    I think there’s a cost factor here as well Hopkins was going to cost a ton maybe even completely out of our price range Freed up some money with the Oliver extension, but not nearly enough to sign Hopkins. However, it looks like enough to be able to get that veteran pass rusher.

    This is where I am at as well He hasn’t played up to his draft selection, but that doesn’t mean that he cannot play up to it in the future and injuries have been a factor here It does not mean that he hasn’t been a good player for us. He certainly is not a bust.

    I think it depends on the price point And I think that’s what happen with Tremaine Edmunds to. I think that if Edmonds would’ve been willing to sign for cheaper that year before he got this huge deal, the bills would’ve signed him. The general manager has a price point that he doesn’t go beyond never comes to players

    I think it just shows that we fans are just fans and don’t know everything about the team To me, everything was pointing to Oliver on his way out. He hadn’t given the production to warrant his draft pick, and he had been injured this last two years. But the bills didn’t feel that way

    Yeah, I’m not talking about position for say, I’m talking about tying money into the defensive line Since we give this massive contract to Oliver, what does that mean for DaQuan Jones and Poona Ford Edmonds got straight paid way more than the bills wanted to pay. If Edmonds would’ve taken middle of the pack, middle linebacker money he might still be here.

    To be clear I don’t think that at all of her is going to go on cruise control from this contract I am more concerned on the trickle down effects of guys like DaQuan Jones, and poona Ford however
