  1. Your son is a Broncos fan? This is why corporal punishment needs to be introduced to this generation. My mom once bought me on of those corny football uniforms with the plastic helmets and the shoulder pads that used to choke you to death but somehow she bought me Boomer Esiason's Bengals get up. I wore it once and brought shame upon my house I thought my Uncle Russ was going to kill me and leave me in a ditch (he looks and sounds like Paulie Walnuts) I was afraid to wear it after that. GO BILLS!!!
  2. does CBS have no ability to show replays on penalties?
  3. that was a pathetic half of football but we're still in it. Two penalties have really been the difference in that half having a much different feel.
  4. To me a top-10 QB must be someone who can take you down and score a game winning TD/FG etc. so I would have to take Brett Favre and Kurt Warner off that list. They may have been top-10 in the past, and in Favre's case top-10 all time, but both of those guys turn the ball over way too much to be top-10 QBs right now. And I also think Romo is a top-5 QB but again he is a turnover machine at times and must at least out perform the other team's QB in a playoff game before he's the best. Statistically he's great, but turning the ball over in big spots and losing playoff games really hurts his best QB in the league bid. Just my $.02.
  5. I personally don't think we have really stretched the field enough. Once we start throwing down the field a little more space will open for our backs to run. Also, the backs have been mighty productive catching passes out of the back field, so while our running stats may not be great our backs have been plenty productive. GO BILLS!!!
  6. Wow. The NBA refs are the worst and its not even close. I'd say MLB umps are right 95% of the time and rarely does a missed call in a baseball game cost one team a victory, whereas in the NBA one call, or a bevy of calls, as was the case in the Kings-Lakers series, can absolutely hand one team a victory. The NFL needs younger refs, they do a fairly good job but some are just too old to keep up with the game. Thank you sir. I was thinking the same thing when I read that post.
  7. Holy crap if it came down to a last second FG how many of our hearts would even make it out of that alive. I'd die from the stress because you know there would probably be a commercial break right before the kick I know i couldn't take it. I hope when the Bills go again its a blow out either way I just couldnt take a heartbreaker.
  8. Amen. There is nothing more enjoyable than reading someone new coming in and trying to debate Crayonz
  9. i honestly think it will just be the biggest party ever. I've lived in San Antonio now for the last two Spurs championships and the party is awesome and non violent and thats because everyone here is a spurs fan so everyone gets along. I really hope that when they win the Super Bowl its a huge party and no rioting people already look at our city with disdain. And I would much rather be in a bar in Buffalo than at the game when it happens!
  10. We don't know how good our DEs can be because they have never played with a legit DT now they have Stroud and an emerging McCargo. But please feel free to leap off that ledge.
  11. Every single team in the NFL is in trouble if their best o-lineman goes down (IE Orlando Pace). We needed a few impact players before depth on the o-line. Every team prays they stay healthy because if they don't they're in trouble...welcome to the salary cap age. It is beyond ridiculous that people are not happy with this draft especially since you CANNOT grade a draft the day it ends it takes a few years at least. So everyone shut up and realize we've got what could be a shutdown corner and a great WR prospect.
  12. %$@# the guys on ESPN aren't talking about him...we should just cut him now. And evidently playing in the number one offense in the land last season means nothing, and i don't know how you watched so many college football games and didn't even stumble upon the Kansas Jayhawks. I hope that I am just interpreting you're comments incorrectly and you are being sarcastic, because it's a late 4th round choice, at this point you're looking for project players not immediate impact players. This board makes my head want to explode...where's my duct tape?
  13. DAMMIT! billsevans knows more than our front office! We're doooooomed
  14. This pick was to add talent to a secondary that needs to beat the spread offense of the New England Patriots I like it.
  15. Vince Young and his 11% completion percentage is why he's going to fail.
  16. holy sh--! I still don't trade up until the first WR is taken b/c i think it will be Thomas and he lacks good hands which is key in a person who is supposed to catch things for a living.
  17. I love the mckelvin pick he absolutely shut down calvin johnson a few seasons ago and he's very physical and the best tackler in the draft at CB
  18. He can't catch the football according to Mel Kiper oh no!!! I'm guessing the opposition didn't throw at him all that much. I really like this pick our defense is going to develop into a beast or the players will develop and then they'll be a beast for another team
  19. God I hope Nelson isn't the guy! Sweed is much more of a game changer.
