  1. I remember Peja Stojackovic being out for a long time due to this injury while he was still with the Sacramento Kings and from what I understand it can be very painful and turn into a chronic problem if it doesn't heal properly. I wonder if maybe the timetable for his return was uncertain and they didn't want to waste a roster spot for the rest of the season.
  2. 100% Trent Edwards' loss today he was an absolute bum. What happened to looking off and showing poise? He locked on to his first read all day this team better run the table in the division if they want a playoff berth
  3. whittle should not ever see the field again
  4. I just said the same thing he's killing us the last two games
  5. Wilfork's wife gave goodell a tape from and I'm not making this up the pats video department that showed an angle where her cheap shot husband not hitting cutler last week. Shouldn't the pats be treated as japan after WW II? No video department just like japan couldn't have a standing army?
  6. Oh holy crap where do I sign up to be part of this? Also, isn't this game a little over a month away? Why are we discussing this like it's news?
  7. I definitely think he's worth a shot since our pass rush is non existent
  8. Mcgee has been an absolute joke today. He has cost us the game this far
  9. have your friend go to a buffalo wild wings or fatsos sports garden. If he can get to Goomba's on 410 and blanco the owner rick perno is from buffalo and they'll have the game and some fantastic pizza and wings
  10. Too bad this thread wasn't started earlier a bunch of us get together I'm schertz to watch
  11. I would definitely let the front desk manager on duty aware of the issues. He/she will definitely try to remedy the situation as the room having an odor is a big issue and a current hot topic for hotels especially in coastal or humid areas as that can mean there is mildew in the walls. 179 is a great rate in miami but it doesn't mean their standards should be low. Anyways I'd let someone know because an unpleasant room is unacceptable for a hotel with the standards of a jw.
  12. I worked for Marriott for many years now I work for Starwood. What is wrong with the hotel? JWs are usually fantastic properties. And just an FYI star ratings are given based on amenities offered like 24 hour room service and the number of restaurants, parking etc, so theorhetically a hotel can have a 5-star rating even if the rooms are outdated. Also, if I'm not mistaken that hotel is actually a ExxonMobil 3-star and a AAA four diamond. 5-star hotels are few and far between. The Ritz-Carlton is always 5-star and so are brnads like the Luxury Collection. Sorry for the hotel stuff it just piqued my curiousity to hear a negative review of a JW.
  13. Amen. This is exactly how I feel. I hate everything about them. The team the city and the "fans' f*** em. Go Bills.
  14. Que the real men of genius fantasy league manager in 3,2,1....
  15. Did anyone see Bruschi come over and try to cure him just by touch?
  16. Where's the Almight Tedy? Doesn't he usually handle these issues?
  17. Blowing a lead in the fourth is not our bag...
  18. I believe that once Ronnie Brown breaks the tackle box all bets are off with regards to CP. He is lined up as a receiver and as soon as the QB breaks the tackles defenders can hit wide outs as long as they don't hold them while the ball is in the air. I don't see why Pennington would be any different just because he's a QB on the depth chart. With regards to the Wildcat (gayest formation name ever, by the way) it will only be a matter of time before it gets figured out by the rest of the league. I know that at one point the Fish were averaging less than half the yardage per play against SD than they were when they caught the Patriots* completely off guard. IMHO, you have your two OLBs spy Brown when he lines up in the backfield, and leave everyone else in a zone so they can stay turned towards the offense.
  19. Maybe a few DEs that could actually get to the QB would help then we wouldn't have to sell out with blitzes. Building a winner takes an o-line and a d-line that can win in the trenches and right now our DEs are well below average for this league and we got pushed around. I think the DE problem is pretty easy to spot due to the fact that Stroud is taking on multiple blockers and we still have no rush from the edge. This team is good but we are a pass rushing DE away from really becoming a dynamic defense.
  20. See above posts. Stroud completely transformed this defense. Yes, they had a bad game today but they've been solid all year. Stroud is a run stuffer and a space eater, the problem is our horrible DEs who still can't pressure anyone even with a top 10 DT eating two blockers at once. Schobel is an absolute joke but don't worry he'll get some sacks against the Jets, but I don't think he'll have his usual success against the Fish with that gimmick offense they run now. Freaking Beurlein during the broadcast was all over Schoebel's junk about how he has the most sacks since some random year and how the O always knows where he's at. And I kept think yes they do, because when he lines up 7 yards wide of the next lineman they run through the gap he leaves. Chris Ellis anyone?
  21. Thank you. I too saw nothing dirty with the hit on Trent. He got hurt when his head hit ground and it wouldn't have happened if he didn't get hit while his feet were off the ground. I hope he gets back quickly, JP is not good.
  22. I don't think Curt Warner, the old Seahawks running back and briefly with the Rams, was overrated. He had a couple of good seasons though and he was pretty good in Tecmo Bowl. I have watched my share of Cards games over the years because much of my family has relocated from Buffalo to the greater Phoenix area. My grandfather, who was a Bills fan when he lived in Buffalo but never crazy like the rest of our family, had season tickets to the Cards dating back to the Timm Rosenbach days, so i follow them. Offensively they can throw the ball, as has been stated earlier in the thread, but with Boldin out the Bills will be able to shade the defense to bottle up Fitz. They have a mediocre running game at best with Edge, but in my opinion, Tim Hightower, the rookie back up is much more explosive, and will get more and more carries as the season progresses. So, if the Bills can contain Fitz their offense shouldn't be too prolific. The wild card is Steve Breaston, who was great in college and has done well as a #3 WR but it remains to be seen if he can make the jump to a #2. Defensively, the Cards are vulnerable especially with Adrian Wilson out. They are giving up over 100 ypg, but are not as bad as some around here have said. Statistically, they are in the middle of the pack, but with Wilson out hopefully our boys will be able to spread them out with the pass and kill them with Beast Mode and Fast Freddy. Just my $.02
  23. Speaking of songs... I have been working as the over night manager at my resort here in San Antonio simply so I can guarantee that I will watch every Bills game this season. Anyways, on one of these shifts I was skimming iTunes and if you search "Buffalo Bills" there is a brand new rap song by some guy named Siris called Billieve 09. Its corny but I like it and play it often even though I am not a big rap fan. Dave
