I like Ryan Bates....I had been calling for him to start Loooooong before it actually happened. but lets face it....Bates was sitting on the bench the whole season while our OL floundered. This to me more then anything says you have to keep the OL strong with talent not just with the starters but also the backups. Motor started rolling when Bates got inserted. The skill positions are important.....but lets keep in mind Cole was on the cowboys bench....McKenzie was a guy we either picked up on waivers or traded very little foor........Davis a 4th round pick. They all started looking REALLY good when Josh was throwing them the ball. Diggs (also one of my guys long before he got here) is going to look good with any QB The guy I want to see now so we can know what we got? Hodgins.....this guy was supposed to be a excellent route running with flypaper hands and we already know he has the height to high point balls

and draft well.....the key to any team having sustained success is core players being drafted. That would have been the case if we had a unicorn qb or not.

I realize it’s a big number is a huge number but we did get in on the ground floor of Josh Allen one thing here that I haven’t seen in a way talk about this contract can be reworked as needed in order to free up Space as we go along along with the Going up so why the concern

I get so tired of people making like McDermott is stupid or something do you really think that he is going to intentionally go away from the type of offenses that has been successful here for five years no he’s not going to do that he’s going to look for someone similar to what we have had and we did not have a franchise QB at that time can people please just put their feelings aside about the fact that we just lost and went home and realize that we have a head coach with the winning record that his coach this team to five playoffs in the last six seasons and knock this ***** the ***** off

I wish he was faster and if we could get a player that does what he does now and is faster I would like to get that player

Daniel Jones is no Josh Allen....there are only so many unicorns to go around

He is gonna find out that not being able to bring Josh with him is actually a big deal

To be fair it’s not just that we need one it’s also a strength of this upcoming draft

I would like to keep McKenzie and draft a guy. I am ok with cutting Cole who has served his purpose here but I think he is almost done

I dont really care about the distraction stuff....the fact is he provides NO YAC If we want to beat the chiefs....we need to learn from what they do well....Mahommes.....who is great....but gets a TON of YAC YARDS from his receivers. Allen does not.....every seldom do you see a receiver break away for huge yardage AFTER catching the ball.....it mostly comes from Josh Allen's arm Get a YAC monster on this team.....someone who can catch a ball....make someone miss...and take it to the house

I hope that whoever is in that position next year understands that sometimes the QBs best friend is a solid ground game. Motor had 26 yards in the game we just lost all the while we had started getting our ground game going the previous 3 games. 26 yards Its not just about the committment to running it.....its getting the horses to do it. Bates was a good start......athletic OL that will get out in front and block somebody but still be able to hold up in pass protection. Say good buy to the Cody Fords and Jon F's......bring in OL that know its ok to pull and hit somebody.

The steelers would have put the corpse of Big Ben on the field for as long as he wanted to play......and the QBs currently behind him on the team suck....so
