Here we go "Coach" 1,200 yards this season is not as impressive as his 1,100 in 11 starts last year. Last year he was fantastic but he's been the biggest disappointment this season on the offensive side of the ball. Willis is not a big play threat, he doesn't break tackles and certainly isn't a top 10 back in this league. Of the top 30 rushers this season only Lamont Jordan and Jamal Lewis had long runs this season shorter than Willis' 27 yarder. While i think willis is a good back, right now he's nothing more than a louder version of travis henry. His stats are comparable to TH but TH never opened his mouth wide enough to stick both feet in like willis did earlier this season. I think willis can be a very good back in this league and yes the o-line needs to improve, but willis is not the elite back that some would leave you to believe. He's just a work horse. The elite backs like Shaun Alexander, Tiki Barber, Larry Johnson, and LT change games, willis simply does not do that he pounds the ball and rips off the occasional 7-yarder.
