talking about other things cuz it sucks talking about this current set of Bills...who cares if a "rival" is coming in cuz even if we jump ahead they'll come back and beat our asses...JP is the only thing i even have interest in watching tomorrow
  17. At first I was simply convinced Mularkey was just trying to show he wouldnt kowtow to Moulds and other vets a la the Holcombe case, but if it is true that EM refused to play then the bills shouldn't pay him another cent, because EM is evidentally nothing but a bush leaguer. My hatred for TD and MM almost made me completely lose sight of how EM handled his relationship with JP and how i saw him in person at the NO game dog it on the INT JP threw. And as was stated above its not like he's a classy individual off the field...and yes that does matter. Screw EM, let him move on to toil in mediocrity somewhere else because hes brought nothing positive to the table this year in helping this team grow around a new QB.
  18. Defense was 2nd in yards allowed in 99 and 7th in 98 so yes our defense was a big part of that team's success but the point is he won...not like Drew who twice had the No.2 defense in the league (in 03 and 04) and managed a blistering 15-17 record. In the consummate team sport don't tell me that doug didn't keep that team in games...1-3 before he took over.
  19. I loved Doug and I would have had a piece of sh-- attitude too if I was screwed over like he was. If i prove to be a successful QB (22-9 nuff said) and I get benched right before a playoff run in which i was a catalyst after an 0-3 start then you better believe i would be full of piss and vinegar. This organization lost all its class slowly but surely after that episode pulled off by whomever...whether it was Wade, Butler or Ralph (eric moulds wasn't into naming QBs at that point in his career) the situation was beginning of this slide into less than mediocre state. No matter where Doug played he was a winner (except NE) and thats all that matters in sports. People on this board crack on others for not liking superstars (ridiculous by the way) and only want blue collar guys...i say it looks like Bills fan knows sh-- about football if they can't see that Doug helped save this franchise when it was in its 12th hour in Buffalo and regardless of his perceived (and justified) "attitude" problem there should be respect given to a man who brought excitement back into a city not by sheer hype ala the TD era, but by producing W's with his play on the field...and lastly, i would only expect to hear someone say that doug was easy to gameplan for...keep him in the pocket...in theory you are correct, but obviously a 22-9 record says executing that easy gameplan is rather difficult...everyone needs to get a clue. Who the f*** cares...22-9 =71% effective and thats ok in my book...even if we win every game 3-0 or 6-3...tell me you wouldn't take that effectiveness right now.
  20. TO and thats it???? How bout Marvin Harrison, Chad Johnson, TJ Housh, Roy Williams (when hes healthy), Randy Moss, Mushin Mohammad, Steve Smith, Chris Chambers ( ), Reggie Wayne, Hines Ward, Plaxico Burress, and you know what I'll even throw Brandon Lloyd in there thats more productive than eric.
  21. You have all season long. I am not a fan of Moulds anymore, and I thought his attitude towards JP was utter BS. And his lack of effort on the field was pathetic, but I don't think MM and the organization handled this situation right. MM let EM walk all over him during the JP/Holcombe debate, but then all of a sudden got tough with him? Come on. I think what this situation shows is that MM is an absolute weak dick.
