  1. Absolutely the worst mock i've ever seen. Sam Baker isn't going to sniff the top ten IMHO. And JaMarcus Russell???? HAHAHAHA. These guys really know their football and really must watch a lot of Bills games. "What the Bills really need is a stud offensive tackle but since there isn't much value left there they instead opt for a top signal caller. The current regime in Buffalo has never been big fan's of J.P. Losman and he hasn't really done much to change their opinions this year so considering they weren't responsible for bringing him into the fold they would have no problem moving on from that mistake. Even though Brian Brohm gets more attention JaMarcus Russell is actually a better pro prospect and while the Daunte Culpepper comparisons are pretty accurate what really stands out is his arm strength, which might be as good as anyone's in the game. At any level." Obviously the "JP Losman is our starting QB for the next season and forseeable future" quote by Dick was a bluff. Just so they could get russell. Nice research morons.
  2. A side note....its so funny how EVERY single white wr is compared to Ed McCafferey, no matter what skills they possess. Thats a form of racial profiling...someone get me the Reverend.
  3. First off, I am NOT defending Dick's move yesterday as I think the 3rd down play call was atrocious considering the fact they knew they were going on 4th. But... On the field conditions are COMPLETELY different from what goes on in the stands. Just look at the flags on the goal posts, they can be completely motionless while passes turn into 12-6 curveballs. I remember being at the Vikings game this year, it was calm in the stands, but the balls wouldn't stay on the tee and Moorman's punts were dying like wounded quails. Tasker, though he was terrible on 90% of his points yesterday, did a good job of explaining where the wind was the worst, and how badly it swirls. I also think Bills fans take for granted just how good Norwood and Christie were at negotiating the winds at the Ralph.
  4. I don't buy the o-line is crap argument anymore. This line has been performing much better lately. When Willis just puts the pedal to the metal he's been quite effective, but too many times he dances and holes close up. Watch a guy like LT, he makes one cut into the hole and is gone, but Willis will cut before the hole, and then it closes. No matter how good your oline is they can only keep holes open for so long.
  5. I think a win cannot haunt a team period. Winning would've made next weeks game feel like a playoff game and given JP and the rest of the team a little taste of late season meaningful football, and now next week means very little in the grand scheme of things. Even if they had gone 9-7 and missed out on the playoffs this team would have some real swagger going into next season. As it stands right now we have a brutal schedule next season: Home: Jets, Pats, Phish, Dallas, Cincy, Balt, G-men, and as it stands right now KC Road: Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Philly, Washington and right now Jacksonville again. Those are some real tough opponents, and one injury to JP or Lee Evans, and we're looking at a terrible season, but yeah winning yesterday would have sucked for this team because everything is a given from year to the next in the NFL.
  6. I was thinking the same thing. Arm tackles arm tackles arm tackles. And that comes from coaching.
  7. HAHAHAHAHAHA You realize that the line did a decent job and we couldn't stop the run all season are pretty close to oxymoronic statements? The defense made 0 big stops when they needed to this season and all of those times the teams ran right through our "decent" d-line. 2007 schedule: Home Games: Baltimore Cincy Dallas G-Men Fish Pats Jets And an AFC west opponent Road Games: Cleveland Pittsburgh Philly Washington (Nate will definitely take one back against us here) Fish Pats Jets And an AFC south opponent No matter who's on our roster that has the potential to be a brutal schedule, especially if the D-line is not addressed as we will face teams and coaches that stick with a ground attack.
  8. I agree with the point on the play calling, but there has been a lot of credit given to fairchild on the development on JP. I know when the game ended I said they should be fired, but i've calmed down and i've realized this staff has done a lot well, and we'll see what this team does in the off season and how they come out next year when hopes will be high and a playoff berth will be expected.
  9. Like I have said before I don't have a problem with going for it on 4th down, the problem i have is the play call on 3rd down. If he knew he was going on 4th then they should have run the football on third and had a play ready for 4th down. The play calling was unacceptable IMHO but i don't coach football so who am i.
  10. If thats what Dick believed then the call on third down is the worst coaching call that i have seen in quite some time. Made absolutely no sense.
  11. Jauron is an idiot. On third and 5 we call some very stupid pass play. It was a completely clueless move. If he knew we were going on 4th the pass on 3rd makes no sense whatsoever, absolutely ridiculous.
  12. Yeah that was a pretty funny joke at the end of the game. I can't believe what i just witnessed. You cannot justify what just happened.
  13. If he knew he would go on fourth then that 3rd down play was the worst call i've ever seen. He just cost us any shot at the playoffs. Thanks dick.
  14. A play does not become a pass play until he throws the football.
  15. That must be difficult for him to sort out his own thoughts
  16. According to JArthur they just lost, they should have kicked a FG to go for the win.
  17. Now i have to listen to Shannon Sharpe during halftime.
  18. Actually i put in a specific year beyond this year and i got his future salary numbers edit: and when i clicked on his name it showed all his future salaries under his contract.
  19. I looked him up and it says hes making 500,000 this year. I thought we signed him long term?
  20. Ah yes you're right I totally said this is where congress needs to get involved. I said Cincinnati, in my eyes, is a complete joke of an organization, because a complete joke of a person, Chris Henry is still collecting a paycheck, and I would be saying the same thing if this were Lee Evans or Willis McGahee. After a 7 month period where i was arrested 4 times I probably wouldn't have a job. I simply commented on how the ORGANIZATION is pathetic because they have failed completely to police their employees, again i can totally see where you got "we need to have governmental control in the NFL." And you're right I'll presume that C.Henry was completely innocent in all four instances where he was arrested, because that's our system. Every single one of my friends that has been arrested may not have been guilty of anything technically, but they were putting themselves in situations where arrests were possible. Luckily for me, I'm not on C.Henry's jury, and i can sit here and look at the whole picture and see that he probably isn't the smartest or best person in the world since he has been arrested 4 times in 7 months. Lets talk about the Bears and Chargers now. Tank Johnson has been punished for this game, holy crap, before his trial. Again, probably not the brightest guy in the world, as he had a small arsenal in his home while living in suburbia, totally needed by the way. If he's found guilty I would hope that the Chicago Bears tell him to piss off. The Chargers put Steve Foley on the non-football injury list, and will probably be released this off season with the emergence of Shaun Phillips, and oh yeah he hasn't collected a check all year because of his brilliant decision to take on a cop. And we also can look at Shawn Merriman. While I do not advocate steroid use, he is not a criminal on C. Henry's level as his steroid use did not put the lives of others in jeopardy, as did henry by getting behind the wheel of a car while drunk. Merriman has served a league mandated suspension for breaking LEAGUE rules and not society's laws. Again nowhere on the criminal level of Henry and the rest of the gangstas in Cincy. Finally, all I was commenting on was the state of the Bengals organization and why C Henry should be out of football in my opinion, because he's screwed up enough to justify being fired, and would never support bringing him to Buffalo. So if from those comments you can come up with me supporting the government policing the NFL then obviously you have a reading comprehension problem. The organizations need to police themselves and their employees like any business in this country, and the Bengals thus far, in my eyes, have failed miserably. Merry Christmas everyone.
