Something very different: who we really are. 😄
John from Riverside replied to Italian Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Love all of you -
I will be absolutely furious if we allocate major resources to our defense I’m not understanding having a defensive coach, with the ability to work with players, and then putting all of the resources into the defense to McDermott coach up a defense put the groceries on the officer side of the ball

Our office is not broke. We were top-five in the NFL last year. You should always be trying to improve every position, though

I care more about damar Hamlin the person right now than I do the player

I see where you’re coming from with that. I think that that trend is about to change we need all of our Drafix frankly we need we need more.

Draft Success Measured by AV - Part III

I don’t suppose that anything is taken into account that McDermott just likes to play as veterans and these young guys are waiting for their chance? -
How do you figure?

A theory about Allen and (some) red zone turnovers
John from Riverside replied to ShakAttack's topic in The Stadium Wall
The other team gets paid to play the game to Defensive coordinators, make a living off of recognizing strengths, and finding ways to neutralize them If the bills would just knuckle down and run the ball in the red zone and score touchdowns and not field goals, we would have less turnovers -
Gregory Rousseau is becoming elite

You have to have player development because draft picks are on cost control contracts. You can only have so many high price free agents on your roster guys. They can rush the passer make bank -

So now, all of a sudden we’re down on Groot. It’s at where we’re at. -
Absolutely no trade ups

I think what shift it was expectations Fans have been listening since the beginning of the season that the bills were the favorites to win the Super Bowl then they didn’t win it so now everybody sucks you know it was interesting before this year. Gabe Davis didn’t suck. McKenzie was a fan favorite Dawson Knox was an up-and-coming tight end

The man had three concussions in one year, and the last concussion took a long time to clear from I ain’t sure if you want to back that horse

FA and draft needs? Shoot your shot.

I’m just not going to be a big fan of using premium picks on defense this year we have a defensive coach let him coach of the defense and use those premium pics on office Some of these teams we are just going to have to outs score or dominate by running the ball With any kind of look nasty, Josh Allen, being a shell of himself, isn’t going to happen for many years -
Saquon Barkley is Still a Media Favorite to the Bills
John from Riverside replied to JackKemp's topic in The Stadium Wall
you do all those things and the team is going to suck while we have a good running back There is a chance that Edmonds just price of himself out of our range As long as there’s a plan to replace ed oliver $11 million a lot of money What exactly do you think you’re gonna get for a veteran corner coming off an ACL injury tre white is worth more to us than he would be in a trade we need help on the offenseyet side of the ball if we start trading and letting players walk on the defensive side of the bar, expect a heavy, defensive draft put a tough gritty offensive line on the field and you’ll make an average running back look great -
yes, the bad coaching in bed general manager thing is getting way overblown I think the actual answer is there are some teams that are better at it than we are and they are the ones that are advancing in the playoffs. There are 32 teams we were probably about the third or fifth fourth best team this year it’s ultimately not good enough but it’s not bad either. There are how many teams that would love to be in our position? I know that sounds like a copout, but only one team wins the Super Bowl every year. We want it to be us, but you have to get yourself in a position to have a chance in the bills are doing that they need to figure out what stopping them from advancing.

for those dreaming that being is just going to turn every contract on the team into signing bonus and kick the can down the road. I think this is going to be a boring and dismal off-season for you. You cannot keep doing that. We are going to probably do a couple of contracts to get under the cap and we won’t be players in day one of free agency. I will be shocked and pleasantly surprised if we get one quality day one guy in free agency help is going to have to come to the draft now because draft picks are on quality control contracts and guys that we have picked last year we’re gonna have to step up and take bigger roles on the team. This is what happens when you start paying a franchise QB. More QBs are getting hurt in the pocket then out of it so that really isn’t the issue. The issue is we can’t run the ball consistently and Josh doesn’t have time to throw consistently. -

It’s not our only need We definitely need to go offense of line high though at least once, and then later in the draft Good practice is usually to bring in a quality vet to go along with a quality draft pick I’m not convinced that Spencer is the long-term outlook at right tackle either. I’m not convinced that we shouldn’t go right tackle with the 27th pick and then someone like Ben Powers in free agency -
Who's our slot WR in 2023, Shakir or...?
John from Riverside replied to Nephilim17's topic in The Stadium Wall
There’s just no way to tell this during a rookie season He started off slow, but he was making plays by the time the season was done -
If Frazier returns, how much will your enthusism die?
John from Riverside replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, I’m not buying that. We faced some good offenses during the regular season. no defense is going to hold down a good office for an entire game. There’s not really any teams in the league that do that. Once again, they couldn’t carry it over into the playoffs though that’s an issue
